"His son's name is Victor. He said some horrible things to my daughter, and that is what drove her mad," the lady of the house replies. "It started not long after she started seeing him," she says.
Roselina had heard her, thinking and not remembering meeting any men named Victor. "Ah, that is a shame. Men can be so cruel and disgusting with how they treat women, especially those who are entitled and spoiled rotten. What does Victor do? I would assume that when you spoke to the Burgomaster of this, that he refused to believe it and wouldn't apologize or discipline his son. What is your daughter's name?" she then said back to her, feeling sympathetic for the daughter and disgusted by Victor.
"Stella," Roselina replies. "As to what Victor does, he hasn't been out of the burgomaster's house in months," she adds. "So, nobody really knows what he is up to, but whatever it is, must be demented," she adds accusingly.
Roselina hears this, very surprised. "Months? When was the last time he was out of the house and what had he been doing? Speaking of demented, I imagine that you must also not be fond of Strahd then?" she then said back to her, thinking. Could Victor have a connection with Strahd possibly?
"I'm not sure, he just wondered toward the church," the woman replied and then when you asked about Strahd, her face goes cold and she says "Strahd has never and will never by my enemy, though he has... become a little negligent recently," she tells you.
Roselina had heard as he wandered toward the church, surprised. They never came across a Victor when they were there earlier, wondering if the priest would know anything about him. Then she was very shocked to hear the woman say that Strahd is not her enemy, confused. Wait, so she is a supporter of him? Then why did Madam Eva say that she is one of the things they needed in order to stop Strahd? How can they possibly benefit from someone that works with their enemy? "Oh, my bad. What do you mean by negligent?" Roselina would then reply back to her.
"Sort of like a landlord who has just left the place to it's own devices," the woman responds. "I feel he has let people get away with too much, personally. This burgomaster and his insistance of celebration, and death to those that don't attend. Our family cringes at the thought of such things, yet we must attend to keep up appearances. I would not miss the burgomaster should something happen to him, that's for sure," she goes on to say.
Roselina had listened to her, thinking that this must be why she was interested in how she told the gardener to kill the burgomaster. "Ah, so that must be why you wanted to have a chat then. Why not hire someone to kill him or discreetly do it yourself since you work closely with him after all?" she then said back to her. Considering how the burgomaster is against Strahd, it would be a benefit for both this woman and Strahd to have the burgomaster taken out.
"The Gardner? What happened to the Gardner, you talk of the one at the church?" Lady Watcher asked. "I only donate to the place, as to what happens there, I have no say. The coffin maker, now he bought his fate upon himself. He agreed to house his guests, he made the deal, and not with me. One thing that I can garuntee is that when Strahd makes a deal, he keeps his word and expects the other party to do the same," Lady Watcher explained coldly with no remorse or sadness at his loss.
(OCC: Roselina was thinking about the gardener, she didn’t say anything about him out loud and completely ignored her question about the burgomaster. Also, wasn’t this supposed to be the woman who had confronted her by the church earlier and is the mother of the two sons she talked to at the tavern before? I had specified that we were going to see her, going by where the woman said that her home is at.)
"I had nothing to do with that gardner, I was just passing by. My concern is only with the burgomaster, and his pointless celebrations" the woman responded. "And I have a reputation to maintain, I can't go around committing murder," she laughed. "Besides, the town are starting to tire of his endless parties, so I won't have to do anything - the people will riot if he continues, and my work will be done for me," she smiled. "And I will have what I desire, without dirtying my hands."
It is then when you hear the sound of hammering outside.
Roselina listened to her, nodding back. "So you're just waiting for the town to turn on him then. Smart plan." she then said back to her. But then she was surprised to hear the hammering outside. "Do you happen to have someone working on your house, by chance?" she asked the woman, wondering why someone would be outside hammering now of all times.
"No..." the woman responded curiously to the hammering. "Though I think I know what is going on," she said as she made her way outside. As she comes back in, you hear the tearing of parchment.
Roselina had heard the woman, seeing her go before quickly come back and ripping something. She had heard Vrak, nodding back. "Yes, what was it that you had received on your door?" she then asked about it as well.
"Another poster for the festival of the Sun in two days, the Burgomaster is telling his men to put them everywhere," Lady Watcher says with a sigh. "This is the third one I've torn down from my door," she says.
As she comes back in, you hear a significant amount of hammering before she shuts the door, sounds like these "posters" are being put up wherever possible.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Just before the lady returns quil leaves the study and enters one of the closets once he hears the door to the study close he attempts to sneak up the stairs and look for anything tying this woman to Strahd.
Roselina listened to the woman before hearing more hammering as she sighed. "Oh my, this is utterly absurd. I can completely understand how all of you must tire of his nonsense." she said back to her, feeling really sympathetic to the city now. There is no way she would stand for this sort of ridiculousness happening by someone supposedly in charge.

Vrak remarks when the woman returns.
