Kaori pants heavily as the rocks hit her but manages to stay afloat. Her eyes flick to the others as Caelius retreats, then fall on Taran as he darts further in.

"We are...fools." She chirps softly to herself before flying to be above the dragon, failing her first slash but feinting her second attack and digging deep, raising her shield to prepare for retaliation.

Vishal and Taran miss. Akuma hits twice, and Kaori hits once.

"All very well for you. But the Guardians don't do any of that," Siepha says bitterly. "And the minute I go off to have a life of my own, they send you to drag me back for execution!" Lightning arcs across the cave, striking Vishal and Akuma.
Vishal and Akuma both need to make a DC 15 Dex ST or take 11 lightning damage.

Siepha then turns on Akuma, attacking her. If Akuma goes down, Siepha will switch to Kaori because Books doesn't feel like inflicting auto-fails today.

Kaori closes her eyes and focuses, brilliant light coming from her sword and surrounding her body to close some of her wounds. She then attempts two more slashes with her sword, but the dragon's movement throws her off and she fails to draw blood.

Vishal growls as he says, "We need to retreat!" As he does another powerful thing of lightning blasts through him. He attempts to retaliate with three rays of fire along with his flaming fist Spiritual Weapon but just whiffs all the way around. He then back away towards the exit at f17.

Akuma quickly dives out of the way of the lightning, only to be hit by one of the dragons swipes. With an annoyed wince and heavy breathing, Akuma narrows her eyes at the dragon, moving to strike at it again.

Frowning as she can't seem to cause any damage, she gives a quick glance back towards the cave exit, eyes landing on a shadowed edge of the wall. Shadows begin to build and swirl around her whole body, engulfing her form in pure darkness as she gives a final glare at the dragon. Within moments, the shadows completely dissipate, Akuma seemingly gone for a moment before the shadows against the wall flicker and her form reappears. With a pained huff, she places her back defensively against the wall to gain some cover while watching the others with worry. 

 Caelius disappears and runs.

I cast invisibility and run 30 feet.

"W-We w-w-were s-sent by th-the Road!" Taran yells, working his way down next to Vishal, snapping a shot off over Kaori's shield.

"W-We came b-b-because y-y-you s-s-sided w-with R-Riedra! W-We w-worried y-you w-were br-brainwashed, controlled. W-We d-don't e-even w-want to f-fight. D-Don't g-go b-back to the G-Guardians, f-find s-s-some place f-far a-away i-if it m-makes y-you h-happy. B-But d-don't t-turn to their evil. D-Don't w-work for th-them to pl-place sh-shackles on others. Y-You c-c-can't f-find happiness and f-f-fulfillment by stepping on the n-necks of mortals, by ex-extinguishing the f-freedom for us t-to ch-choose."

Taran rips out his last major healing potion, throwing it over Vishal's burn wounds, growing new skin to replace what he had lost. (Vishal heals 21 )

Part of the ceiling above Taran collapses, but the rogue manages to fall aside before being buried in the rocks.

Siepha growls. "This isn't about your war. If I cared about your war, I'd have brought the tunnels down the moment you came in, so you could be taken. I just want you to leave me alone!" She launches herself into a flurry of attacks against Kaori.

Caelius continues to run (60 feet of movement this time!).

"We... just wanted... talk!" Kaori takes the first attack on the chin, swatting the other two aside with her shield. "You wanted to... left alone... could've come to... agree."

Kaori then punches the dragon on the snoot, using the moment of confusion to quickly fly backwards towards the others, downing her other healing potion as she goes.

Taran comes up from his roll, sighting down his crossbow, but as everyone retreats he hesitates, then lowers it.

"D-Don't b-be naive." He says, pulling out an salve-soaked bandage and wrapping it around the scorched sections of his skin. "Y-You th-think o-one of th-the Q-Quori sh-showed u-u-up o-out o-of th-the k-kindness o-of th-their h-hearts? Th-They w-wanted t-to t-twist you, u-use you. Th-They w-w-were n-not offering y-you fr-freedom, a-away from the w-war, th-they w-want t-to en-enslave e-everything, an-and th-that includes you."

Taran warily backs up down the mouth of the cave, ready to dodge in a moments notice.

"Y-You d-deserve your fr-freedom. A being a-as m-magnificent as y-you d-deserves m-more th-than their t-twisted pl-plans to u-use you and br-break you. Y-You h-hate t-talk, b-but I d-d-do n-not kn-know h-how el-else w-we c-can c-come t-to understand e-each other. I-I d-do n-not w-want y-you t-to f-fall pr-prey to th-them, D-Daughter o-of the St-Storm. S-So pl-please, a-at th-the v-very l-least, d-do not st-stay here. Vishal moves to leave completely however he stops just short (e19) seeing as Taran hasn't left yet he instead tries a more direct approach with the rogue sending him a telepathic message, "This is a direct order Taran, retreat now! No talking just run!"  Not fully leaving the cage until the others book it out Vishal takes a defensive stance (dodge action) and waits for Taran and Akuma at the moment, his spiritual weapon swinging around the dragon to attempt to keep her occupied with that. 

Akuma keeps an eye on Taran, maintaining a steady position in order to dodge if needed while waiting for him to get past her out of the cave. "We've said our piece Taran. Let's go! We can discuss it later."

The entire cave starts shaking, rocks beginning to fall. "Get. OUT!" Siepha roars, lightning crackling around her jaws. "Or I will bury you all."

Anyone who moves closer to Siepha this turn will need to give me a DC 16 Dex ST.

Anyone who is still in the cave at initiative count 20 on the next round will be in deep shit. That's a scientific term.

Taran bites his lip, everyone yelling at him to leave, but.... He looks up at Seipha again. The power, the grace, her inner lightning crackling around her head like a ancient crown. The thought of her falling into the darkness tugs at him.

"P-Please, don't let th-them c-c-control you, D-Daughter of Storms." Taran pleads one last time, as he turns and walks out of the cave.

You all race through the shaking tunnel, just managing to tumble out as a rumble shakes the mountainside and the passage collapses behind you, leaving behind a wall of rubble.

You five are left battered, alone, but alive, on the mountainside, the storms raging around you.

Taran silently leads the way to the cave they had hunkered down in before, beginning work on camouflaging the entrance, making it harder to spot if the dragon leaves her lair.

Caelius sighs a silent breath as the group returns and signs to Taran,

 He realizes he is invisible and reappears. He signs the phrase again. His motions slow and shaky.

"W-We s-s-survived," Taran answers, "B-But, th-that... I-I d-d-don't know w-w-what our n-next m-move sh-should be. I-I d-d-don't kn-know h-how to g-g-et through t-t-to her."
