Erric uses half his movement to stand up and briefly looks at Ebokk trying to protect Anafrey, of all people which the bard finds absurd, and his broken, battered body emits an actual, real-life chortle.
He also looks down at his injuries and casts healing word on himself (7hp).
For his action, against his better judgment (which would be telling him to disengage and get off the seafood buffet table), he again raises his rapier and pokes it at the crab in front of him that's most damaged, and if none are, the orange one.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric stands and utters a few healing words to himself as he thrusts his rapier at the (orange) crab. The bard finds satisfaction as the pointy end pierces the creature.
The (gray) crab attempts to pinch Maldorn again. (Claw attack: 21, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) The hunter bats the claw away with one of his daggers, but the creature goes in for another try with his other claw. (Claw attack: 22, damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) The creature is able to land this hit, but because that claw is damaged, it does half as much damage (3) as it would have. (Acrobatics: 23) As the creature's giant pincer is closing around him, the old man is able to wriggle free.
1=Anafrey, 2=Ebokk: 1
The (green) crab attempts to hit Ebokk. (Claw attack: 4, damage: 3 bludgeoning damage) The dwarf jumps out of the way, but here comes the second claw. (Claw attack: 15, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) (fumble roll: 6 — 1=Anafrey, 2=Ebokk, 3=Pink: 2 & Claw attack: 14, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) (Athletics: 18) Ebokk ducks under the (green) crab's second claw, but he stands up too quickly after it passes, and the craw swings back, knocking the dwarf by accident, actually.
1=Erric, 2=Ebokk: 1
The (orange) crab also attempt to clamp down on the shield dwarf. (Claw attack: 12, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) The first attack is too slow, but it tries again with its second claw. (Claw attack: 18, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage — forgot to do it at disadvantage: 5) (Athletics: 21) The second claw smashes Ebokk on the head, causing the dwarf to throw up his arms involuntarily, which lifts the claw above his head before it can clamp down. The dwarf is seeing stars.
1=Erric, 2=Ebokk: 2
The (pink) crab always wants a piece of Ebokk. (Claw attack: 7, damage: 7 bludgeoning damage) The creature's first claw is batted away by another swinging claw. (Claw attack: 10, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) (Fumble: 1) The (pink) crab hisses at its neighbor and jabs at Ebokk with its second claw. Its exuberance causes it to lean too far forward. Ebokk is able to dodge the attack and is left with the perfect opening for retaliation should he choose to use it.
1=Erric, 2=Maldorn: 2
Finally seeing its chance to grab hold of Erric, the (red) crab attempts to clasp him within his claws. (Claw attack: 9, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) The bard is able to dodge the first claw. (Claw attack: 6, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) He knocks the second claw away with his rapier.
Maldorn winces at being pinched but looks at Erric and his much more dire situation: "How are you doing, Seric?" He attempts to stab Gray twice, mid sentence:
-> Dagger vs. Gray: Attack: 14 Damage: 7 piercing.
-> Dagger vs. Gray: Attack: 15 Damage: 4 piercing.
"Also," he adds, "it's about time you start hitting these things, Ms. Jambiya!"

(OOC: Really sorry about my slowness on posting. I am not making a good impression. I must have missed the notification while at work and then got distracted. Sorry!)
Anafrey would growl in frustration at her inability to land a blow with her broken rapier. "I'm not drunk enough for this..." she would grumble as she thrust the rapier and dagger towards the crab once more.
OOC: Wreckzors, you defeated the crab with your first blow. I won't allow you to reroll your bonus attack, but would you like to move?
The (green) crab lifts its claws, preparing to attack as Anafrey releases a growl in frustration. "I'm not drunk enough for this!" she grumbles through gritted teeth as she thrusts her broken rapier at the crab once more. She catches the creature under the chin, the jagged remains of the blade cutting a messy hole in the creature's soft under side. She pulls back, and crab juice gushes forth. The creature's claws made a weak attempt to bat the huntress away, but it just kind of sinks to the sand and stops moving.
Round 5: Jambiya (inspired), Ebokk (ADV VS Pink), Erric, crabs (Gray and Orange damaged), Maldorn, Anafrey
Map still good, except Green is dead. Anafrey might move.
Anafrey would pull the rapier from the creature and protect her face from the spray of liquid before circling around the group of crabs, Moving quickling along the beach and kicking up sand behind her as she scrambles into position (i11, I think I can get their without prompting any AOO)
Jambiya growls, "Leave Erric alone!" and she charges the crabs, howling.
Move: She will move up behind the crabs as close as she can get (right behind orange, in the last posted map) using a Bonus Action Nimble Escape to not incur an AOO if she needs to. The intent is to be as close to as many crabs as possible.
Action: She will use Fey Presence to try to frighten any crabs within a "10-ft. cube" whatever that means. Wisdom Save vs DC 12 (sigh) or they are frightened of her until the end of her next turn.
OOC: OK, Jambiya, Anafrey moved to I11, which is the square "behind" Orange, so you can't move there. I'm going to move you to H9 instead to affect Orange and Pink.
Jambiya growls, "Leave Erric alone!" and she charges the crabs, howling. She moves as closely to the (pink) crab as possible. Her howls cause the (pink) crab, (orange) crab and Anafrey to look at her and react with surprise. No longer is Jambiya the beautiful creature she normally is inside and out. There's something magically frightening about her visage for the span of about three seconds, but the affect is long-lasting. The (pink) crab begins shivering and can't turn away from the little goblin girl.
Ebokk's eyes continue to move between the (pink) and (orange) crabs, ready to dodge any oncoming attacks. He was a little disappointed that Anafrey left his cover, but as Jambiya comes near, he looks ready to protect both her and Erric with his shield.
(OOC: I don't think Ebokk's read the Player's Handbook section on dodging very recently...)
If Erric's eyes weren't already bugged-out in terror about the crabs trying to eat him, Jambiya's exhortation and reckless advance makes them double in size. He's terrified for her and also gobsmacked that she is trying to protect him of all people.
"Also her! Leave her alone! Actually all of us! Leave us be!" he shouts at the crabs, only 36% of him expecting a response.
He looks around for a nanosecond, and fruitlessly wishes he was somewhere far away from these crabs. He tries to nod at Anafrey opposite the orange crab from him, but he can only see her legs underneath the crab, and realizes she can't see him at all, nod or not. So he just looks for an opening to poke it with his rapier again, feeling useless.
Attack: 11 Damage: 8 (Erric as a halfling gets to roll natural ones no matter what, so here's another attack roll: 20)
Even though he can't see Anafrey, he tries to raise her likely hungover spirit with with some encouragement. "I've never had giant crab legs, have you? I hear they're low in crab-ohydrates. I think you are totally crab-apple of defeating them." (He inspires her, unless the puns are too much and she refuses on general principle. Add a d6 to any roll in the next 10 minutes if you want, after you roll, and before you know the result.)

