There sure are a lot of curtains,Burgee thinks to himself as the group enters the eastern chamber. He continues to hold the fog just behind them as they enter the room to obscure anything that may be looking from behind and moves into the room. "I'll watch our back," he whispers to the others, "Are we rushing through behind those two?" he asks as he points to the two hobgoblins to the north. He watches to see what Paavu and Rose will do before deciding if the fog needs to be shifted into the northern room beyond the curtain.

Daring not even to whisper at this point (assuming such was even possible) least the group be over heard, Paavu just nods curtly and whips his hand forward. Almost faster than the eye can see, the broad spear in hand sailed for a killing course upon the closest hobgoblin. Then in the ensuing confusion, he himself barreled forward, whipping out his flail mid-stride to either finish the job or strikes down the next hob over. Although if already at near head scrapping height for his near eight foot self, he channels a bit of the giant magic latent within into increasing his strength twice fold!

As previously stated once the door opens Rose charges in, running in between Paavus legs and heading for the nearest Hob. Not even hearing Burgee or Paavus whispers, partly out of the fact no sound came through and party because she was once again not paying attention to anything but the fight. Once in range of the nearest hop she swings her hammer with both hands in a wide sweep at the back of its legs. Attack: 13 Damage: 9
Burgee only hears the words in his own head as he's still within the silence bubble. As soon as the door opens, Rose charges in, attempting to attack but in her excitement, she slips on a loose stone, and the attack is lost. Paavu following up, his spear sinking into the side of the closer hobb But its pained flinch moved it out of the way of the followup.
Burgee, seeing that he was still within the silenced bubble, charges forward, trying to brain the hobb now....but he nearly trips on the stumbling Rose, and his attack is lost even worse as the weapon strikes the ground.. suddenly realizing he could hear again.
Lark, sighs, watching this perfectly good ambush going to waste before his eyes. A tragedy if he ever saw one... With his crossbow, he fires at the hobb everyone had been trying to take out but Rose and Burgee stumbling near each-other, lark had to shift his shot too much, and it clattered against the wall above it's head, harmlessly. Lark moves out of the silence bubble himself, and gives Paavu bardic inspiration.

'Second Verse, same as the first!'Paavu thought as he brought the flail around once for a feint, a second time... for another feint! Then during the third time slows from the goliath's perspective. Within that moment, he once again saw the specter of the future, guiding his strike for a neck snapping slap of the flail. 'I see it!' He thought as time resumes, and with a minor adjustment of his wrist, brought flail along the predicted path of success on the unsuspecting unharmed Hobgob.
Reaction: Uvar rune on next attack, granting advantage.
Action:A Flail-of-a-Time. To Hit: 23 For: 12 non-magical bludgeoning damage to undamaged Hobgob.
Rose was starting to get annoyed at not being able to hit anything it seemed. Looking to take her frustration out on one of the hobs, she rushes over to the injured one, swinging the hammer with both hands at the poor basatards groin Attack: 19 Damage: 12
Any chance of talking?, he asks himself, But then he shrugs. He holds up his staff and calls upon the storm, then reaches out to the nearest foe with an electric charge in his hand in an attempt to subdue the hobgoblin. All the while maintaining his concentration on the cloud that guards their rear. But he finds that to be more difficult than he had hoped so he does nothing but to attract the attention of the creature, with the same little shock one would offer a friend from a static charge on a cold winter day. (Attack: 6 Damage: 8)
Paavu breathes a sigh of relief. The "sloppy" execution aside, when he looked down to Rose, it felt as if the group were beginning to come together. Feeling his enchantment beginning to wane however, he is nothing, if not quick to focus up on keeping the momentum. To that end, believing there to be more awaiting in the north, he puts away his flail once more in favor of digging out his Yklwa. As he did so...
"Two for two so far. We press north, clear remaining hostiles, then double back south and do the same. Then, we sweep up the outlying guard in the other areas before pressing back into the center."He whispered, and then after peeking past the northern curtain adds, "Fog where is for now. Distraction there. Little flower. Trust you when know to summon quiet zone again."At that, unless the peek had yielded more in the way of spying or being spied by an enemy, Paavu tries to creep past the immediate northern curtain from the group, yklwa in hand and ready to skewer a gob.
Paavu pokes his head through the curtain, to spot nothing except for a door on the side of the wall to the right. However, as he's about to pull his head back in to let everyone know that the room was clear, he heard, just barely, the faintest shuffling of feet just around the corner where he hadn't quite had a chance to look yet....
When the hobs fall Rose breathes a sigh of relief at finally being able to feel useful. She rests her hammer on her shoulders as she turns to Burgee and Lark. Well that was fun wasn't it? She says in a low voice then turning to regard Paavu she nods. I'll check the other corridor, if I see any enemies I'll make sure their screams for help are unheard. After saying the last bit Rose gives a fake wicked smile before a real smile takes place and she laughs at the charade. Heading the the corridor she hadn't checked Rose attempts to remain stealthy and readies herself to cast Silent Horror at the first sign of enemies.

