"Don't worry, your animals are safe and sound." Alus relays to the farmers proudly, hands on his hips and chest puffed out. Then he looks back over his shoulder at the puddle of thrown cow still in the road.
"Oh...erm...except for that one I guess. Hey, if you wanted to have one last chat with her, I could help with that. Oh, and no payment needed, for sure; just doing the Enclave's work. Though I think the winds are bringing us to Yartar next. Would you like to travel with us? Wouldn't hurt to have some extra muscle with you dudes, considering."
As he speaks, Alus casts Shape Water and makes a sphere of water spin in the air to try and help entertain the crying children.
The farmers obviously have no desire to talk with a dead cow.
"I...thank you for the offer," says the mother, after considering, "But I agree with my husband, think we need to assess the state of things before making the journey. We don't want to delay you."
The children stop crying at least, observing Alus' swirling water distraction with tear-streaked faces.
Nirzeg looks upon the final outcome of the surgery with a mix of satisfaction and mild annoyance from having done so much. Shaking his head, he brushes aside the latter, and sends off Wickerman to gather the others using some interpretive dance as necessary. In the meantime, he goes to recover the cart and bring it at least close enough to the home and away from the giant that no accidental rolling over or grab for it wouldn't damage it.
Once at least Big D. and Alus eventually make it he asks the latter, "My giant is far too rusty, so things will hing on Big D, or whoever else might know their tongue better. What we need is a better approximation of Hashtag, no... Harshnag! That was it. If the big blue fool could narrow down his last known location for us, or tell us about any recent giant activity in the area -- perhaps even what Frost Giant is in charge at the moment, these would benefit us greatly." He smiles, but it fails to reach his eyes.
"Naturally, the idea is to exchange that information for his life... Though, given the cocky one's reaction earlier, a better bet might be to die honorably in battle."Having said that, if either he or Wickerman notice any healing prepatory magic begining to be directed giant's injuries, the Gith interjects with a sharp 'hold it'. Even if not, he pauses to let the plan sink in prior to pressing on. "Of course, I have taken measures to make either difficult without cooperating first. No need to thank me, I only did what had to be done." He said, haughtily puffing out his chest. "Now, if there's no questions -- like there would be any, for the plan is flawless -- BUT, if there are none, uhm... who happens to have a giant bucket of water on hand?"
From Nirzeg’s cuts, it appears that the giant will be temporarily restrained and incapacitated. You are unsure how long it will last.
As Nirzeg asks for some water (as it has been some time now), the giant revives and lift up his head to look at his useless arms. “What...what treachery is this?” He asks in jotun. “Face me, puny weaklings! I will smite you yet!”
Alus addresses the giant directly. "All that stuff that just happened--not cool, my man. Now tell me, do you speak Common?"
The giant stares at Alus from his position on the ground. His bearded head alone is almost as tall as the elf. He speaks only in the giant language: “Flee while you can, tiny one! I will crush you!”
Derrikoth looks at the giant, mildly confused, before responding in Giant, “And what are we supposed to flee, you worthless mongrel? You’re barely half a threat, as we’ve proved.”
The giant grunts and strains, moving his shoulders, but unable to use his hands or legs. “Urrrrragh...through TREACHERY!” The giant bellows at Derrikoth. “With tricks and guile! Kill me then, if you have the guts.”
Nirzeg cracks the smallest smile, even as his hair gets blown back from all the bellowing. "Seems the surgery was a true success. I'll have to be sure to note this later." Nirzeg says in common. "I hope you are delivering pertinent counter points, Big D. I would hate to see him aggravate my work too much. Liable to make it accidently more... permnant."
As you speak, you see thick blood beginning to run from ruptures in the cuts that Nirzeg made. The giant’s eyes flutter as he starts to lose strength.
Derrikoth looks at the wounds with interest, before looking at the giant and speaking in Giant, “I’d be delighted to kill you, but we really need to find Harshnag, and if you’d just tell us where he is I can oblige you. Otherwise, maybe we’ll leave you to suffer as a cripple for the rest of your life. How does that sound?”
Derrikoth Toknal makes a Persuasion check! 1d20 (6) + 5 = 11
The giant continues to lose blood, and says in a fading voice, "Look for the giants the blood traitor leaves for dead..."
Alus: "I'm no science guy--but I think we're losing him, dudes."
Nirzeg says nothing at first as he tugged at the scraggly bits of hair on his chin. "... No. Sorely tempting as it is." He mutters as he goes over to one of the wounded arms, twisting some extension of the gauntlet. "Big D. Tell this ****er I'm revive'n. 'nd if he tries anything 'fore we have our answers, /I'll/ make sure that after we're done with him, he'll wish I left him to bleed out... Clear!" He slaps down the gauntlet sending sparks of arcane energy into the giant, stimulating failing cells.

Off the main road, along the docks, is the outlet for the Lionshield Coster.
With the rivers Dessarin and Surbarin hemming the city in to the west and south, and the hilly region precluding much expansion, Yartar is heavily populated and feels quite crowded. It is abnormal to have any single-story buildings here in the city. Most dwellings and shops are squashed together, and are built up instead of out; four stories high, in some cases.
As you arrive, the market is closing down for the day, though some shops are still open.
