Althus stands slowly, feeling pain course through his entire body. He holds a hand to his head, muttering, "They've all gone mad! I need to stop them before they try to hurt Garielle again."
He looks around the room for any sufficiently heavy objects with which to block the doorway. Afterwards, he looks down at the pieces of the destroyed coffin, beginning to try and piece the thing back together.
(Pardon me while we get a little timey-wimey here)
While Dog is searching the top floor, before Tock goes and gets himself poisoned by a trap downstairs, Althus wakes up. It is during a moment when nobody is in the room and he scrambles to try and barricade the broken door with the unlocked chest still with gold. It is a poor job and Dog can see through the cracks in the barricade that Althus is trying to reassemble the coffin, though with no glue, thus finding it futile.
Later, after dealing with Althus (or letting him be), Dog checks on Gash, only to find the place Tock described to be empty. Gash is not in the alley where the kenku left him.
Gash:
Gash makes it back to the White Swan inn. Neventi and Gentoa are not there.
Dog sighs deeply, not sure if he'll survive the next two hours. He returns to the house and helps to gather the valuable things and tries to convince Althus they're just trying to carry out Garielle's orders. It's probably futile, but he's tired, and done with this long, long night.
A city watchperson approaches Gash cautiously. "Sir," she says as she holds up a hand. "Little..uh...goblin...man... You seem distressed. Can we...uh...sit and talk about your problem?"
Althus:
Althus is having great difficulty in putting the coffin back together. If you'd like, we can do a deception/insight context with Dog about his story. Otherwise, nothing looks to be happening for the next hour.
"I'm supposed to find my friend. To please the most beautiful woman in the world -- I must bring my friend to her. A mother and a child. Have you seen them? Neventi and Gentoa."

The city watchperson pats the bench, encouraging Gash to sit again. "I don't know them, no...wait a second, you are trying to please a beautiful woman by bringing her a mother and child? How will that please this woman?"
"Oh she's been looking for them, dying to meet them. And if I must say, who wouldn't be the child is a delight and the mother is a real hoot too. but really I can't sit. no time. I must find them!"

Dog's deception check: 10
Dog is clearly fabricating his story about trying to help Garielle.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dog steps away into the hallway, momentarily out of sight of Althus still in the coffin room. He looks at Martin, Bulwark, and Tock. Rolls his eyes very tiredly, and sighs. Casts disguise self to look like Garielle. Walks back to the doorway so Althus can see. Puts a finger to his lips and says, "shhhhh." Then pumps his fist and casts catapult, causing a piece of shattered coffin to the right of Althus to fly right at the side of the paladin's head, hoping to knock him out again. Dex 15 save or get 17 bludgeoning damage.
An hour goes by and Tock's blindness fades. (Bulwark and Tock have completed a short rest.) In the coffin chamber, the mist still swirls around, becoming more and more dispersed over time. Althus remains unconscious.
Dog will help tie up Althus, and ask if they need to gag him to make sure there isn’t spellcasting to worry about. He also opens up all the windows he can find in the house to await the rays of the sun. “So Gash is.... somewhere. Probably doing something insane. I know from my alarm spell that no one has been in Nev and Genny’s room so they are still safe, hopefully just sleeping soundly and unworried about all this horror. Once Althus is back to us, and the vampire is gone for good, we should try to find Gash and go back to the inn. I’ll also stop by that temple that was so useless and tell them what happened here and that they can deal with the aftermath and attention of the authorities — any of you are welcome to join if interested but I was just assuming not. Bulwark, what was it like being charmed by her?”
Well, I'm not sure. Last I saw they were at that inn. But that was a while ago now. So I dont know where they are. They could be anywhere! Yes, I know magic. Though, none of it will help me right now.

Gash wakes up, holds the bottle of wine, "ah a nice give for my Garielle!" he stands up and starts running to the inn again.

Althus drops. He should probably get that looked at.
“Probably for the best for now.” Martin says rather dispassionately about Althus.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Althus:
Althus will wake up in 106 minutes. He will still be under the sway of Garielle for about 15 more minutes at that point.
At the house:
An hour goes by and Tock's blindness fades. (Bulwark and Tock have completed a short rest.) In the coffin chamber, the mist still swirls around, becoming more and more dispersed over time. Althus remains unconscious.
Tock rolls hit dice: 12. Nope, that doesn't work.. so the first roll was 2. Next 3 are: 3, 3, 7. Two more: 3, 9. Full HP, all out of hit dice now.
Tock goes back up and gets an update on the situation.
"I couldn't open the third chest, got blinded. We'll need to break it the old fashioned way."
He'll then tie up Althus's unconscious form, just binding the arms and legs, removing the weapons and shield.
"Now we wait."
Dog will help tie up Althus, and ask if they need to gag him to make sure there isn’t spellcasting to worry about.
