Maldorn answers after a sigh: "I'm starting to lean that way too. Whether he is doing it on purpose or is simply delusional, he is stalling for time. We have little of that to waste. Perhaps we should ask him one last question, something like 'would you like to join your brother?' could do it."
"Yeah, I think it would be polite to ask, at least," Jambiya agrees quietly. She clears her throat. "Excuse me, Raman, sir. Would you like for us to free you, so you can rest?"

Erric's stealth for his whisper: 13
Erric, having made his way back to the group, whispers, "If he's not going to let us out, then maybe we have to win some contest or battle him to get to an exit. I've had fun here, but I don't want to live here forever. Do we put him out of his misery to join his brother, as a surprise?"
At the conclusion of Erric's whisper to the group, the skull begins emitting bright light, which is very noticeable in the dimly lit room. "Who is that?" Raman asks, both curiosity and anger coloring his voice.
Maldorn answers Erric after a sigh: "I'm starting to lean that way too.
"Free?" the skull responds, still glowing brightly. "Rest? Join my brother? Grath is gone. I am here and will be here. Soon. Soon I will be here again. Here for always. Guarding our treasure. Our pitiful treasure."
Ebokk shrugs, We have given him the chance to help eachother but hes just lost his marbles it seems.
Holding his shield firmly he walks closer to the skull. Perhaps we should set him free.
Ebokk will grab whatever treasure is close to him and start to pocket it. We will help you pack up, you can come with us. Come with whats left of your treasure.

As soon as Ebokk touches the first treasure (before the others really have a chance to do anything else ... I'll let Jambiya get five feet further back), the skull screams, "NO!" and releases a blast of thunder at Ebokk that also (inadvertently) hits Erric.
Ebokk CON save DC13: 20; Erric CON save DC13: 8
Thunderwave damage: 7
Ebokk feels the magic wash over him, but he is able to withstand much of it. (-2 hp and his ears are ringing) He instinctively releases whatever piece of treasure he was starting to pick up and grabs his hammer. Erric, on the other hand, a bit distracted by Jambiya's sudden movement back toward the door, isn't prepared, and is hit from behind by the wave of thunder. Maldorn feels the invisible halfling thrown against his legs.
Round 2 (Round 1, everyone but Raman was surprised): Erric (invisible), Maldorn, Raman, Ebokk, Jambiya
He casts phantasmal force to make Raman's skull see and hear his brother Grath appear behind him, raging and carrying on about how he was the stronger brother, and trying to grab the last of the treasure.

Not seeing Erric until he casts a spell, Maldorn says a bit late "Erric, stand up. We have a fight on our hands."
The ranger then spreads out as he had intended (to K-7 or as close to it as possible but still in row 7, depending on how you rule diagonal movement.) While he moves, Maldorn thanks Erric for the inspirational musical note and weaves some magic in his words. As a result, Raman is now marked.
Finally, Maldorn draws an arrow and shoots -> Longbow: Attack: 14 Damage: 14

Jambiya steps into the room and then Raman goes crazy(er). She races up the wall next to her to separate herself even more from the others, and fires a blast of green and white energy at Raman.
Move: Up the wall at F6, perhaps to G6 if she can make it on 30' of movement? If she has more than enough, she'll stop at G6 anyway. Action: Cast Eldritch Blast at Raman. 12 to hit, for 3 magical force damage Other: If that hits, add 4 to the damage for Fury of the Small

