The elusive wolf momentarily forgotten, the wounded orc turns back to whip his greataxe across in a chop aimed at the nearest Silverstar's chest. The gaunt woman grunts at the clearly agonising impact of the weapon, almost faltering despite her obvious resolve. Barely standing her ground but yet still keeping her spear point raised, the bloodied warrior somehow manages to spin the haft of her weapon around and drive its tip towards the midsection of her orcish attacker, though her wounds weaken the thrust of her attack, allowing the bruttish orc to knock aside the spear tip without harm.
On the other side of the beleagured militia patrol, the other remaining orcish raider brings his greataxe swinging down towards the head and neck of the lanky lizardman who had already taken a wound from his adversary. Unfortunately for the guardsman, the orc's savage swing drives the head of the weapon deep into his neck. The lizard man collapses limply to the ground, clearly dead before he hits the ground.
Crying out at the death of his colleague, the first of the longsword wielding Silverstars keeps enough presence of mind to step across, catching the left-most orc between himself and the menacing wolf. Taking advantage of the orc's focus on deflecting the incoming spear, the militia member puts every ounce of cold fury he can into his strike and runs the orc clean through, watching in satisfaction as the raider crumples to the bloodied earth. The last of the Silverstars attacks the last remaining orc with similar cold fury, almost slaying the maruader and leaving multiple bloody wounds on its body, though the orc still stands.
Apparently unaware of the wolf's presence, the ogre still seems fixated in crushing the armoured huminoid defenders before it. Raising it's massive club for another powerful downwards smash, the huge creature strikes with incredible strength, but little accuracy. Realising the futility of trying to block the massive weapon, the severely wounded guardswoman does well to sidestep the thunderous impact of the weapon, thus surely saving her own life... for the moment.

As the final orc falls to Mazin's blows, Altani waists no time in dropping her sword and bending down with one knee to the earth over the limp body of her elven comrade.

Running as fast and hard as he can, Kestrell rushes Northwards past a jumble of small shops, homes and gardens, finally emerging with a view of the still distant battle taking place inside the broken Northgates. While the distance and deepening darkness make it hard to discern details, the keen ears of the half-elven sorcerer clearly make out the clashing of weapons, shouts of both orc and townguard and the feral snarling of some bestial creature. While the combatants are hard to make out one from another, the looming form of some brutish invader stands well above the others, lifting what looks like a huge club for another powerful strike against the town's defenders.

Furiously ripping and tearing into the ogre's lower legs, Wolf-Dewi hears a loud *ROAR* of pain from her target, as something too fast to see flies in fromt the darkness with a *pfffttt* to catch the now VERY angry ogre in the neck. As the rest of Mazin's turn, he will drop his handaxes and go beside Thurk. "Help, Thurk needs help!"
If no one shows up before Mazin's next turn, he will try to stabilize Thurk. medicine7
If someone shows up before Mazin's next turn to stabilize Thurk, Mazin will tell them "Help him, I need to rejoin the fight. There are others that need to be protected." He will dash (60ft) east and north through the center of town, towards the fighting. As he goes, he will pull out a javelin.
Altani's healing prayer has the desire effect and Alwin manages, weakly at first, but then with growing strength, the disentangle himself from Thurk's still form and climb to his feet. Retrieving his sword, the revived fighter takes a moment to regain his bearings, before starting off in a run after the galloping form of his four-legged saviour.
As Mazin looks down at the motionless form of Thurk in concern, the door to Alcalde's home cracks open and a thin, fearful voice calls out, "Ehh, is it safe out there yet? Thurk, did you manage to chase those nasty brutes away from my.. Oh, THURK!" A moment later, the small form of the gnome mayor of Ambersilt emerges from the house, a slingshot in one hand and lantern in the other, while a belt with a number of vials sits around his waist. Kneeling down besides the prone lizardman, the clearly concerned Alcalde begins to check vitals and administer healing to the badly wounded smith.
Noticing Mazin standing nearby, his axes bloodied and dead orcs at his feet, Alcalde Reevis diverts just enough attention from his ministrations to shout, "Go, help the town and its other defenders! I'll see to our dear brave smith here." The persuasive gnome's words send the battle ready barbarian running off after his allies, his crimson dripping axes raised and ready to claim the lives of yet more orcish raiders.

Her heart thumping in her chest, Sylmerisaims at the ogre. There's a flash memory of the children's story of D'laithen and the Ogre, the story of a wandering elven boy using smarts to lure an ogre to a weak cliffedge, the boy uses his elven nimbleness to get himself to safety, letting the ogre fall to its doom.
"And so, you too shall fall..." She says to herself as she lets another arrow fly...
Now flanked by two of Silverstar defenders, the lone remaining orc shouts angrily before bringing his greataxe over his right shoulder in a mighty downwards chop towards the enemy in front of both he and the ogre. The crude but deadly weapon connects on the ducking militia member, scoring a deep, horrible wound that would surely have felled the man if not for the lingering auro of vitality summoned forth by the wild shaped druid.
The two Silverstars flanking the last orc act with trained cooperation, the left-most swordsman ducking left and stabbing low and upwards, the right-most militia member keeping a high-guard, stepping right and stabbing downwards. Despite the grevious wound taken by the former, the Silverstar's longsword comes up piercing the side of the raider, while the sword of his uninjured ally slides deep into the orc's back. As both guardsman withdraw their blades simultaneously, the dead orc slumps to the ground.
The badly wounded spear wielding Silverstar shakes her head in disbelief at the power of the ogre evidenced by the huge impact and divot left by its club, but seems to take heart in the presence of an unlikely ally - the wolf that continues to savage and distract the large marauder. With only a slight awkwardness despite her severe wounds, the resiliant warrior tosses her heavy shield to the ground and using both hands stabs forwards and upwards towards the protruding gut of the massive creature that has invaded her home and killed her friends. The tip of the guardswoman's spear pierces the ogre's stomach, but the valiant defender fails to drive it deep, likely due to her injuries.
*For its part, the ogre stomps its bloodied and torn right leg in anger, the furious creature's attention now well and truly on the attacks of Wolf-Dewi. Snarling bruttishly, the towering lumpish figure brings its massive club swooping down with a *WHOOSH* at its lupine antagonist. Unable to get out of the way in time, the unfortunate wolf-druid takes the full brunt of the powerful strike. *CRUNCHED* into Ambersilt's wet dirt, the mangled form but still menacing form of the wolf continues to fight on, despite it's bloodied condition.

Her heart thumping in her chest, Sylmeris aims at the ogre.

Mazin will nod to Alcalde and run towards the fighting.
He will use the dash action. If possible, he'll put away the axes and pull out a javelin as he goes. I think he will get to L or M 28. Is that right?

The club crashed into Dewi and crushed her ribs on one side, if not for the spiritual essence permeating the area the club would have scattered her wolf body and left her bleeding in the dirt.
She yelped but did not back down, she snapped at the fingers holding the club as they retreated, sharp teeth shearing flesh....
