Priton takes a deep breath of the new fresh air. The cold of dark has not yet replaced the warmth of the day. The cicadas begin their harmony in the trees around you. The leaves are vibrant with life and colors as you feel a breeze flow by like a whisper, maybe it was after all from the White Lady. Time almost seems to stand still just for a moment as you lose yourself in this serene setting. Forgetting about the trials earlier in the day, you feel refreshed. Amongst the busy miners setting up tents and campsites and fire. Everyone too busy at the task at hand to notice the deer off in the distance standing still and observing.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

After sitting there for a while priton will set up a little area for himself by the tree, lay out his bedroll and use his bag of tricks (Spawn: 6 ) and walk around to see if anyone needs help before once everyones been help going to bed by the tree

At camp, Hermenor will entertain everyone with another sea shanty, hoping that people will join in for some merriment. He only does this after Priton tells him that there is no danger nearby.
SINGY-SONGY TIME:
FAREWELL FAIR LADIES
Farewell an’ adieu to you fair ladies, Farewell an’ adieu to you ladies of of the shore, For we’ve received orders for to sail for Old Land, An’ hope very shortly to see you again.
We’ll rant an’ we’ll roar, like true Elvish sailors, We’ll rant an’ we’ll rave across the salt seas, ‘Till we strike soundings in the channel of Old Land, From isle to isle is thirty-four leagues.
We hove our ship to, with the wind at sou’west, boys, We hove our ship to for to take soundings clear. In fifty-five fathoms with a fine sandy bottom, We filled our maintops’l, up channel did steer.
Now the signal was made for the Grand Fleet to anchor, We clewed up our tops’ls, stuck out tacks and sheets. We stood by our stoppers, we brailed in our spankers, And anchored ahead of the noblest of fleets.
Let every man here drink up his full bumper, Let every man here drink up his full bowl, And let us be jolly and drown melancholy, Drink a health to each jovial an’ true-hearted soul
The dwarves man is very grateful for his pipe. “Haha! Thank you very much. It was my father’s and his father’s before that. They never washed it, the flavor built up for over 150 years, nothing like it.”
The spirits seem to be high after Hermenor’s song, they continue to sing and dance for a bit in the fire light. Their first night of freedom in who knows how long. Rufus sits back sitting against a try just watching and smiling.
Eventually they all begin to turn in for the night one by one. A peaceful nights rest says it’s farewell to the sun poking through the trees. Birds chirping in the air The dew on the ground below leaves a soft squish under your feet instead of a crunch.
(Who’s leading the expedition back? I’ll need a Survival Check with advantage.)
Setting off the next day you start hiking through the woods following the path the best you can. It gets patchy and have to make some adjustments to get through the thick brush. But Hermenor leading the pack is able to keep everyone on pace and target. Eventually the path emerges into another one. The one originally taken on the way that started this journey to the glen. After continuing your trek you come upon a familiar rock formation off to the side. A large bear lies motionless near a cave, dead. You hear the grunts of a smaller bear nudging at it, trying to get a reaction from its mother.

Priton will approach the bear showing no intention to heart it and see if it lets him nearby. Then if it does he will just pet it and chill with it for a few minutes

The bear backs away slightly, not wanting to leave its mother begins to growl and swipe at Priton out of defense. Apparently the message is not being received.
Rufus steps in “what would you like the critter to know? I have a way with speaking with animals, it’s common for my people.”
Rufus steps forward sticking out his hand in a peaceful manner as he squats down. He doesn’t actually say any words just makes eye contact with the cub. After a long stare the cub relaxes but then lays its two paws on the body of its mother.
Rufus speaks to the group “He doesn’t want to leave his mama. He’s having a hard time letting go.”
(skill challenge - two other people can make a check to persuade the cub. You can’t use the same check that someone has already done, so you can get creative with it. Just RP what you do. So Animal Handling is off the table)
Hermenor approaches the bear and asks Rufus to translate, however that is supposed to work: "You are not a cub anymore. It might be early, but you are now a full grown bear. The evil corruption in this land made sure of that" The elf kneels by the mama bear and examines her wounds: "I do not mean to be cruel, but it is important for you to understand that your mother has passed away. See these wounds? They are too much for anyone to bear (pun definitely intended OOC, but not in-character). She was strong and fought for as long as she could. Now it is your time to do the same. Fight, Survive. Help defend the forest so that no corruption like this recent one can take other families." He stands back up: "Come with us. There is a village in another part of the forest where you will certainly be welcomed. They will help protect the forest too, like you. There is strength in numbers. Let us go."
The important part of the speech here is Hermenor convincing him that his mama bear is gone and hence, he is a grown up now (rolling medicine: 22).
