Making your way around the floor, you find thirteen rooms in total. The rooms appear to have been cleared out in quite a hurry - whatever they used to hold is long gone - but each room still contains a display case in the center, and each display case shows off a single potion. The potions are all of different colors, some of them bubbling, some of them with objects inside them.
OOC: Fumbles will be working on the vault for quite some time. Is there anything else that any of the groups want to do before I start advancing, or any more of the tower you would like to explore? If so, someone could swap places with Rycider and Karst to allow them some exploration if they don't mind.
Tanakir grabs a few of the smaller potions, putting them in small loops on his belt and giving them a small taste to see what they do before heading to the elevator, bringing the unconscious orcs with him. "Fifth floor."
Seeing Rycider and Karst, "I brought a few more, I can watch these so you all can move out."
after taking the potions that the others didn’t grab. Wes will continue to the third floor. Only to look and not touch anything. Even putting Petunia into her pocket plane to avoid any mistakes.
”I’m going to check out the third floor, don’t worry I won’t touch anything.” Wes speaks into the stone.
You're not sure what the three potions that you grabbed are capable of, but you're certain they have a magical effect. Two of the potions are a transparent liquid that contain a sliver of something that looks like bone. The third is a yellow fluid streaked with layers of black, and is constantly swirling.
OOC: In order to learn the properties of these items without guessing, they must be identified, either by the use of an Identify spell or by spending a short rest focused only on that item. You may want to divvy them up among the party as well. The potions have been added to your inventory.
For Wes:
Of the ten potions you grabbed, you only know the properties of one: A potion of healing (greater). The rest are a gambit of different liquids:
One is yellow, streaked with black layers, and is swirling constantly on its own. One is cloudy and white, but seems to defy gravity, floating at the top of its container. Two are transparent and contain a sliver of something that looks like bone. One looks like liquid, molten iron. Two are transparent, but when agitated reveal bits of hair, claw and fang. One is transparent liquid surrounding red liquid that is constantly expanding and contracting into the center of the bottle. One has layers of brown, gray, and silver that look almost like sediment.
OOC: In order to learn the properties of these items without guessing, they must be identified, either by the use of an Identify spell or by spending a short rest focused only on that item. You may want to divvy them up among the party as well. The potions have been added to your inventory.
The stairway opens to a very long hallway on the third floor. There are four doors on each side of the stairs, with large paintings lining the walls.
For Tanakir, Karst and Rycider:
Tanakir arrives on the fifth floor, gradually bringing an unconscious bound orc into the room one at a time, offering to relieve Karst and Rycider of their guard duties.
Before navigating and inspecting the hallway and doors. Wes will sit exactly where he is and take ten minutes to ritually cast detect magic. Barring any magic that seems to be wards against intrusion, he will then go door to door to investigate. Starting with the first door on the left and going clockwise from there.
Aradurk heads back to the vault room, leaving open only the doors into the room. As he steps back in, Aradurk looks for a nice angle to both entryways into the room in his sights. He stretches, replaces his great sword with his bow and notches an arrow lightly.
Aradurk touches the green crystal and states, "All clear up here - if you come up, let me know. I don't trust the cells up here so I am staying clear of them. good work clearing level 4. Let me know if you're planning on visiting so I don't perforate anything critical."

Why thankyou mah dear, I do have one thang I need to do. Rycider will put down the dice and head to the Magic Stairs.
Floor Seven Please.
For Fumbles:
Ricky will make sure neither of their Sending Stones are active before speaking. I will be brief as I know you are a busy wee man. Do you have a scroll of Mass Memory Wipe? Ya see Dear, Ahm afraid the motive of us being here is quite clear even to tha most stupid of those smart little goblins. We have also been bandyin about our real names in front of the prisoners and ahm afraid your clever self be a main culprit. Do you have any ideas? Or did you need lil' ol' me ta figure this one out?
Rycider joins Aradurk with Fumbles in the vault room. The gnome barely looks up from his notes, fiddling with the complex pattern of diamonds along the wall, which respond with a glow of various colors as he shuffles and moves them.
"It's not the goblins I'm worried about knowing our names, Ricky. There are much more powerful forces involved here. Do all you can to cover our tracks...leave some misleading clues, anything that might confuse the situation. Wizards will trust their own eyes over the word of goblins, my dear bard," he says.
For Wes:
You hear Aradurk's voice over the crystals as you prepare your ritual. When finished, magic registers to your senses from all around. Honing your senses to the spell, you note an aura of evocation magic that seems to cover the entire floor.
The paintings shift as you walk along the hall, revealing startlingly accurate images of your grandfather Clarence; one shows him with a young portrait of yourself, reading a story to you as you look on in wonder - another shows an image of his funeral, each painting displaying a prominent memory of yours, and all involving your grandfather.
The rooms on this floor all seem to be connected, with strange arcane purple veins stretching across walls to small cubby holes that hold interesting, but seemingly non-magical items; a mummified hand of a goblin, the bony talon of a dragon, a gold coin from an unknown land, a pair of old socks, a weathered chess piece made of glass, a silver badge in the shape of a star, a small idol depicting a horrifiying figure that chills you to look at, a metal device with two cups on one end, and a human-shaped white sequined glove.
Alrighty then. So here's what we're gunna do. A Bunker's Pentest. We are here on a job to ascertain the towers defenses. I'll start on the report. Cheerio.
Rycider returns to the fifth floor. She will retrieve her writing equipment from her bag and start producing a Security Report with a scathing indictment of the current state of readiness. She will also expertly pen an invoice. She will find some kind of portable flat surface (i.e. a clipboard) in order to carry her quill and paper with her. She will then survey the captives and note any injuries in the report. Should she think it necessary, she will also heal any of the orcs that have injuries too severe.
Rycider gets to work formulating the party's cover while the others settle in for a rest.
For Wes:
Strangely, the paintings themselves don't register as magic to your senses.
OOC: Giving Wes the chance to finish his exploration, and then I will resolve the short rest. If there is anything else that anybody wants to do before the short rest, feel free.
(I know the map said stay away from floor three but if there are nonmagical paintings from his childhood, he’s going to investigate.... so sorry if I ruin everything.)
We backs away to the stairs and gets as far as he can. He has Petunia appear in his hands, holding her from under the arms. “Sorry about this, but you know what has to be done.... You know I have to know.” We will send Petunia to run as fast as she can across the floor and back to see if it’s the floor that’s triggered for traps to go off.
After it’s resolved Wes will investigate the paintings. Even touching the paintings(but only the paintings). Seeing all the keepsakes up close, does Wes recognize any of them that maybe his grandfather had.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
For Wes:
Perception: 18
Petunia runs back and forth along the length of the hallway, but suffers no ill effects; it appears the floor is not trapped.
The paintings don't seem to have any special qualities about them up close, but you notice as you approach each painting, the previous paintings shift into something unrelated to you. It is only as you come close to each painting that it reveals an image of you and your grandfather.
You don't recognize any of the keepsakes as belonging to your grandfather.
Wes and Zikahl join the others on the fifth floor to see Rycider still walking among the bound forms on the floor, taking notes on a piece of parchment.
OOC: Everyone is now back together on the fifth floor except for Aradurk, and a short rest is beginning.
Tanakir is spending the rest identifying a potion, and Rycider is working on a cover for the party's identity. Is anybody else doing any light activity during the rest?