Erric moves to the corner and turns to throw a spell at the sparking skull, his invisibility fading. He feels the magic take hold in the creatures ... mind? Then, wasting no time, he throws a bit more magic Maldorn's direction.
Already moving the opposite direction, the hunter thanks Erric for the boost and pulls on the weave himself, creating a link between him and what remains of Raman. Finally, once he reaches the far wall (J7), he fires an arrow at his target, which is turning to face the opposite direction. The arrow hits, but almost bounces off. He can see it did some damage, but not as much as he had hoped.
Facing away from Jambiya, the skull hisses, "No. No! You're not real! My brother is gone!" And, again, there is a huge noise, except this time, it is greater. It is ear-splitting. Ebokk involuntarily slams his fists against the sides of his head to try to block the sound. (Ebokk, make a DC13 CON save or take 17 thunder damage, half on a save.) At the same time, several of the remaining pieces of treasure break or crumble. "Our treasure!" the skull screams.
Ebokk, you're up! Jambiya, I'll use your pre-post unless you want to make any changes.
Assume the green star is the location of the phantasmal force - the hallucination of his brother. I honestly didn’t expect that to work and from the roll, it probably shouldn’t have, but I’m going with it!
DM how much interactiveness and change woujd you allow Erric to give the illusion? Could it speak to him? React to the thunder wave? Try to move forward and “attack”? The description says that the hallucination can actually do psychic damage if it’s, say, a fire monster, or if it’s a fake fall into a spike trap, or it’s a troll with a claw attack. The target thinks it’s actually taking that kind of damage but it manifests as psychic damage. Not sure if Erric can have “Grath” attack the skull with a fake weapon and do real psychic damage.

Ebokk con save 7
Instinctively covering himself Ebokk manages to fend off the full power of the sound. Still a bit shaken up by it he shouts back Only mother is allowed to shout at me like that!
Ebokk lunges forward with his hammer raised high trying to time it right to bring it down on top of the skull. WIth the momentum of the lung Ebokk streches out his shieldarm as well to smash the skull with it trying to knock it back away from the treasure.
Movement: None unless the shove succeeds then to J3 to stay engaged Action: Warhammer Attack: 13 Damage: 8 Bonus action: Shield master shove 9 vs Athletics or Acrobatics to knock it to K3
Yes, the star is the illusion. Mobius said it was behind him and trying to grab treasure, so that's where I assumed it was. Mobius, the spell says "An affected target is so convinced of the phantasm’s reality that it can even take damage from the illusion. A phantasm created to appear as a creature can attack the target. Similarly, a phantasm created to appear as fire, a pool of acid, or lava can burn the target. Each round on your turn, the phantasm can deal 1d6 psychic damage to the target if it is in the phantasm’s area or within 5 feet of the phantasm, provided that the illusion is of a creature or hazard that could logically deal damage, such as by attacking. The target perceives the damage as a type appropriate to the illusion." It does not say that you can move the illusion, so I'm going to rule it does not. It doesn't say it takes an action or a bonus action for the illusion to attack, so I'm going to say it doesn't. So, since the skull continues to believe that the illusion is real and has been shoved back within five feet of it, if you want it to, the skull can take damage. You didn't really specify that when you created it, but we'll go with the flow. You did say it was raging, so that could easily escalate into attacking.
Ebokk lunges forward with his hammer raised high trying to time it right to bring it down on top of the skull. He succeeds, landing his blow against the floating skull. With the momentum of the lunge, Ebokk stretches out his shield arm as well and smashes the skull with, knocking it back away from the treasure. (K3)
Jambiya steps into the room and then races up the wall next to her to separate herself even more from the others. (5 feet to F5, 10 feet to F6, 15 feet to get on the wall at F6, 20 feet to go up 5 feet, 25 feet to go up 10 feet, 30 feet to go up 15 feet. So, you are at G6, but you are 15 feet off the ground.) Growling with her tiny goblin girl fury, she looks "up" and fires a blast of green and white energy at Raman. It hits, causing the skull to bob a little.

Okay! Totally follow your lead on that, and your explanation makes sense. Let's say it tries to hit the skull with some piece of phantasmal treasure. "You were always weaker! Look at you, an absurd floating skull, protecting nothing, wasting even the beholder's time! You're better than this, Raman!"
Erric, wide-eyed that the ruse seems to be working, takes advantage of the skull being distracted, and fires his hand crossbow at it.
Attack: 18 Damage: 8
With his bonus action, he calls to Ebokk some drinking song's chorus he's heard in every bar on the Sword Coast: "I get knocked down, and I get up again, you're never going to keep me down..." which translates into a healing word that heals him for 5
