OOC - assume the PCs take the needed steps to ensure these new joins are honest, and lets move on. I'd say Named is right - wait until Sandra and Number One Mook are out of the way and take the family. We can spy out the layout and gather all the information we need to proceed. If this is agreed, Thomas will Arcane Eye and map out the layout and location of the family. We can then Long Strider everyone, Darkvision everyone, and Thomas will Alter Self to look like Sandra and we can go from there.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Agreed.
Knowing that Hedwig's owl form is too well known, Sarah will swap her familiar's form to that of a common garden spider. She will then send her newly eight legged familiar to map out the PPA's building under invisibility.

Looking like Sandra should work for the casual observer but if they have a reason to be suspicious it becomes a deception vs perception contest. Are you alone? If others are with you how will they disguise themselves. Actually, Sandra goes nowhere without guards and retainers.

"So we're going for the family right? I am starting to think ye ol' survivor is just going to say, "I am a Knight of the Protectorate" or some such BS, and not answer any of our questions or give up any info," Aleistr say in a disgruntled tone of voice. "But, I suppose it is worth a try. Where are the guards?"

Fire bolt- Shoot a streaking ball of fire towards a foe and deal a measly 1d10 fire damage. Use eldritch blast instead.
Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.
OOC: Weirdly, when I checked my ipad the floorplans are displayed, but from my PC, nothing (and the link doesn't work either).
OOC: Do we also get a location for any guards or patrols the PPA might have in or around the house?
There are two pairs of guards circling the house. The front half of the lower floor is living quarters for the support staff and guards. The upper floor is for senior diplomats and VIP visitors.

He's young enough that old world is a distant memory. One things that the current PPA leadership never guessed would happen is that the post-Change generation (Changelings) actually believe all that Knightly honor stuff. To them its not just some convenient fiction to justify their control.

As the party discusses options for the extractio, Conor will add the following when appropriate
"With the patrols and guards, I still think it would be easier to target the family if it was in transit somewhere, perhaps the Senate building, but orchestrating that at a time that suits us is beyond me, unless you trust the Knight and we could convince him that we would get his family free and he could ask to see them"
"If it is decided that an attack on the house is the option to go with, then I would suggest an evening raid when Sandra and her pet are attending an event..giving us the cover of darkness and a smaller number of guards to confront"
OOC: Did the scouting mission determine which rooms the wife and kids were in? And how about guards in the house, how many on the ground and upstairs areas were seen (in addition to the4 outside)
Thomas, once he has better details on the hostages location says to the whole group including the newcomers (under the shell of a Tiny Hut) "We should convince this guy that the Knights he's been following are corrupt and working for evil, and that he should start his own order of TRULY noble and ethical Knights like the Crusaders of old. Also tell him we will rescue his family and get them to him. Now that we know where they are located, I suggest we do a bit of preparation, first. I can be invisible while attacking, as long as I concentrate, so I would be best to sneak in unseen to take out the guards. I'll knock them unconscious rather than killing them. You're right, Connor, about waiting until the big uglies are away playing or something, to make this less bloody. I think we should make this non-lethal - counting coup as it were - to make it less politically fraught. Once we are ready to go, I'll polymorph whomever wants to sneak into the house and get to the family, ahead of our assault. We take down the guards outside, then move in and deal with the rest. Once I start to move onthe guards, the polymorphed person will revert back to normal, so that will be a good signal that the flag has gone up. "
