OOC: Got it, thanks -- had no idea there was this discussion about what the spell can and can't do!
Erric scrunches up his face in confusion at the effect of the spell and begins singing a discordant melody under his breath in frustration, casting dissonant whispers on the bugbear, inflicting 10 psychic damage or half on a successful WIS 13 save. On a failure it also has to use its reaction to run away from Erric.
On the western edge of the "camp", Jambiya fires another green white blast of energy at the archer she can see. The small target nimbly steps out of the way, and Jambiya moves 25 feet southeast, trying to find cover, but has no luck.
At the same time, Erric sings a discordant melody. While the others pay it no mind, the bugbear squints its eyes and shakes its head. It gives a small roar of protest, then turns and marches 30 feet north.
Maldorn, you can make an opportunity attack.
Ebokk swings his warhammer at the retreating bugbear. (two-handed warhammer attack: 15, damage: 3 bludgeoning damage) The dwarf is just a hair too late, and his swing makes no contact.
Anafrey, the bugbear has stomped north further into the dark. You have an idea where it is, so I'll allow you to roll another roll (for disadvantage) to use what you posted, or you can pursue the bugbear so that you are closer before firing (no more rolls needed).
Maldorn swings his dagger at the retreating bugbear, but like Ebokk, he is unable to connect.
Anafrey raises her bow and aims. Then, as the creature disappears into the darkness, she closes her eyes and listens for the sound of its footsteps. She lets go of the string and is rewarded with a muffled twunk and a grunt of pain from the creature.
The bugbear then marches back and swings its morningstar at Maldorn once again. (morningstar attack: 13, damage: 17 piercing damage) The hunter dodges the attack.
Ebokk swings his hammer again at the tall beast. (two-handed warhammer attack: 19, damage: 11 bludgeoning damage) The heavy head makes contact with the creature's chest and ends its life. "We did it!" the dwarf exclaims.
Round 4: Maldorn, archers in the west, Erric and Jambiya, Anafrey, Ebokk
(OOC: Sorry for the delay and thanks for rolling that opportunity attack on my behalf. Unfortunately, Maldorn is now at 0/4 attacks in this fight... sigh).
"I'm glad one of us can hit things tonight." Maldorn says to Ebokk airing out a bit of his frustration. Unable to see the archers from afar in this darkness, Maldorn looks into one of his many pocket and whispers: "Its time for you to do your part, buddy, since I can't seem to do mine."
Bonus Action: Transfer Hunter's Mark to an archer if Maldorn can see it.
Movement (Sagitta - movement commands require no action): Fly 60 feet west to meet the surviving archer (in the direction Anafrey and Jambiya are shooting). If able to find an enemy (blindsight 10ft), Sagitta would get within melee range temporarily, flying to safety afterwards (Flyby feature).
Action: Order Sagitta to attack the archer attacking us -> Flyby Bite: Attack: 19 Damage: 7 (of which: 7 is poison damage and 1 is piercing damage).
Maldorn, you don't see either of the archers. It's too dark to the west.
Sagitta flies 60 feet west. He can see a goblin archer 10 feet further west. Maldorn doesn't know this. What does Sagitta do? Since he cannot attack, he can dash ahead, stay where he is, or retreat.
A point of clarification: Anafrey shot north; that is the way the bugbear went.
Jambiya watches as the goblin she can see fires another arrow at her. (arrow attack: 6, damage: 3 piercing damage) She ducks, and the projectile skims off her back, not causing any harm. As she looks up, a second goblin wielding a scimitar comes into view marching east north of her, but when it notices her, it angles southeast in her direction. (It is 20 feet away from her.)
Erric and Jambiya, you're up, followed by Anafrey!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Plum pits!" Jambiya curses. "Two goblins over here!" Then she runs away, angling away from the scimitar one as best she can, firing a blast of energy at the archer as she goes. She is running for any cover she can see.
Move: Away from the scimitar goblin, so it hopefully can't close with her, towards any cover she can see. Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at the archer goblin. 19 to hit, for 1 force damage. Bonus Action: If they are tracking her in the dark this won't work, but she'll try to a Nimble Escape (Goblin) Hide behind cover if she finds any

Can Erric see either goblin in the dark? If he moves to where he hears them and where Jambiya seems to be indicating, can he see them? If not then his turn changes...
Erric cannot see any goblins. He first hears movement through the grass moving in his direction (but not close), then he hears Jambiya's voice, sees another blast of energy fly and hit something, and then hears what he assumes is Jambiya moving toward and south of him. From the sounds she's making, you can tell Jambiya is about 25 feet away from you, but some south, whereas the other movement you heard was some north of you and further away (like Jambiya was moving away from the other moving creature).
Erric will move toward the other noise, using his full movement, looking into the brush for any sign of the goblins. Perception: 19
He readies a rude noise vicious mockery if he sees any goblins while getting closer or while they move around or fire arrows -- 3 psychic damage on failed WIS 14 save and disadvantage.
Bonus action: inspire Anafrey by trying to catch her eye and giving her a thumbs-up and a "you can do this!"
Anafrey would draw another arrow and slide it into her bow. With her braided hair out of her face she would squint hard into the darkness. Pointing the bow in the direction of the goblins she would grumble under her breath. "Any time you wanna help would be great ya stupid flail" Before letting the arrow sail.
Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. plus inspiration 1
OOC: You know, if one of you would just light something, this would be a lot easier.
Erric, it is still very dark, but you think you something dark moving against the slightly darker dark around it, and you make your rude noise. (WIS save DC14: 16) Though you can't see any physical reaction, you know your magic had an effect.
Anafrey, using the sound of movement and also the black-on-black contrast, you fire another arrow. Again, despite the difficulty of the shot, your projectile finds its mark. There is a groan and a whump as something falls to the ground. (Save your inspiration; you wouldn't have used it after rolling 20.)
Ebokk stays where he is, looking west a bit frantically. "Is ... is that it?"
Round 5: Maldorn, archer in the west, Erric and Jambiya, Anafrey, Ebokk
Maldorn, you're up! Jambiya saw the other goblin, but, right now, no one can see it.
Maldorn runs towards Jambiya, or at least her voice since she verbally pointed out the location of the enemy, and spends his action to light one of his torches. "Here, hit me! I'm an easy target now!"
Movement (Sagitta): Fly 60 feet west to meet the surviving archer (in the direction Anafrey is shooting and Jambiya pointed out). If able to find an enemy (blindsight 10ft), Sagitta would get within melee range temporarily, flying to safety afterwards (Flyby feature).
Bonus action: Command Sagitta to attack the enemy. Since my last attack roll was never used, do you mind using it now if Sagitta gets to attack? I'll copy and paste it in the spoiler below:
Flyby Bite: Attack: 16 Damage: 8 (of which: 7 is poison damage and 1 is piercing damage).
Maldorn runs southwest toward where he heard Jambiya's voice. Once there, he lights a torch. He cannot see any enemies, but he can see Jambiya to his east, Erric to his east northeast, and a dead goblin to his north northwest. Sagitta flies west, leaving the torchlight.
Combat is over. Sagitta returns in one more round, but no more arrows come, and you soon find the second dead goblin.