Wary and distracted, Paavu appears to only just catch the meaning of Rose's words after she moved to leave. By then, it felt too late. So, pulls back the shield arm meant to cut her off, and just mutely gestures for the other two(Lark and Burgee) to follow her. As for the goliath, unwilling to waste a moment more, he passes through the curtain with his Pig Sticker in hand, and practically ready to race around the corner and stab the first expected goblin seen beyond it!
Reaction: Uvar rune on next attack, granting advantage.

As soon as Paavu turns around, he no longer notices that Rose exists. She heads south, along the cots down the small crumbled hallway, enough wall that you couldn't leave but enough debris to make it annoying if she got too close to the edge. A single torch lit this hallway at the far end, revealing a door, not that she needed it with her night vision. She made not a single sound as she approached it. Dust settling from the roof as the area is suffused with a mixture of light and dust. As she approaches, she see's that on the door is a sign that says 'Danger' written in both goblin and common.
Nadaar comes around the corner like a bolt of lightning, stabbing where he expects the goblin to be, and connects, unfortunately the goblin survives, if only just barely. It attempts to cry out, it's voice being heard down the hall by rose... does she trigger?
Rose stares at the door for a moment. "Danger" could have said "welcome come on in" and it would have had the same meaning to her. But hears the start of a scream and snaps her fingers muttering quit your whining at the source. The scream would be instantly muted as silence one again engulfed the room Paavu was in. She sighed to herself, hoping that was a worthwhile use of her talents while staring at the door fighting the urge to open it. She finally decides to turn back and see if something needs killing still.
As quickly as it began, the scream was drown out. A bubble of silence filling the area. Burgee and Lark catching the hint and rushing in, though only lark can make it past due to the right space... And Lark makes an attack
Attack: 13 Damage: 4 Just barely missing. So he moves farther in as the goblin considers running. Burgee coming up behind with his staff... as Paavu moves to let the little bird through.
Attack: 4 Damage: 3
However, he fails too...
The goblin, seeing it's chance only to realize it's effectively trapped... with nowhere to run... and it can't hear... it screams in silence as it drops a bag of caltrops by throwing it in the air, causing them to land randomly in a 10 foot radius.

Paavu takes one look between the goblin and scattered caltrops, and just slowly shakes his head. The message was clear: Goblin Jim just ****ed up. And so with even less mercy or further displays of disappointment, the Goliath aimed to stab it right down into the ground; through shield, armor, and flesh alike.
Alhough in doing so, it's more like the spear head stopped short, crushing goblin bones through pressure alone, but not quite penetrating the armor. Regardless, he unceremoniously grabs it by the head, yanks it free of his weapon, and chucks the body off against the wall before turning to the mess at his feet.
'******* spiteful bastard' He thought, as he motioned to the door on the right being their next destination. Before then, he scraps path using his shield as much as possibly, leading up the door. As soon as the way's cleared, he outright kicks the door open at this point, and bum rushes whatever foolish goblinoid awaited the otherside. All with the expectation of the others following his lead.

As everyone rushes through the door in silence, everyone see's this chamber has been set up as a crude living space, with thick furs thrown on the floor to serve as carpets, old trophies hanging on the walls, a large bed to the north, and a brazier of coals burning brightly. A round table with several chairs stands to the south near the door. Near the table, on the floor, is an unconscious dwarf who looks badly beaten. Even with the advantage of silence, the Hobgoblin behind the door that was just kicked in, who's weapon was ready is easily visible, In the room stands a small squadrons worth of enemies.
On the other side of the door they spot a single, massive bugbear, almost three feet larger than Klarg, with a Worg sitting by his side. Next to him is a Drow woman. And just to the left of the door is another bugbear (DC 20 to spot with a perception check, burgee just BARELY missed the mark, however he did see Gundren!)
The room, is entirely enveloped in silence, and it seems that everyone in the room had eyes on the door, and weapons readied. Your next actions determine the outcome. Do you follow through with your readied actions?
There could be no hesitation. In those few opening seconds, a single one could mean the end. This Paavu knew from experience. And seeing the oversized Bugbear and Drow in the room, negotiations and mercy were out the window for the goliath. One he knew by reputation well enough to expect slavery and perpetual servitude from, and the other... the other fought dirty, but would have little interest in duels and the like for at least that sort of end. Plus with the Worg at his side, the master had to keep it fed somehow.
No. Better food then end up another's servant again. Although such poor luck in that swiftly disappearing window to strike is enough to still elicit one last grim smile out of the goliath. Alas, he could only spare a single thought of hope that the others might yet use the cloud as a means to escape if it came down to it. 'Hit them hard. Don't let them think. Don't let them bargain and lie' He thought after while seeking to drive the business end of his yklwa into the closest enemey(the hob?) to him.
And on he would continue to barrel through until face to face with the bugbear, grinning visibly past the visor of his helmet.
(All in all, keep Paavu's ready action)
