"I see the hourglass! We are just about out of time. Fly, you fools!" Maldorn continues to run as far as his old legs will allow him (120ft) and Sagitta remains fixed on whatever is happening behind the hunter.

Ebokk ducks down a bit with his head and tilts his shield slightly behind him as he hears the noise behind him get louder. He keeps running and making sure he helps anyone that might fall down. Trying to stick close to Erric.

The Vault is a constant rumble now. Rocks and dust are falling everywhere. The floor, walls and ceiling are no longer smooth. Just after Jambiya runs by the giant hour glass, it topples over, shattering into a million pieces and spilling sand everywhere. The darkness has overtaken Ebokk and Erric. While Ebokk's darkvision provides some safety, Erric feels like he is running toward the light that remains ahead and just hoping he doesn't catch his toe or turn his ankle on something he can't see.
Ebokk and Erric are in the tunnel between the shattered hour glass and where they met Rose. Jambiya and Maldorn have left the hour glass room and are running toward a dead end — the dead end where they began this crazy journey.
Next two turns! Maldorn, you are 15 feet from the dead end. What do you do with your two rounds? Jambiya, you are 40 feet away from the dead end. Erric, 100 feet will take you exactly to the dead end, but if Maldorn and Jambiya are standing there, you'll only be able to move 95 feet. Ebokk, you're 105 feet from the dead end.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Keep going!" Maldorn runs and slams his body on the dead end, trying to time it such that he and Jambiya hit it at the same time, in case they need to bust through it. Since he doesn't need to dash this time around, Maldorn will attack the dead end wall with his daggers if it turns out the it is indeed solid and if busting through doesn't work out. Sagitta keeps an eye about and Maldorn asks him to rely on his blindsight as they near the dead end and communicate telepathically if he discovers anything.
And now ... what I hope is an acceptable amount of creative writing ...
Maldorn, in the lead, grits his teeth and squints just a little as he runs headlong toward what is clearly solid rock. Managing to keep his eyes open, despite what his brain is telling him is going to be a very painful crash, he is one anxious heartbeat bearing down on solid stone and the next looking out at a sky tinged with orange, but mostly awash with purples turning to black. He puts on the brakes before tumbling down the embankment and can't help but smile. Turning around, he looks at the side of the mountain — no opening visible. He's about to step forward again when Jambiya runs full speed through the wall and straight into him. Through a combined effort of grabbing onto each other and dancing around a little, the two stay upright on the relatively short landing.
Erric and Ebokk are running through the hourglass chamber and almost too distracted by running through the mess of the broken glass and scattered sand to see Maldorn disappear through the end of the passage ahead. Almost. Ebokk gives a little confident chuckle, the side of him that was sure their unspoken plan of escape would work winning out over the other half of him that was sure they were trapped in here forever. He gives a little verbal encouragement to Erric, assuring him that they're almost safe. Erric's sight is getting dimmer and dimmer by the second. The end of what little magical illumination is left is following Jambiya up the corridor. And as the little goblin girl follows Maldorn into seeming nothingness, the two pulling up the rear are plunged into utter darkness. Erric gives a little gasp. "I can't see!" he cries out. His dash involuntarily slows, but almost immediately, he feels Ebokk grab the back of his belt. "I've got you," the dwarf assures him. "Just keep running." But almost immediately, a stone falls from the ceiling and catches Erric on the shoulder, knocking him off balance. "Gah!" the halfling complains as he begins to go down. "Just keep running!" Ebokk grunts, lifting hard on Erric's belt while now holding his shield up in the air above them. The halfling, bent 90 degrees in what would be a tumble, continues to put one foot in front of the other as his companion keeps him on his feet. The bard is finally able to recover his balance, and he leans back and just keeps running, relying on Ebokk for guidance. "Almost there!" Ebokk reports, a smile creeping into his voice. Erric can't help but grin a little. *CRASH* Something huge falls right behind them. They feel rocks bounce off their backs and the air becomes thick with dust. Struggling to keep from coughing, Ebokk pushes himself and Erric on and on and ...
There is a last crash, or at least the beginning of one, and then the bard and the fighter are looking out at a darkening sky, and all of the chaotic noise is cut off abruptly. Immediately, hands are grasping them from the sides: a seasoned hunter's hands full of nimble fingers and an enchanting goblin girl's pint-hoisting hands. Ebokk and Erric's forward motion is arrested before they can launch themselves down the mountainside.
You can take it from here. The mountain is solid, and as soon as you were out, the noise from inside became inaudible. Nothing else came out. It is sundown.
Erric slowly catches his breath and looks up into the sky with an amazed expression of relief. "That was just as dramatic as I feared. Hoped?" the bard says, eyebrows furrowing, and then looks to the rest of the group. "Everyone okay? Even Sagita? If he is, maybe he can take a look around to see if there's any of those other adventurers nearby who heard all that. Whew! That was one crazy skull. Literally. I think I'll have to come up with a thrashing ballad to tell the tale of this one."
He checks to see if they dropped any of the treasures from the last room. There would be time to identify anything interesting on the walk back. (OOC: I forgot if we even had horses, don't see them mentioned in a quick search, so assuming not.)
Once she is sure everyone is safe, Jambiya flops to the ground, sighing and giggling. "That was... fun!" Then she picks her head up. "Snap?" she calls out.

"Give us a minute, yes?" Maldorn says in between deep wheezes. "I thought I was going to crack my skull against that wall!"The old hunter does very little other than catch his breath for the next several minutes.
Then, he eventually tells himself: "I need some tobacco..."
As for treasure, I'll say you still have everything you picked up, but I'm not sure who has what. You four can hash that out.
Jambiya, you wait, but receive no response from the tiny dragon. But, having only been gone two hours, it's not hard to think he's hunting somewhere not too far away now that it's getting dark.
Just a reminder that Ebokk's campsite is available a little ways away. It's about to become treacherously dark for Maldorn and Erric.
Here's an incentive to sleep: You all will level up during your next long rest.
Jambiya sits up. “Wow, it’s only been a couple of hours, but it feels like a whole day. That was exhausting. Let’s go find the campsite, we can hash through the treasure and get some sleep.”

Once they reach the campsite, or a minute before Beast Sense ends, whichever comes first, Maldorn will do as Erric had asked and tell Sagitta to fly high and about in search of the adventurers we rejected two hours ago.
Jambiya uses her magic to help flavor the food Eric is cooking. She’s tired, but in really good spirits.
(Treasure interlude: it looks like we overlapped in our choices, but DDP said we could still have all the things we said we grabbed, so by my research that is:
Shield - Ebokk Six rolled up scrolls - Erric Two pearls - Erric A cloak made of some kind of glossy black material - Erric A potion - Erric Remnants of silk rope - Erric Two daggers - Jambiya Broken and shattered remains of carvings of some cold-weather location - Jambiya)
She takes the third watch shift, also for better use of her dark vision, as the fire will have died down by then.
