Menidetto and Damia exchange a brief glance. Both are busy with camp business, but Damia puts down the leather straps she's mending and comes over to speak with you.
I cannot speak for our party. Only my father can do that. I can tell you that my people believe in the power of signs, and my people believe that sometimes glimpses of the future can be seen by those with the right gifts.
I do not know why we are here this night. I do know in the past, though, that my father has consulted with Madame Eva. She is very wise, she has these gifts of reading signs, and her hand has been guiding us often, these past months. Like I said, I do not speak for my father or my clan. But my guess is that we are here because Madame Eva said to be here, at this place and at this time, in order to meet you. Whether she knew you by name, or by face, or some other way, I do not know. But my father did not, I think, decide on this place in this land that is so strange to us. I think that it is Madame Eva who has the answers you seek.
Come with us and meet her, or stay the night here and go your own way in the morning. We will not harm you. But that is all I know.
“Ooooooh myyyyyy goodness! There’s an omen. We are the chosen people. It’s destiny. This is how all the great hero’s histories begin. I’m speechless. I can’t even speak. I mean, when Talian the Terrific went off to slay the ancient green dragon Malfesesius, this is how it began. When Hagar the Horrendous went to beat down Onesy, the cyclops of Cyclops Island, this is how it began. When Vinny ‘Meat’ Vincenzo began his adventure to the the third level of hell to take on the demon Barbacoa, this...is...how...it...began. OH...MY.
I've heard privately from Puddin. She'll post today, she tells me, which probably means late this afternoon or this evening. Her posting pattern indicates that she does not post during weekdays.
Frankly, we've been moving so quickly through my prepared material that I don't mind a couple of days for me to catch my breath. Thanks for your patience, all!

OMG I am sorry for being MIA - so much has happened and I also realize how out of place my last post was because like Barnaby I missed a couple of pages. I'm on vacation now so I'm back in action!
Puddin sits silently, watching and listening to the speeches of her travelers and her hosts. She does not care a lick about this group or for this newly evil prince they want to save. But, the the sound of treasure did peak her interest .
This Lady Eva, uh, does she have good food and ale that could help to grease the conversation?
History (I would like to know if I know anything about the Vinsanti) 16
Like your friends, you have never heard of the Visanti.
Our purpose here is quite serious, friend. Will there be danger in the journey? Battle, and magic? Yes. Treasure as well, I suspect. I cannot promise much of an opportunity for good food and ale, but you will indeed find it, where Madame Eva has her camp.
The extremely attentive among you may have noticed I changed the season from spring to fall. For the convenience of all of us, I've also (though I kept it to myself, at the time) switched from a fictional calendar to the real one. We are now late into the nighttime hours of September 15.

Føpé looks at the members of his party. After all this talking, slightly more comfortable by the fire, he takes his pack off and places it next to the log on which he's seated. It would seem then that we are all seriously considering this. 'Fate' is powerful, and to have it on our side in this quest is a wonderful thing.
Deception check against the Visanti with advantage from being inspired: 16, 22
Føpé stands up and stretches a little, he rises with his staff, Excuse me, nature calls.
Føpé finds a secluded spot just outside of the camp for a moment of privacy, and makes a run for it, as quickly and as quietly as he can, as though someone with the power of mind control is on his heels. He will head away from the road and into the wood.
Fope, there are several Visanti within eyesight of you when you pass a tent and leave Damia's view. As you near the edge of the firelight, and you look for your chance to make a run for it, they remain occupied with camp-related tasks and seem completely uninterested in you. When you do run, nobody follows, and nobody seems to notice.

I continue for a couple of hours, or until something happens, in a direction away from the road. If it is within my skills, after about 15 minutes, I'll make an effort to hide my tracks, perhaps by hiking in streams or such things. Survival: 23

Congrats! You got everything. :)
^ In case you missed it above.
Thank you Damia, we appreciate your info
Kif shakes his head and ponders for a moment
Who am I to blow against the wind or the magical voices upon it, I'm inclined to help these people out
He turns to the others what say you, friends

Føpé is pretty sure he knows what Barnaby will say, but never the less, he looks to her, waiting for an answer before he responds.
I believe you meant Puddin?
Yes, I did mean Puddin.
We likely won't hear from her until late this afternoon or this evening. But this is an important bit, so for now we'll wait for her.

Who is Puddin talking to?

From a few posts up:
Damia, as I understood it.

Everyone but Fope, please roll a perception check.

You can pause. You are in my power, at the moment, and I'll tell you what happens later.
