Is there anything unusual or magical about the doll? Perception: 15, Arcana: 20
An Insight check of 15 is more than enough to tell that there is something deeply unnatural about this boy. He seems to be half leering with everything he does, and there is something violent in the way he is handling the knife. Though there is nothing unusual about the doll itself; you suspect that it might be intended to resemble the headmistress. But it is still unformed.
Kif moves forward a couple steps and unlimbers his ax
Felix watches as Kif's hand goes to his axe and his eyes go wide. Oh, yessssss. . . .
The light coming from the attic's far window seems to dim of its own accord, suppressed by an unnatural, invisible force. A dark, putrid smoke begins to exude from Felix’s skin, wafting from his body as an impenetrable shadow. As the boy's body slumps forward, the shadow begins to take form, arms stretching out from the central mass in solid, black claws. A demonic face grins, baring rows of razor sharp teeth.
Barnaby will cast protection from good and evil on Kif. Beware this nefarious foe! Sir Will Kensington once had his brains turned to tapioca by a similar fiend.
Lucento, you can only use one spell slot per turn. You can also cast a cantrip as a secondary spell if one of them is a bonus action like spiritual weapon.
Right. Lucento, you can only cast two spells in a turn if one of them is a cantrip. It's just one of those little rules.
You can, however, use a spell you've already case - such as Spiritual Weapon - as a bonus action. So if you cast Spiritual Weapon this turn, allowing you to summon and then attack with your spell, and then next turn you can cast Bless and attack with your SW. Or, you could cast Bless this turn and SW next turn, which would have the added benefit of affecting your Bless targets for an extra turn.
The demon solidifies into a mass made of black smoke that takes on a vague, elongated form with arms, legs and a head. This shadow form bleeds a black, inky substance with an acrid smell.
It shrieks in fury at Kif, and attempts to slash him with a claw. Rolling only a modified 14, though, it misses. (Right?)
Mortal ants. I have seen the shadows of the Great Powers moving through the Dark Seas around this sphere. Your paltry magics are nothing!

Initiative: 9
Sorry for my absenteeism! Happy Holidays :)
Ok, there's a new battle map up. Felix is slumped in the chair; the shadow creature fills the attic between you and him.
Everybody goes!
When it's my turn I'll step up, do a feinting attack
25 attack with advantage
If that hits 14 plus 1 damage
edit: I reroll 1 or 2 damage, should I hit, so 9 for the first part of the damage roll
Barnaby will cast protection from good and evil on Kif.
Beware this nefarious foe! Sir Will Kensington once had his brains turned to tapioca by a similar fiend.
Thanks Barnaby, I sure don't want my brain turned to pudding
Føpé, excited for the action, attacks! Attack: 17 Damage: 15
While both blows strike true, Fope’s stab does not seem to hurt the creature as much as he thought it would have.
As much, or at all?
Lucento casts Bless on Kif, Barnaby, and Fope.
As a bonus action, Lucento casts Spirtual Weapon, and projects a golden mace toward the demon: 18 (to hit) 11 (dmg)

So did he bless us or spiritual weapon that MFer?

Either way. What's your pleasure?
Lucento stirs from his daydream of being able cast two spells at once, and proceeds to cast Bless (and only Bless) on his companions.

Everybody is up. Go again!
That is a miss, correct
Feinting attack again 13 plus bless 4
Should that strike 9 plus 6 damage
You smell worse than Grammy's burnt haggis
