Kal is polymorphed into a donkey. Natalia bursts out in laughter at Kal being transformed. He continues talking to Niche, Well as far as instruction go there really are none, besides this. Do not allow the runes to be dispelled, or you will have a demon to deal with on your hands, and since the dagger is no longer in my hands, I bid you farewell. With that he floats back into his portal and disappears as the portal closes with an audible 'pop'.

(When you stop do you wait on the east (forest) or west (sea) side of the road for lunch?)
As you are setting up for lunch, Kal who was grazing at the time, transforms back into a human. Still with a mouthful of cud and grass. (cud is basically thrown up grass that did not digest the first time around)
Well, Natalia starts as she rolls her eyes. Only the fact that you pissed off a mage, got yourself turned into a donkey, bit Bran, and ate grass all of the way here.
Make a flat roll 1d20 Kal.
DC10 : If failed you throw up grass, projectile style. Also on a fail roll another 1d20, will be for a bit of....fun.

I'll happily take whatever you want to do, but I'm assuming that being polymorphed and changing back would negate anything harmful I ate while changed since the body is actually changed and things appear and disappear.
If it wasn't, then a polymorphed creature would only look like the animal - not have its functioning senses, abilities, etc. Think about wings or blindsense. A character polymorphed into a bat actually does those things. He doesn't just look like a bat, he is changed into a bat.

If you had failed, you would have been sick all over due to the disorientation/grass you ate. No worries though. Random chance in your disorientation to be sick on someone, but no harm no foul this time around mate.
At this point, the party has regrouped fully and shared another meal, about an hour ahead you notice that the oxen are becoming a bit slowed down due to the mud that seems to lie under the hardened crust that you walk on with ease. The cart that carries all of the supplies is starting to bog down a bit, Natalia tells the group, If this gets any worse we may be looking at a four day trip. You can see 2 sets of horse tracks fading in and out of visibility in the road, more than likely belonging to your employer and his bodyguard.
“At least we know we are on the right track.” Niche gestured at the tracks, “I wish there’s something to make the road a bit smoother but I guess we’ll just have to do the best we could.”
The amount of weight that will be lost by just one person leaving the wagon is minimal compared to the weight of the supplies and wagon itself. Natalia says, she moves closer to Bran and says, I have a few things to talk to her about, and I think that with the mage appearing from nowhere and leaving as mysteriously as he came, we need to have out eyespeeled. She moves relatively back into position, but close enough that her and Niche will be able to have a conversation quietly and also the both of them watch the side and rear of the cart during its journey.

Ow! Bran smacks Kal on the nose Bad donkey! You can follow the cart now!
Niche is giggling alongside Natalia, enjoying the scene that’s playing out, “Might as well hitch Kal to the cart so he can help the oxens out heh?”
The donkey ambles to the side of the road and starts moving in the direction the wagon was going, occasionally grazing.

I weigh a fair bit more than our little friend Natalia, I can walk if Niche wants to steer?
