Rhanloi's Romp Through the Sword Coast

• Manfred fires off an acid blob into the fray, splattering the blue ghoul and making the wounds caused by Tallow to melt even more. The blue ghoul drops! Manfred then speaks a healing word for Wakka.
• Wakka makes Bite of Winter light up, then lays into the red ghoul, hitting it twice. 
• The green ghoul steps into the hole made when the blue ghoul fell, biting at Genren with sharp teeth! (Attack: 4 Damage: 11)

Dodging and ducking through most of the ghoulish blows, Genren pivots his feet and contorts his body to avoid as many attacks as possible. With his two short swords in his hands he aims to his left to attempt to finish off the red ghoul taking two quick stabs. "It's a bit cramped over here hehe, let's punch a hole through these beasties!"

• The purple ghoul slashes out at Genren again with its long, dirty claws. (Attack: 5 Damage: 10)
• Skeel watches from the upper corner of the wall and ceiling...
• The turquoise ghoul reaches out for Wakka, trying to find flesh!  (Attack: 16 Damage: 7 If hit, make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute.)

Manfred repeats his actions, ducking quickly round the corner to hurl another acidic sphere towards the central (green) ghoul, almost slipping in his haste, but saved at the last moment by a stroke of (halfling) luck, as the slip means that a poor throw actually hits the ghoul squarely in its chest... (Chromatic Orb: Nat 1, lucky re-roll to give 25 to hit; 9 acid damage)

Seeing Genren assailed, he sends out a pulse of healing towards him (10hp healed)

"Watch out, I'm gonna fry this son of a batch!" Tallow points his Staff of Thunder and Lightning and casts Lightning Strike in a straight line through the Green Ghoul and to Skeel.  He will spend a Sorcery point to make it a "Careful Spell" thus shielding his allies.

Ghoul and Skeel need a DC17 Dex save or take 23 damage

Lightning Strike. You can use an action to cause a bolt of lightning to leap from the staff's tip in a line that is 5 feet wide and 120 feet long. Each creature in that line must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 9d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Blocking the strike of the Turquoise zombie with his floating shield, Wakka continued his assault on the Red ghoul.  As he did so, he spared a glance at the "man" clinging to the ceiling.  Not liking the way he looked and lurked about, Wakka attempted to make him drop to the floor with his mental powers.

• Extra Attack: Attack (Hit 17/ Damage 12 slashing)
• Bonus Action: Telekinetic shove - DC14 STR save or be shoved 5ft towards Wakka (and hopefully off of the ceiling!)
• Movement: stay where he is.

• Tallow angles his magical staff so it will send a bolt of lightning through the green ghoul and up to hit Skeel on the ceiling...(Ghoul save: 7 - Skeel save: 17) The green ghoul explodes on a cloud of brownish-red mist, but Argus deftly skitters away from the bolt, 
• The Yellow ghoul claws at Genren again. (Attack: 21 Damage: 5)
• Manfred goes to attack the green ghoul, but as it explodes he quickly shifts his attack to the yellow one!
• Wakka feels his hand go numb as the lightning narrowly misses him, causing his first swing to miss the ghoul so badly he nearly drops the Bite of Winter! He does manage to land a solid hit on the turquoise ghoul with his backswing, though. 

Round 3: Purple :: Skeel(-11) :: Turquoise(-12) :: Tallow :: Yellow(-21) :: Manfred :: Wakka(-1) :: Green :: Genren(-16)

• The purple ghoul smells blood and tries to take a bite out of Genren...Attack: 5 Damage: 8
• Argus skeel climbs across the ceiling and drops down in front of Genren. "Now you die..." he exclaims as he reaches out for Genren. (25 to grapple; Attack: 11 Slashing Damage: 8)

(did I not get a turn this past round? and do a roll to go against the grapple? If I get a turn for round 2, I'll do the following) one attack on the purple ghoul, bonus action dancing sword to attack Argus:

(Oops! Sorry for skipping your Round 2 action! You hit the purple ghoul, but Skeel does not move until the next round. Do you want to use the dancing sword attack on the ghoul? It misses anyways =) On your turn at the end of Round 3, you can try to get out of the grapple - DC13 Acrobatics or Athletics)

Looking quickly around the corner, Manfred starts whispering, whispering, directing his attention towards Skeel… (Dissonant Whispers DC15 WIS ST for 1/2 of 9 psychic damage, and to avoid fleeing). He then directs another pulse of healing towards Genren (7hp healing).

Tallow will push past Genren and Wakka (I assume we count this a rough terrain) and moves diagonally to be next to the purple ghoul.  This will use the full 30 ft of movement.  He will then point his spoon at the line of attackers, shout "HEARTBURN!", and cast Tasha's Caustic Brew at 4th level doing 15 to anyone that fails a DC 15 Dex save.

• Tallow moves into the room and positions himself sot the undead are in a straight line, then blasts them with a caustic substance... (DC15 Dex - Purple: 13 Skeel: 17 Yellow: 6) ...melting both of the ghouls but the vampire spawn manages to didge out of the way again.
• Manfred tries to get into the head of Skeel (DC15 Wis: 20) ...but Skeel closes his mind to the intrusion and merely snarls at the party. The bard then pushes a healing wave towards Genren, staunching a lot of the bleeding wounds!

(yeah let's say it went for the ghoul as well) Genren will swivel his hips and contort his body to work his deftly work his wat around Skeel before slashing out with his short sword. He whistles sharply for his dancing sword to follow up that attack with another strike from above.

• Genren wriggles out of the vampire's grasp, and uses the distraction to hit Skeel with the dancing sword.

Seeing only Skeel left, Wakka moved up next to him and tried (and most likely failed) to hit the strange man.

• Wakka slips a little in the liquified goo that once was a ghoul on the ground as he steps forward and strikes at, but misses, Skeel.

Round 4: Skeel(-14) :: Tallow :: Manfred :: Wakka(-1) :: Genren(-9) 

• Some of the wounds on Skeel knit together, indicating he has some undead regeneration abilities! He strikes twice more at Genren with his claws, trying to deal damage instead of grappling (Attack 1: 24 Damage: 7 -- Attack 2: 12 Damage: 9)
• Party is up!

Manfred steps around the corner fully, to hurl a flaming egg-sized sphere at Skeel, where it bursts into him with a great gout of flame... (4th level Chromatic Orb - 23 to hit, 25 fire damage).

He then extends a pulse of his life-giving aura towards Genren for 7hp of healing.

'Great job guys, we're almost through this...!' he shouts encouragingly from the back...

• Tallow...
• Manfred move into the room between Wakka and Genren before flinging a chromatic orb at the vampire. He then extends his healing power to Genren.
• Wakka...
• Genren... 

Round 4 (con't): Skeel(-39) :: Tallow :: Manfred :: Wakka(-1) :: Genren(-2) 

Tallow lets out a high pitched shriek of delight as the ghouls melt from the impact of his spell.  "This last one is slippery!  He'll burn like the others." Tallow casts Fire Bolt Attack: 26 Damage: 12

Genren will attempt to pivot around Skeel creating an angle to flank his foe before taking attacking with his two swords. Elegantly bobbing and weaving as he twists his blades towards Skeel. "Surrender you fool! You will not escape, nor will you live if you keep this up."
