Chatra fell about 20 feet. Using the map in this comment he is in the middle square at the bottom of the first staircase from the top (it has about 8 stairs). You can make it almost to the top of the stairs on your turn (it will take half movement to get up from being prone.
The rope is at 1,2. The rest of you are spread out across the top of the platform towards the back wall of the ravine (away from the stairs). The rats would have came from the debris piles nearer the campfire. This is a small space (25x20), so remember movement is slightly restricted unless you're trying to parkour off the walls.

With his lute in hand he yells at rat #3 you smelly rat, get back in your hole vicious mockery4 (dc13 wisdom save) and then shouts words of encouragement to Alten let these foul beast feel the wraith of Torm!! giving him some bardic inspiration (you now have a 1d6 you can roll and add to a attack roll, saving throw or skill check in the next 10 mins SDC ;))

The rat chitters in pain and tries covering its ears with its paws to block out the mental damage being inflicted upon it. Alten’s chest swells at the site of his small friend returning safely to the group.
Another giant rat[#2] attempts to bite Grom. Attack: 13 Damage: 4.

Refusing to be bite a second time Arixus turns on her heal avoiding the yellowed fangs of the overly large rodent. Grom, however is still looking between Talien and Rees in disbelief as he feels a set of tiny fangs sink into the flesh just above his ankle.
Rees is up.. all of the giant rats are within striking distance of ranged attacks, or can be reached with your movement.

Growing up in city slums, Rees is somewhat familiar with rats (though these are bigger than the ones she grew up fending off). Unslinging her bow and knocking an arrow, she shoots at the rat #1 attacking Arxius.

Rees, still annoyed by Talien's groping and needing to hit something plants her back foot and fires her arrow, hitting the rat in its still open mouth just as Arxius moves away from it. The force of the arrow actually pins the rat to the ground. She shoots a significant look at Talien (that he probably doesn't understand) and then turns to ready another attack for the next rat.

Did I do something bad? I do not understand, do your races not like being touched? Arixus' first axe spins through the air gleaming in the afternoon sun. It strikes the giant rat's midsection cleaving it in two causing a few drops of blood to spatter Chatra in the process. The last giant rat hugs tight to Grom's boot and Arixus' second axe flies passed it.
