"I’m not sure we should go see the kids until we rid this house of all the evils inside. That was... quick work dispatching that spirit. I’m not too accustomed to fighting these sorts of things.”
She lets Orilo take point, not too eager to face another ghost directly, but will stay right behind him as they go into the room. Perception: 20
The double doors to this room have dusty panes of stained glass set into them. Designs in the glass resemble windmills.
The dusty, cobweb-filled master bedroom has burgundy drapes covering the windows. Furnishings include a four-poster bed with embroidered curtains and tattered gossamer veils, a matching pair of empty wardrobes, a vanity with a wood-framed mirror, a jewelry box , and a padded chair. A rotting tiger-skin rug lies on the floor in front of the fireplace, which has a dust-covered portrait of Gustav and Elisabeth Durst hanging above it. A web-filled parlor in the southwest corner contains a table and two chairs. Resting on the dusty tablecloth is an empty porcelain bowl and a matching jug. A door facing the foot of the bed has a full-length mirror mounted on it. The door opens to reveal an empty, dust-choked closet. A door in the parlor leads to an outside balcony.
Orilo, the undead presence you felt a moment ago has "moved" upstairs into the attic.
Corrin tentatively enters the room and begins inspecting the walls for false panels and such. "With this house, there is no reason to not suspect a hidden door in every room," he mutters, keeping a wary eye out for more of those undead fiends. "I say the sooner were done with this mess, the better." The halfling keeps his amulet of Charmalaine close at hand, hoping some of the deity's luck rubs off on him and keeps him from meeting some unwanted demise, cursing him to haunt these halls with the rest of the fiends. "I can see why the kids are hesitant to return home."

"I don't think that there's any secret doors in here or anywhere else on this floor. That leaves the attic that Elya found as our last place to search. Hey Orilo, are there any more undead creatures that we need to worry about?"

"So many fine things allowed to fall into disuse... There is no way that these rooms have become this dusty in a matter of weeks. Those children do not live on these floors, and there are no signs that a parent has lived here for far too long!"
Seeing Corrin searching the room, Ledanra casts a Mage Hand, uses it to pat the halfling on the head, then dismisses the hand immediately.
Corrin spins about, feeling the pat on the head, but seeing no one near him shivers a bit. "Lucky Lady, I dislike this place you've sent me to," he mutters, turning to Anborn. "If it is up we must go to get down and, eventually pray tell, out then let us be about it."

"Mind the spirit."Orilo pipes in as he closed the door. "It has moved."He gesture up towards ceiling, and by extension the attic beyond. While on his way out, sidestepping the tiger rug for the third time, he stops to look back at the mirror. Curious, Orilo goes back to look at himself through it without taking off his helmet, but clears off any dust with his hand. After a minute(if even given as much) of uninterrupted staring he goes to join the others upstairs.

Ledanra will move to the bottom of the stairs and send the mage hand up, using it to press on every step as it moves up, before reaching the top of the stairs. "Who's the brave soul takjng the lead? I shall not be far behind."
Ledanra follows upstairs and takes in the surroundings, "If you choose which door you want to open, I'll have the hand do it for you, if there is something hostile up here, then I would feel better were all weapons readied rather than having to peek through doorways."

THE CHILDREN'S ROOM
This room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds sized for children. Closer to the door is a toy chest with windmills painted on its sides and a dollhouse that’s a perfect replica of the dreary edifice in which you stand. These furnishings are draped in cobwebs. Lying in the middle of the floor are two small skeletons wearing tattered but familiar clothing. The smaller of the two cradles a stuffed doll that you also recognize.
OOC: Maybe the parents didn't slit their throats in their sleep, but I feel like Anborn is able to conclude that these kids were locked in here and left to die.

Regardless of the cause of death, Anborn no longer sees the purpose of the party being here.
"This is all very tragic and morbid, but the children who asked for our help seem to be long dead and I'd wager that their baby sibling is as well. Should we just leave here and move on?"

THE ATTIC
As you arrive on the attic level, the bare hall is choked with dust and cobwebs. The undead presence is in the north right room.
Ledanra follows upstairs and takes in the surroundings, "If you choose which door you want to open, I'll have the hand do it for you, if there is something hostile up here, then I would feel better were all weapons readied rather than having to peek through doorways."

"Alright. Well, I've made it this far, what's a little more danger?"
Elya stands in front of the ghost room door and readies herself while waiting for Ledanra to open the door.
Corrin moves up behind Elya, a blade in one hand and his amulet clutched in the other.
“Be careful, we may not get as lucky as last time.”

"******* hell. These devils killed their own children. Now I really want to know what's going on here so we can get out of this land."

That is absolutely correct and easily discernible.
Regardless of the cause of death, Anborn no longer sees the purpose of the party being here.
