I would specifically like to aim for the leg with this shot to try and wing him. DM ruling on whether I can do this at 1st level (at 2nd level, I'll gain combat superiority maneuvers but I don't have them yet) and how to roll it. Things I've used in the past: Disadvantage AND/OR some sort of bonus to AC for the limited spot I'm trying to hit AND/OR I have to exceed the AC by some amount to place the shot?
I'll add 3 to ac due to the difficulty of the shot, but if you exceed the hp he will die, now that Zandrich attacked do you wish to proceed?

No. Kal just watches to see what the rest do in this situation.
As I said, I wanted to wing him - to incapactiate/slow him. If you're ruling that exceeding the HP will kill, as opposed to incapacitating, then I won't take the shot. Mechanically, it makes no sense to take a harder shot (higher risk) for the same reward with no chance of a different outcome.

(Placing this spell with a minor time delay for effect)
The goblin now having the arrow in his shoulder begins to feel the effects of the spell Branagh casted on him. You can see his green skin start to emit a green gas from his wound that starts to fester. The goblin screams in pain and Yanks the arrow out by the top, pulling it the rest of the way through his shoulder. He yells back at you, Dis why we gonna eat dems hummie n tough one we found. He moves to duck into the forest. (Anyone else want to do anything before he disappears? That has not acted yet.)
Cain't believe y'all didn't kill it. I had ta keep mah word, but nonna y'all promised ta let it go.
Oh well, better get a move on. Hope it don't circle round or knows another way in ta rally de troops in der. Life could get a mite interesting if dat happens.

I vote to see how reliable the goblin map is. Head north and east and see if we can get around to where it is labeled Klarrg. It’s probably a bullshit map, but we won’t know for sure til we try. Plus it might actually be where the prisoners are. If the goblin thinks we just want to save the prisoners, he might have switched the Klarr & the prisoners on the map, trying to lead us into the teeth of the goblins.

“Well, time for a bit more scouting now that y’all are done with all that interrogation and fighting.” Niche straightens up from where she was leaning against the wall, watching the whole exchange and nodded to Zandrich, “Whenever you’re ready.”
(will head towards the direction labelled Klarg which seems to be the consensus here? Should we bring Bran’s light?)

Works for me also.
As the group returns into the cave, are you returning and staying on the ground floor? Or trying the path that Kal already discovered?
