"I'll take that." Oz picks up the dead man's spellbook and places it in his satchel. "Anyone want his knife? He used it for blood magic, so it might be magical. I can't tell yet." He bends down to remove the knife still in its sheath without actually touching knife itself. He also mentions the rings on the ceiling and the hidden door.
"Ah, no. I'm all good there." Imani looks at the knife with distaste. "Let's head back to home base- I'm beat."
Oz shrugs and pockets the knife for future investigation. He then immolates the bodies, but only after doing finger guns. "Double barrel." He winks at Imani while putting in his ear buds to listen to some tunes. "My Ferrari's out front."

"“Next time, Master of the Caster servant, do not expect such friendly terms. And you, Imani, I’ve saved your life once now. Do not expect it again.” In an instant, the floor flashes as both he and Lancer teleport away."
Sarai looks up at Imani. "He's gone, dear. We should try this door, it may lead us directly out."

Sarai looks up at Imani. "He's gone, dear. We should try this door, it may lead us directly out."
Eyebite finally drains from imani's sclera. "Right behind you. I don't think Lord I-refuse-to-acknowledge-when-I've-been-helped would attack us right now, but they're are two pairs and maybe the Archer still to worry about."
Caster only shakes his head and follow Oz. He brings the remaining motes of starlight close to his head, so that they are essentially weaving between locks of his hair as they orbit his head, before he becomes invisible once more.
As you open the door, you see that it leads to a small alcove. The room itself, while small, is beautifully decorated, despite the clearly ancient nature of this whole complex. Perhaps the magic that sustains the guards for this place also prevent deterioration. The focal point of the room is a pedestal with a deep crimson bottle placed in it. The bottle exudes a tangible heat.

"I bet it's what anchors the magic here." Oz shrugs. "I can't dispel it or disintegrate it right now. Give me a few hours, and I might be able to. I can see magical auras if you give me ten minutes, but it won't tell us anything we don't already know."

Caster’s eyes turn white as he meditates. After examining the bottle, Caster shakes his head and his eyes return to normal. “This bottle, it contains an Efreeti—an evil, magical being from the plane of fire. A powerful weapon this is in the hands of an enemy, but also potentially deadly to use ourselves. We would do best to safeguard it and never use it.”
"Why would this be here? Did it belong to redford, or was he unaware of it?"
She brings a hand to her temple. "We should walk through this crypt and check for victims who have returned to their original forms. I'm guessing that at least some of Berserker's watchdogs were human."
Sarai stands, stretching. "If nobody wants the knife, I will take it. It should be in the hands of someone who will use it when it needs to be used."
If nobody objects, she takes the knife.
She will then look to the way we came in. "I will go send a message to Father Popov that the deed is done, and that the church is needed to secure the scene. And the survivors."
Then she heads back up to the surface. Still in hybrid form, taking care to keep herself hidden, she coaxes a small sparrow to take a message to Father Popov by casting Animal Messenger. She describes the church, and the garden where she found the priest, but instructs it to enter the church if he is not there. She describes him (can we assume I scrolled back through the messages and found his description and posted it here?) and then recites her message. "Father, this is Sarai. Berserker is done. Below name of nightclub. Survivors present. Cleanup needed. Sending two birds."
Then she will find a second sparrow, and do it all again, because she's cautious that way.
Then she returns to the area below.

As Sarai heads upstairs, she finds that the whole building, and a bit of the surrounding area, as been decimated by what seems like bombardment. No actual humans seem to be injured, but you see fire departments, police, and various others all seem to be gathered around. They do not see you peak out your beak.

Sarai returns to the basement complex. “It may be that our cover story is already in place.” She explains what she saw. “Best leave it to the professionals of the church, I guess. Shall we hunker down and wait the Muggles out, or try to sneak past? Or Caster, do you have it in you still to teleport us out?”
Imani and Dream hop from sleeper to sleeper, attempting to reassure them that all is well and they will be home soon.
When she returns, she stretches her arms overhead and announces, “I’m beat. Let’s take our fire genie and get going. If there’s a debate happening, then I vote for whatever Sarai suggested.”
Oscar's eyes narrow at Imani's comment. "I'll have you know Caster is almost out of mana. If he teleports us, it will hurt him. Despite what you may think, I'm not a ******.
