Dustfinger steps back into the hall just before the place where he set off the cold trap. He declares loudly this is where the cold trap was. He advises no one test it to avoid freezing one's nuts off. Dustfinger brings back the dancing lights, and they dance for him, within the appropriate range of each other but spread out as far as possible to gain maximum viewing of the hall.

We should try this tactic I heard of. This one guy, almost completely naked save a blue thong and a stick would investigate every step in order to ferret out traps. And since no one wants to take initiative, this is how I'm proceeding. 17Perception and I'm going to try and inspect every square block before I step on it! 3
Dirk gets through the rest of the hallway without incident. He peers through the doorway into the next room. To the North is a set of doors completely blocked by rocks. Along the South wall is a doorway to another room and straight across is another small hallway that turns sharply South.

Dustfinger follows Dirk and nods to the ruined portal to the north. "That looks like something our Goliath friend could put his back into." Dustfinger moves carefully north along the eastern wall, watching for anything amiss.
The rocks block the door from top to bottom, with some spilling out into the room. There is no way of knowing how deep the cave-in is, or how long it would take to do, especially with the lack of mining tools or earth-moving magic.

None of you notice anything amiss or traplike in this room.
Az Emberi looks through the South doorway which reveals a room about the same size as this one but with no other openings. He sees no traps in that room either.
Fjolnir walks to the east hallway, along the way observing the room and using his familiarity to see if he can gleam any useful historical data from the stonework. Stonecunning History 16
He approaches the hallway carefully and peeks around the corner to get a sense of what the corridor leads into. Perception 24
The SE hallway opens up to another 10' wide hall with an opening to the East and one South. You can see into the room to the South, and there is some type of raised platform with two steps up. You cannot see beyond that, as it is the edge of your darkvision.
Fjolnir:
You know already that this is very old construction based on what people have told you. Adding that to what you see, this looks to be several millennia old, unlike any construction techniques used today, and probably by a high-magic civilization.
I cast invisibility on myself, because I can... and I'm ******* awesome like that. I walk down and peer down the east hallway, and I'd continue down south.... because I mother******* can.
The Eastern room has a North alcove with another doorway in it. Dirk continues down the hall unseen by even his party members, while Dustfinger stands where he was and sends dancing lights down the hall, unknowing if they are in front of or behind Dirk.
Dirk can see, as well as Dustfinger with his longer ranged darkvision, that the Southern room's raised platform looks similar to where a church altar would be, but any altar that was there is long since gone.
Dustfinger notes the platform, thinks there might be either a trap or a hidden door associated with it, based on a tiny bit of experience and a lot of assumption and imagination.
"Hey, guys, I bet there's something up with that platform down there."
Dustfinger waits for other visible party members to show similarly visible interest in anything.
Wow Hymir. Nicely done. I'm not the type to look for such things, I'm impressed.

Investigate the rocks to see the feasibility of clearing the way. 12

I also go inspect the alter
Fjolnir walks into the hallway and peers into the room with the suspected altar listening for anything active or animated, living or constructed.
