Phantasmal force psychic damage: 2
Erric, wide-eyed that the ruse seems to be working, takes advantage of the skull being distracted, and fires his hand crossbow at it. Unfortunately, just as he is pulling the trigger, the skull recoils as if hit by something, and the bolt flies by without striking. Not letting the miss distract him, the bard sings a little more life into his comrade.
Maldorn smirks at Erric's tune as he continues to move toward the opposite corner from the halfling. Once he reaches it, he turns and releases a held arrow at the sparking skull. The projectile is well-aimed. It pierces the skull, tears through it, and continues on the other side. There is a series of small popping sounds and the skull explodes. As the pieces appear to turn to dust, a disembodied voice says, "Thank you."
The light that the skull had been producing has died away, so in the flickering light of the wall-mounted torches, you see a small pile of treasure, which looks less tidy that it did previously, and your three companions. The only sounds are those produced by your own breathing and movement.
Erric nods at Jambiya, still a bit wide-eyed. He begins grabbing treasure and shoving items at his friends to make sure to get it all. “No doors in here? Dead end? Do we need to run all the way back? They said 2 hours, right? We should go!”
Jambiya rushes down the wall to the treasure pile. "That's a long way... maybe we just need to talk to one of the beholders?" She's taking a moment to pick out anything that might be magic items, rather than just grabbing coins and gems.

Ebokk will make sure he also takes the skull as well as any treasure the others have not taken already.
Well it looks like we did a good thing here. We set Raman free. His tale should still be remembered.
Looking around Ebokk will try to see if this really is a dead end room with the only way out being to return where they came from. Or do they see another way out?
The treasure is now ... the broken and shattered remains of what once were carvings of some cold-weather location in what appears to be bone or ivory, two pearls, six rolled-up scrolls, a cloak that appears to be made of some kind of glossy black material, a shield that bears the same emblem as the door (cloud with three lightning bolts), two daggers that look similar to your rapier, remnants of what was once a coil of silk rope, and a potion.
The skull is gone. Blown up. Disintegrated. Evaporated.
As far as anyone can see, the only entrance/exit is the way you entered.
As you are picking up treasure, there is a quick rumble, and some dust sifts down from the ceiling in a few places around you.
"I think we should start moving."Maldorn says worryingly. "Perhaps the most detailed-oriented among us should spend a minute or so searching the walls for potential secret passages/exits, but we should otherwise just start running. Here, I'll help look."
Erric makes sure to grab the scrolls, the cloak, the pearls, the potion, the daggers, and the shield, if no one else has grabbed them. (I'm assuming everyone's grabbing things, so he's playing mop-up.) And if he can, he will quickly grab the rope and even more quickly sweep up the ivory/bone. Sparing no more than a round, really. Leaving the broken stuff if it's going to take more than that.
He moves quickly toward the passage where the party entered, hoping the entrance is back. Retracing steps, and relying on Jambiya to shout out the path over the puzzle tiles in that room. Looking out for any beholders. But trying to sprint out of there. He's all out of inspiration and he's helping his friends as they go.
As Ebokk moves to pick up the skull he sees it is no longer there. Shame, coulda given you a home.
Seeing the shield in the pile Ebokk will put his own shield on his back and carry the one he finds since he seems to be the only one to use a shield. He lets the others pick up the rest while he admires it.
We should get these things to Waterdeep. Im sure mother would be glad to see everyone. We could share our tale and see if these treasures are worthy of a great adventurer like Raman.
Erric, Ebokk and Jambiya descend upon the small pile of treasure and quickly pick everything up. (You can sort out who gets what later.) Maldorn and Jambiya then scan the walls one last time for any sign of a door or window or secret passage, but they see nothing. Deciding their best bet is to head back the way they came, the party hurries back through the large doors. About a quarter of the way up the looooooong passage, there is another small tremor, and more dust falls from the ceiling. Halfway up the corridor, there is a stronger shaking of the corridor.
Everyone, make a DC8 acrobatics check to see if you stay on your feet.
Maldorn smirks at Erric's tune as he continues to move toward the corner at O-7. From his new spot, the old ranger shoots another arrow.
-> Longbow: Attack: 25 Damage: 15
He considers asking Sagitta to join the fray but decides against it for now, as he is not yet aware of the enemy's full capabilities.
-> Arrows shot in this encounter: 2

Combat is over.
Jambiya blinks in the sudden aftermath. “Is that… is that it?” She looks around for anything else that might be happening.

"I... did that?" Maldorn says a bit incredulously while examining his longbow. Then, absentmindedly, he helps the others collect treasure.
"You get your own song when we're safe, Big Spoon!" Erric calls to the ranger.
Jambiya lets out a stifled snort and keeps on looking for treasure.

Jambiya sweeps up the shattered pieces of bone and ivory into her backpack, then if the others haven’t picked them up, the cloak and daggers.
She glanced around before and did not see an exit, but she will take one more glance: Perception 21
If she finds nothing, she will begin running back with Erric, looking for the beholders, too.
