Akuma studies Jade-lin during the conversation, arms crossed simply, before nodding. "If you need, I can assist in helping some of the troupes practice their hand to hand combat. Otherwise, I will stay out of your way."

"What are you guys talking about, we destroyed a monolith in progress before surely we can help them destroy one." Vishal says with a smile, "I can ask the Trailblazer if its okay tonight." 

"Fane-Ro can show you where to go for the alchemy work, and hand to hand combat," Jade-Lin says to Taran and Akuma.

At Vishal's words, Siepha goes deadly pale, eyes widening.

Jade-Lin raises an eyebrow. "You're being actively hunted by the Inspired and you think it's a good idea to go running back into the fire while it's still roaring, and stoke the flames to boot?"

"Bad idea ... Not strong enough ... Go home." Kaori tweets out hastily in a panic.

Akuma's gaze quickly shifts to Vishal. "You know... I'm quite the advocate for chaos and spontaneity. But even I have to admit that would be a death sentence if we get caught. We spent days avoiding them. It seems pointless to just run directly to them now." She pauses for a second, studying Vishal. "I'm not against helping them out around here before they leave, but running towards people who are actively hunting us does not sound like a good plan. Although the rest of you are more than welcome to if that's what you want."

Caelius signs,

 Taran hesitates, then speaks up, "W-We c-c-could d-d-do it. With th-the b-bombs an-and E-Esteemed V-Vishal's F-Fire a-a-a s-squad w-w-would b-be d-d-devastated i-in s-s-seconds. A-Also, Hon-, um, M-Miss J-Jade-Lin's tr-troops w-w-would s-still b-be th-there, w-w-we'd b-b-be ass-assisting th-them."

His gut was clenching and he felt queasy, looking between each member of his... of his friends, "Th-They w-w-will al-always b-be h-hunting us, th-they hunt u-us in Adar. Un-unless w-w-we pl-plan on qu-quitting the R-Road, th-this is n-no m-more d-d-dangerous th-than th-the n-next m-mission w-w-we a-are s-s-sent on. W-We aid o-our all-allies h-here, an-and w-w-we k-keep th-the f-f-focus sp-split b-between th-the N-North and th-the S-South."

"I-I v-v-vote w-we d-d-do it."

“We are the Summit Road! This is what we do, this is what we agreed to. To save people from the Inspired. To help liberate those under their influence. Not to run and hide every time they pop their heads up. We have a chance right here, right now to help free people from their control.” Vishal voice is serious but full of passion as he tries to convince his team, “We’re in the Tundra the number of Inspired here aren’t as many at probably ever less if they’re all out looking for us. It’s the perfect time to land an attack. And we’re stronger than we were before. I don’t want to keep running and hiding. I want to fight.” 

"They're all ... looking for us ... Hunting us ... If they're alerted ... Reinforcements ... Too many." Kaori shakes her head, looking up at Vishal with pleading eyes. "Running towards people who are actively hunting us ... Bad idea. Jade-lin ... Has a plan ... Doesn't need ... Help."

"K-K-Kaori," Taran places a hand on her pauldron, "Th-They w-w-will al-always b-be h-hunting us. An-And y-you a-a-are r-r-right, M-Miss J-Jade-Lin does n-not n-need our h-help... B-But th-that d-d-doesn't m-mean w-w-we sh-should not h-help. Th-The P-Path of L-Light i-is a-a-about d-d-doing g-g-good, al-always, es-especially wh-when y-y-you d-don't n-need to. Th-That's wh-what m-makes p-people l-like you and Sim s-s-so special. Y-You g-g-go out an-and h-help p-people."

Taran looks around to the others, "I-If th-there a-a-are t-t-too m-many t-to att-attack s-s-safely, th-then w-w-we w-would r-retreat. J-Jade-Lin and the Ak-Akaik a-aren't pl-planning a s-suicide m-mission. W-We m-may n-not e-e-even b-be th-the m-main a-assault f-force, b-b-but I w-want to h-help th-them. W-We n-need al-allies ag-against the Ins-Inspired, b-but to d-d-do th-that w-w-we h-have t-to b-b-be allies f-f-first. An-And i-if th-there a-are t-t-too m-many, th-they w-would s-s-sound th-the re-retreat an-anyways."

"An-And I kn-know w-we c-can d-do this... t-together."

Caelius sighs a silent sigh and signs,

 Caelius's hands shake as he continues,

"M-Mister C-Caelius," Taran says, still keeping a comforting hand on Kaori, "I-I c-c-can't g-guarantee th-that w-w-we w-w-will b-be o-okay, th-that w-w-would b-b-be pr-prideful. B-But w-w-we w-will t-t-take pr-precautions, w-w-we w-w-will re-retreat i-if t-t-too m-many re-reinforcements c-c-come." The young man smiles over at the sorcerer, "W-We w-w-won't l-let y-y-you b-b-be a-alone, y-y-you h-have u-us, A-Arthem, an-and the R-Road, y-y-you'll n-never b-b-be al-alone a-a-again."

"L-Let u-us d-d-do w-what w-w-we d-d-do b-b-best, l-let us h-help th-them."

After a great deal of discussion, the five of you finally settle on helping the Akiak. At this point Jade-Lin, who's been watching you all talk with a neutral expression, speaks. "Well, now that you've convinced each other to do this, you need to convince me to let you tag along. Now, you're guides of the Road, and you survived a dragon, which speaks to your ability - or luck. So what can you do? And what have you done?"

"I-I-I w-w-was m-mostly tr-trained in st-stealth an-and s-survival, th-though I am a-also a tr-tr-trained m-medic an-and al-alchemist, l-like I s-s-said. I-I-I c-c-can f-f-fight to." Taran says, mentally running through their missions, "M-Most of o-our m-m-missions h-have b-b-been in-infiltration an-and ex-extraction, w-w-we d-d-d-did al-also d-destroy a m-monolith un-under c-construction."

"We've also taken down an oni and snatched an elan right from under the Inspireds' noses." Vishal says with a grin before adding, "My name is Vishal. I tend to float around a lot in battle though if I was to pick a specialty it's probably large radius magic right now. I also have magical healing capabilities and tend to easily disrupt darkness that the enemy may use. Oh, besides being a Kalashtar I can also calm the minds of those around me, keep them from becoming frightened or charmed." 

"I am ... Birb." Kaori points to her sword and armour before turning to Vishal for some help explaining. She looks a bit sad, but mostly keeps it to herself.

"This is Kaori. She gives people the bird, literally. She's a sword fighting flying bird of awesomeness. Her armor makes her very good at defending at she's just as good at attacking. She tends to try and keep people's attention on her so they don't harm the rest of us." He then smiles before adding, "Also she enjoys head pats." He tries to give her a head pat but is stopped by her helmet. 

She coos happily and nuzzles into his hand anyway, repeating his words in his own voice. "She enjoys head pats~"

Caelius signs,

Akuma listens to everyone in thought before nodding. "I'm particularly good at most things that involve dexterity. I've been trained as an up front fighter through my monastery and own practices. I can bend and manipulate shadows to my, or the groups, needs relatively well most times as well as provide a last resort healing to get someone conscious. And... I have pretty decent reflexes that have come in handy in many various ways." She pauses for a second before nodding. "Oh. I can also be very intimidating when I want to be."
