So, remind me how Rees' shifter works? Alten knows nothing about Rees' ability and as far as he knows she doesn't have any magic that would change her? Scott isn't forgetting anything?

Do we see a Rees' size dwarf in Rees' clothes or to we see a typical size dwarf in Rees' sized Rees' clothes?

Alten points his Glaive at the strange dwarf.

Talien pulls out his greatsword and moves to the side of the dwarf in Rees's clothes/possessions. Why are you wearing my friends things and have her stuff?

(You see a regular sized dwarf, because both are considered medium-sized creatures, in Rees' clothing, which has always been baggy on her -- sleeves and trousers rolled up so that she can shift if needed) 

Rees rolls her eyes. "It's Rees - I couldn't get through the bakery so I decided to try to be sneaky another way. Stop pointing that thing at me, Alten, and lets follow that guy, right?"

Would shake, being a shape changer as well, recognize what Rees really did?

 You might not know exactly how she did it because there are multiple ways to change form.. but you may suspect her to be kin.

Alten is happy to Help with investigation, but putting clues together isn't his thing. More of a man of action than intellect.  ;)

As a great bard, I am of course practiced in dressing up and playing a part. You haven't seen me do it because I haven't had the need to do anything so extravagant in quite a while. But let me be clear in two things: One, my skills in disguise where considered to be unparalleled among the dwarfs and elves who raised me, and Two, I am VERY impressed with your skills. I thought I was the only one capable of such mummery in our party. Clearly we have more in common than I originally thought." Looking to the rest of the party Shake says, "These newly discovered talents of Rees bode well for our joint capabilities and likelihood of success."

 Meh.. I'm not going to hold us up longer for the check.. if you look long enough you'll find a manhole obscured behind a pile of debris and litter from the adjacent shops that has been yet to be removed this week. If you look down into it it appears to lead into a dark sewer.

Talien while picking up his ball bearings all over the alley moves the litter around and sees this manhole. He says Altens name and points at it. Then returns to finishing up the collection of his ball bearings (I assume I would lose 5% of them)

 "Uh... thanks?" Rees said, looking slightly uncomfortable. "I don't usually make a big deal of it and there hasn't been a reason to need to disguise myself so far. Lets just...keep going, yeah?"

"Don't be embarrassed." Shake says to Rees, beaming. "It's truly a breathtaking skill. I'm sure being able to appear as a dwarf will help us fit in when we get farther into the mountains."
