Now the bad news. Something is wrong with my computer. When I boot all a get is a line of text to choose a drive and hit any key to continue. If I go into my BIOS before it boots and then exit the BIOS it will boot properly but there is obviously something drastically wrong. I'm going to have to do a full backup of everything (which takes hours) and then ship it of to my local repair shop. God knows when I'll get it back. It may even be new computer time as this is 5 or so years old.
I can do a lot on my iPad but it is a real pain to do full combat rounds with lots of dice rolls and multiple edits. We'll see how that works out.
To those of you in the US I hope you are safe with all the insanity spreading there.
"I'll go with you under invisibility. I can go with you under the greater invisibility or make myself and two others invisible with the lesser form. Of course, with the lesser form if we need to battle it will fall, so we'll leave the family to you. I can also cast magical flight on myself and two others if that would be useful. A clean in and out would be good," Sarah replies. "Pity we don't have teleportation magics yet."

OOC: Ouch! That doesn't sound good. I hope you get it fixed and we'll be patient.
Thomas, once he has better details on the hostages location says to the whole group including the newcomers (under the shell of a Tiny Hut) "We should convince this guy that the Knights he's been following are corrupt and working for evil, and that he should start his own order of TRULY noble and ethical Knights like the Crusaders of old. Also tell him we will rescue his family and get them to him. Now that we know where they are located, I suggest we do a bit of preparation, first. I can be invisible while attacking, as long as I concentrate, so I would be best to sneak in unseen to take out the guards. I'll knock them unconscious rather than killing them. You're right, Connor, about waiting until the big uglies are away playing or something, to make this less bloody. I think we should make this non-lethal - counting coup as it were - to make it less politically fraught. Once we are ready to go, I'll polymorph whomever wants to sneak into the house and get to the family, ahead of our assault. We take down the guards outside, then move in and deal with the rest. Once I start to move onthe guards, the polymorphed person will revert back to normal, so that will be a good signal that the flag has gone up. "
“Hmm, it doesn’t sound very convincing. The effectiveness of that is just like telling a Christian that God doesn’t exist”
“There is still an infinitesimal chance that it would go wrong? I think we need a Plan B”
Blaize frowns at Thomas when he speaks up his plan.

Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.

I think he's talking about convincing the knight that he is on the wrong side after you get his family out.
Computer update - my machine is acting very squirrelly but I can still do things - so far. It goes into the shop Thursday (probably) with the motherboard and processor to be replaced. They keep it overnight running a complete diagnostic which will hopefully mean its back and working properly on Friday.
"I can manage to obscure the group if needed, giving us a high degree of stealth" Conor can use Ki to give Pass Without Trace
"And I am able to step between the shadows up to about 60 ft, which might help taking down the guards quickly and quietly as well" Conor can Shadow Step in the right lighting.
My life is hell. The computer randomly crashes after 15-50 minutes use. I'm trying to rip some blu-rays and get a couple of episodes done then the computer crashes.
DM Note: I've looked and everything seems to indicate that your carrying capacity when you use fly is the same as usual. Has anyone seen any different?
Max "Someone said 'fly'. Could we just send a couple of (strong) people up to their room and carry them away?"
OOC: I think carrying capacity isn't affected and yes, this was what I was hoping :). Also, with fly can you still use the dash action? I've seen it used like that previously.
OOC - Don't get caught in the labour vortex, where you pay more in labor than a purchase of new equipment.
Thomas answers Max "I could sustain flight on two people, so we could send two stronger folk to pick them up and bring them back preferably someone who cast invisibility on two or more people."
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
"Hmm, it is possible to cast certain spells (OOC: range of touch) through our familiars. Perhaps it is possible for them hold the concentration on an Invisibility spell? That way we can cast our flying spell on almost everyone."
Aleister reminds folks that he can wander around on walls and ceilings with a fair degree of stealth and, that if he were under the umbrella of a Pass Without Trace spell, virtually undetectable.
"I think we need to concern ourselves with how the people we are are 'liberating' will react to a bunch of strangers, armed to the teeth, who come sneaking into their bedchambers in the dark of night, claiming to be there to rescue them and reunite them with the devoted husband/father. One would think that if he is so brainwashed, they will also be rather difficult to convince about the 'error of their ways'. This does not promise to be an easy task at any point during the event." He shakes his head ruefully, "Maybe we should just render them senseless and then, once we have them safely away, work on de-programing them. And, I rather suspect, we do not want to be around here when we do that; her *****ship is going to leave no stone unturned, no politician un-pressured." He grins broadly, "In fact, I'd say she is going to be rather pissed! Love it!"

No, "when you cast a spell with a range of touch, your familiar can deliver the spell as if it had cast the spell" - deliver the spell means touch the target. But your familiar is not casting the spell, you are, so it can't hold the concentration.

Good point. You can put a bag over their heads and carry them of. Hit them in the head - and carry them of. Spin a yarn persuasion - and carry them of. If you could cast a silence - and carry them of. Use intimidation - and carry them of.
OOC: How about I cast “Pass Without Trace”? Its one of my permanent spell scroll, which means that as long as i have concentration, the spell will not end right?

Conor chimes in when Aleister raises this "I can also create an area of silence if needed, but probably at the expense of obscuring our passage" Conor can us Ki to cast Silence but may have to drop pass without trace to do so....not sure if both can be maintained at the same time
