Anafrey would smile as the others discuss the beholders. "Sounds like maybe we need to carry a few pockets full of sand to throw at this thing if we run into problems" She would add with a grin. (ready to go)

Are you still waiting until morning? Erric, Dirk fills your head with all sorts of tales. Whether he is stretching the truth or not, you don't care. You take copious notes, and your attentiveness only spurs on the human.
Erric wants to see if anything interesting came through the store, looking for obviously anything useful for adventurers, but also anything showy that a beholder might find interesting, from the tales Dirk's telling him. He'd also look for a bag of sand.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
In response to Maldorn's question, Dirk and Brunthor look at each other as if hoping the other will answer. Finally, Dirk responds, "Ah, I'd say it's close to a tenday to reach the northern tip of the Sword Mountains. Down to Neverwinter to cross the river and then head east. You could cut through the Neverwinter Wood or travel around the southern end."

Erric, Kul'ra doesn't have anything out of the ordinary available in the Welcome Exchange, but he does carry a couple of small bags of sand used to dry ink. He's confused when you want to just buy a bag, because he usually just throws them in when someone buys ink. He finally agrees to sell you a bag for one copper.
OOC: The module is set up to jump to the vault, but if you'd like, we could roll play the journey and perhaps have some encounters along the way. I'll leave it up to you.
Anafrey would stock up on rations before their trip. She had been trying hard not to drink as much after her ordeal with the flail. on a number of occasions through the day she would stand and look at her empty flask considering buying some alcohol for the road.
Jambiya re-prepares her pack a few times during the day, re-packing rations from the kitchen, checking on her magical book, looking over Dirk's maps of the region.
Finally, she just gives up and goes out front, lounging and playing with Snap.
(Happy to jump or role-play, either. We should at least role-play our meet-up with Ebokk.)

Maldorn asks Dirk: "If memory serves right, Dirk, last time we went on a quest you furnished us with some provisions. That was very kind of you and I am sure that Jambiya played a big part in convincing you to give us some food for the road. If it is not much to ask, would you be able to extend a similar kindness to our party this time?"
Dirk smiles. "I'm sure Brunthor will be able to package up a few things tonight."
Brunthor gives Jambiya a warm smile. "Of course I will."
The next morning, Jambiya has been given a satchel with the equivalent of 16 rations. The party leaves, heading south on the road to Neverwinter. You arrive around midday on the third day. Do you want to do anything in Neverwinter while you're here?
I'm think you could have one combat encounter on the way. This module is mainly puzzles, so this would give you a chance to try out any new combat abilities. What do you think?

Jambiya is thrilled that the others are game despite the threat of googly-eyed horrors.

Ha! Amazing.
Maldorn smiles in agreement.

I believe we agreed to wait until morning, so we could supply up and whatnot.

Maldorn votes for waiting until morning too. He asks: "How long of a trip is it?"
I say we wait until morning.

"Hmm... Sounds like we'll have to hunt along the way once again" Maldorn concludes.
(OOC: I'm happy to RP the trip. Perhaps we could do so at a fast pace?)

Happy to jump ahead! Erric now has two bags of sand. He stocks up on rations.

(@DDP: A combat encounter sounds good to me.)
Sounds good to me!