"Also her!" Erric shouts. "Leave her alone! Actually all of us! Leave us be!" He turns and gives a nod to Anafrey before realizing she can't see him, but Erric lunges toward the (orange) crab between them, hoping to land a solid blow anyway. The crab moves at just the right time — how lucky — and his weapon pierces the underbelly of the crustacean. The creature stiffens, and as the bard pulls his blade free, the giant crab collapses to the sand. The movement catches Anafrey's attention, and she turns to look at Erric over the body of the now-dead crab. "I've never had giant crab legs, have you? I hear they're low in crab-ohydrates. I think you are totally crab-apple of defeating them," he says with a weak smile.
The (gray) crab tries two more times to crab-handle Maldorn. (Claw attack: 4, damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) (Fumble: 9; WIS save: 6) The fire attack misses. (Claw attack: 23, damage: 12 bludgeoning damage) Maldorn deftly dodges both claw attacks.
OOC: Not sure what has made the above unhappy, but all the rolls appear to be right. I deleted the next rolls, but it's still giving the manipulation banner. We'll continue in this post.
The (pink) crab makes a tentative attack against Jambiya. (Claw attack: 13, damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) (Acrobatics: 14) Despite its timidity, it snatches up the tiny green girl in its claw. It attempts to bash her over the head with its other claw. (Claw attack: 6, damage: 3 bludgeoning damage) And it succeeds.
1=Erric, 2=Maldorn, 3=Anafrey: 1
The (red) crab once again attempts to apprehend Erric. (Claw attack: 11, damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) (Acrobatics: 14) The creature's claw does quite a bit of damage, but the halfling is able to dance out of the creature's grip rather gracefully. The second claw comes in as well. (Claw attack: 9, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) The bard, despite his grievous injuries, is able to deflect the second claw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing his colleagues defeating crabs left and right, Maldorn's mood gets reinvigorated: "At this rate, we'll have lunch for the entire ship soon enough!"
He then notices that Red seems to be turning towards Anafrey after just bashing Erric a bit more. The old ranger does not waste the opportunity, temporarily disregarding Gray and its pestering claws:
(Is it too late to have Erric use another charge of his lucky feat and have the crab reroll its attack to see if the new one is lower than the 19?)
(Also does Ebokk actually have his warhammer with him? I see it unequipped on his character sheet, and I feel like Erric would have glanced over there once or twice during this battle to see what's going on.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Definitely not, Erric. Reroll of first attack: (Claw attack: 12, damage: 7 bludgeoning damage) So, Erric suffered no damage from Red and is not grappled.
"At this rate, we'll have lunch for the entire ship soon enough!" Maldorn cheers. He then turns his sights on the (Red) crab and goes to work, carving two deep gashes in the creature before it can react. "Finish it!" he yells at Anafrey while pointing with a gooey dagger at the (red) crab.
"Holy Hel! What is wrong with your face!?" Anafrey would gasp as her companions visage changes and becomes terrifying for a moment, Shaking off the sight, she would thrust upwards towards the underside of the red crab from behind as her white hair blows in the breeze.
Anafrey's first attack misses, but the second leaves a slight cut. Anafrey skewers the (red) crab, dropping it, then turns and swings her dagger, leaving a small cut on the (pink) crab as well.
(Anafrey remember you are also inspired!! Apologies if I could have been clearer on that, Wreckzors... I know you're still getting used to how we run this game so you may have missed it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jambiya, currently being held tight by the (pink) crab, which is using its other claw to bash her upside the head, turns feral again, her fingers seeming to elongated into sharp stakes, dripping something that hisses as she strikes at the crab holding her!
Attack: Attack with Primal Savagery, 11 to hit, for 7 acid damage.
Erric uses half his movement to stand up and briefly looks at Ebokk trying to protect Anafrey, of all people which the bard finds absurd, and his broken, battered body emits an actual, real-life chortle.
He also looks down at his injuries and casts healing word on himself (7hp).

Maldorn, you're up!
Maldorn winces at being pinched but looks at Erric and his much more dire situation: "How are you doing, Seric?" He attempts to stab Gray twice, mid sentence:

-> Dagger vs. Gray: Attack: 15 Damage: 4 piercing.
"Also," he adds, "it's about time you start hitting these things, Ms. Jambiya!"
Maldorn's first dagger misses its mark as he focuses too much on talking. The second dagger, however, leaves a lasting impression on the creature.
Anafrey, you're up!
