Ghelryn Foehammer beats the orog off of Astra, striking in its wounded side, and then when the orcish trooper doubles over in pain, Foehammer’s axe is there to meet his face. The orog is no more.

Alus sighs in relief after seeing the blue Dragonborn get back to his feet, but his relief is short-lived, as he now sees his sorcerer ally unconscious at the feet of an angry Orog.

"Leave Fire-Fingers alone!"

The spectral anchor floats above the orog next to Othovir then drops swiftly.

BONUS ACTION: Spiritual Weapon against Orog 2-- Attack: 7 Damage: 8

Then Alus points his spear toward the other Orog, the one engaged with Nirzeg, and a sparkling beam of radiant energy fires in its direction.

ACTION: Guiding Bolt against Orog 4 -- Attack: 21 Damage: 16 and if it hits, the target shimmers, giving advantage to the next attack roll made against it.

"Don't worry, little dude. I'm coming!"

Othovir's orog dodges the spiritual weapon, fighting proficiently now against Alus' swinging anchor and Lord Protector Darathra. Othovir remains motionless on the ground nearby. 

The orog that Alus targeted with his radiant bolt is briefly illuminated, and tries for a moment to shake the glittering radiance off of himself. 

Genevieve lets out a sigh of relief seeing one of the orog's fall and the dragonborn being healed back up, yelling to the others as she moves towards Alus and Nirzeg, "I'm going to help them!"

(I'm hoping I'm counting the squares right so I can use Eldritch Blast on Orog 4, if not then I'll just be runnin on over haha)

Genny’s double blast hits the orog hard, knocking the air out of him. The warrior has been bloodied now, and seeing the fire giants leaving, lets out an orcish curse, a howl of rage.

Darz hasn’t connected with many hits yet, but he likes to think that he’s helping.

Urgala dashes to get within melee of Orog 5.

Astra attacks him twice.

Derrikoth blinks slowly as he looks up at the sky, sighing softly as he lets himself relax into the soft grass. Then he bolts upright and looks around, panicked, as he remembers what he was doing. He jumps on his horse (which uses a held action to move) and heads to Orog five, and goes at it with his lance.

Darathra clutches the wound that the Orog gave her as she sinks to one knee and then collapses, glaring daggers at it until she passes out.

As Astra engages the orog and provides a distraction, the armored warrior doesn't even see Derrikoth approaching before it's too late. The Dragonborn's lance unceremoniously ends the orog, leaving only two down south. One orog stands over Darathra and Othovir with malice in his eyes, gleeful in the fact that he has downed two combatants. Unable at the moment to tell where the floating anchor is coming from, he moves away from it, and puts his axe towards Othovir's exposed neck.

The orog follows through the bloody mess of Othovir's body by getting away from the spiritual weapon, and ends up flanking Nirzeg for his fellow orog to lay into.

Away to the east, smoke is beginning to rise from some of the homes, and screams intensify. 

The giants continue their retreat towards the hills in the north, dashing now instead of dodging, seeking to put more distance between themselves and the defenders of Triboar.

As Othovir draws his last breath, he reaches a hand towards the strange elf he's been fighting along.

"Elf. Please... please tell my story."

Another strike from the orog, and Othovir is no more.

Alus is stunned for a second as he watches Othovir slaughtered. His normally quizzical expression becomes sullen, and then, stern. Angry.

"Stay with us, Lord Protector! Valkur isn't done with you yet!"

BONUS ACTION: Healing Word on Darathra, healing her for 5 hit points.

Alus turns his attention back to the orogs.

"But the wind doesn't blow for you anymore, buddy."

A wreath of blue radiant energy forms around Orog 4 and then explodes in a burst of blue radiant flames.

ACTION: Sacred Flame on Orog 4, DC 14 Dex save or suffer 4 radiant damage

MOVEMENT: If slain, will circle around to the other side of Orog 2 to flank with Nirzeg.

The tusked warrior shrugs off Alus’ sacred flame and keeps fighting...

Zeek quickly exceeds the distance limits of the telepathic connection between Nirzeg and himself, but can follow the giants as long as he likes.

Nirzeg battles on against the orcish troopers, but neither is giving ground. 

Josephus (Horse) moves to within 10 ft of both Orogs, then holds his action to move to 5 ft after Derrikoth strikes.

Derrikoth stares wide-eyed at Othovir’s lifeless body before letting out a weak battle cry and charging the other two Orogs.

Darathra climbs weakly to her feet, nodding thanks to Alus, before pointing her greatsword back into Triboar and calling out to the party, “The people! Please! You must help them!”

The remaining orogs are beginning to weary, but even so, they are able to withstand Derrikoth's horseback assault. 

Darathra has called for aid for the people! How do you respond?

Astra and Urgala rush to the aid of the townsfolk.

Despite the distance, Genevieve and Darz could hear Darathra's pleas to help the people. The construct nods in agreement and follows Astra and Urgala to aid where they were needed, Darz could be seen chasing after them as well.

The orogs are enheartened by the lack of reinforcements, and press on, continually changing their tactics, roaring their orcish battlecries. 

 The two orogs gang up on Nirzeg, laying into him as the perceived greatest threat, what with his tactical spellcasting and mirrored images. They make use of their flanking against him.

Derrikoth tosses his lance to the side and draws his longsword, laying into each Orog. If they drop, his horse will dash into town.

The duo must have really gotten the wind knocked out of them during their battles as their rush to help the townsfolk wasn’t as fast as they would have liked it to be.
