Rethanstrikes at the mimic with his glaive, twirling it to strike with the back end, then twirling again to strike with the glaive (using action surge.)
Glaive Attack: 12 Damage: 6
Glaive butt Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Glaive Attack: 9 Damage: 12
Dizzy from the stench, Rethancannot land a hit on the elusive mimic.
Between Titus' keeping the mimic occupied with his shield and Lanielsquirming his feet into a position to resist the bite, he manages to stay out of the splintery jaws of the beast.
"I have the stone! Maybe we try to make a fighting retreat?"
The stench almost makes Morph gag as he speaks.
Morph backs towards the door out of the room, placing the stone in his pouch.
Raising his hands crossed, palm-over-palm, Morph utters the arcane word that precede his blast of eldritch energy, aiming for the part of the Mimic, that is holding Lanial.
Move: over, closer to the exit
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at the Mimic: Attack: 7 - Damage: 1 force damage
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Titus again attempts to shove back the ooze to buy them more time in their fighting retreat. If the ooze is still in range he will swing with his axe, and then move the 30 feet towards the exit.
Mal is about to take his leave when he notices the creature's pseudopod strike Titus on the brow, enveloping him in a powerful grip. He reaches out his hand and shuts his eyes for a moment. His clothes flutter as if in a slight breeze, though the stench is unaffected. Even his hair ruffles slightly as something seems to pass from his outstretched hand on Titus shoulder, relieving him of the effects of the poison. (Mal uses celestial legacy to cast lesser restoration, removing the poisoned condition from Titus. I assume that if he inhales again he will receive the debuff once again. Best I can do on my limited skill set right now.)
Titus shoves the mimc back even further while Rethan runs in and lands two blows on the monstrosity.
The mimic fights back, striking at Titus with its pseudopod.
Pseudopod Attack: 25 Damage: 9
The blow is directly to Titus' head and the pseudopod sticks firmly to him (DC 13 to escape its grasp using an action or else a successful shove.)
(Mal and Morph are up.)
(So if Titus shoved the mimic back, is it moving back into range to attack him? Potentially triggering my AoO from polearm master when it enters my reach?)
Morph backs out the door to join Lanial, again raising his hands crossed palm over palm, and releases another blast of eldritch energy in the direction of the Mimic.
Move: back out the door.
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at the Mimic: Attack: 9 - Damage: 3 force damage
Move: step aside to allow others to get through the door.
Titus starts to lose his balance a bit before recovering. He looks diminished in his tattered sleepwear, which by now was torn and stained with blood and filth. His resplendent armor, hung uselessly in his room back at the manor.
He uses his shield again to scrape the creature off of him, hoping to escape this foul place.
(If Titus is just disengaging from the sticky pseudopod, this technically gives the mimic an AoO for moving away. If he shield bashes, which he can do without disadvantage due to Mal's spell, then he can shove the creature back and then escape. So I am going to roll a STR check in the hopes that Titus can get away without an AoO.)
Mimic STR check: 9
As Laniel did before him, Titus manages to knock the mimic back, giving him space to retreat to Morph, Laniel, and Mal.
(Rethan gets an AoO and a regular action, as well as movement. Laniel will forgo his action unless there is something useful he could do.)
Rethan slashes at the mimic with his glaive as the creature closes the distance again to attack Titus, then strikes two more times before following Titus once more in retreating.
AoO: Attack: 21 Damage: 6
Attack: 21 Damage: 12
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
Disadvantage rolls: AoO 22, first attack for actual turn 9, bonus attack 10
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rethan's attack nearly splits the mimic in half. It seems to melt into a pink blob for a moment, then reforms as a chair again with a mouth of splintery teeth. The mimic makes a high-pitched snarl of sorts that sounds utterly alien and charges at Rethan but never quite gets in range.
Rethan AoO - Glaive Attack: 10 Damage: 9
(Anyone can try and put this thing out of its misery in any order. It is clearly close to death. However it is not in range of anyone either, so fleeing is fine too.)
Mimic STR check: 22
The mimic resists the push, clinging to Laniel, after which Titus stumbles in his attack.
Rethan is up
Rethan strikes at the mimic with his glaive, twirling it to strike with the back end, then twirling again to strike with the glaive (using action surge.)
Glaive Attack: 12 Damage: 6
Glaive butt Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Glaive Attack: 9 Damage: 12
Dizzy from the stench, Rethan cannot land a hit on the elusive mimic.
It bites at (1) Laniel.
Bite Attack (Assuming disadvantage from Titus' shield reaction): 14 Damage: 11
Between Titus' keeping the mimic occupied with his shield and Laniel squirming his feet into a position to resist the bite, he manages to stay out of the splintery jaws of the beast.
Mal and Morph are up.
In an effort to help, Mal will take a stab at the mimic.
Attack: 6 Damage: 4

The blast hits the ceiling, causing a little dust to fall.
(Laniel, Titus, and Rethan are up.)
"A retreat sounds great," Laniel says with a gasp.
Laniel stomps his foot in a precise kick above the mimic's psuedopod, the strikes at then pseudopod itself with a knife-hand strike.
Kick Attack: 18 Damage: 7
Knife-hand Attack: 8 Damage: 8
His kick lands and it might be enough to push the mimic back. DEX(12) check or move 15 feet: 8
The mimic tumbles across the floor, landing upright, but dropping Laniel in the process. Laniel moves 40 feet into the next room.
"Get your hits in if you can, but otherwise, let's get out of here."
Titus again attempts to shove back the ooze to buy them more time in their fighting retreat. If the ooze is still in range he will swing with his axe, and then move the 30 feet towards the exit.

He immediately turns and runs away.

Yes. Go for it.

Eyes watering makes Morph's vision blurry as we misfires, hitting the floor next to Titus.
(Titus, Rethan, and Laniel are up, including Rethan's AoO.)

"Let's get out of this..."
Morph gags a little,
"...disgusting place!"
Morph lets off one last blast of eldritch energy at the Mimic, before heading towards the exit.
"Everyone keep on your toes, we could be attacked again, above ground."
"Also, while we should head back to the manor, to get our other things, I suggest we may want to find somewhere else to sleep the rest of the night."
"Maybe somewhere outside the city?"
Action: Cast Eldritch Blast through the door, at the Mimic: Attack: 16 - Damage: 10 force damage

"I should have brought my bow," Laniel says. He picks up a piece of rubble and hurls it at the mimic, then follows Morph towards the sewer.
Improvised Attack: 7 Damage: 8
The piece of stone smashes into the mimic, causing a dull thud. The monstrosity crumples to the ground and turns back into a shapeless grey blob.
