Margret looks on at the antics of her friends and shrugs thinking caution is kinda boring ( May I have put the Shield and my arrows in the flame to?) (Assuming its been an hour and everyone has rolled their hit dice) she dawns her shield and collects her equipment
"I guess if there is nothing in there. Dain how big is that hole? Otrov how, um did you try oiling it?"
(magic charging takes 1 minute, so there is plenty of time. As long as it is a non magical metal object, then the flame can enchant it. To make it easier to track, i will say that all enchantments will last until tomorow morning at dawn)
The halfling grins slyly at Margret, “Are you asking me to lube up the hole, dear Margey? Jeez, buy me an ale first would ya? Never thought you’d ask!” She cheerfully bounds over to the door, whistling at the goblin to come with her (in case of any unpleasantness, of course. She applies some oil from her flask or lantern to the hinges....
*well Otrov will put the piton and the caltrops and ball bearings in the flame too then. Yee haw!
Zurzg by this point has seen or heard enough about people playing with the weird flames to try it on his morningstar. If there's enough time that is, before Otrov called him over to muck about with the door. Without any direct request to actually try opening the thing, it takes a hot minute from him to put together why he'd been call over before figuring it all out and pushing it once the hinges are oiled up.
Nobody in the meantime just curls up into a tighter ball back at the workshop and continues to doze. His tail at this point curled around him like some makeshift blanket or cocoon.

Dain leaves Sabastian to watch over Nobody as he goes with the others to check out this other building personally. If needed with that 20, he would cast guidance, adding 4 to that 20.
Zurzg sees not much reason in hesitating after the opening the door, and so entered the room for a look around. That is, if someone doesn't stop first. And if pointed towards the chest, he more than happily makes his over, and just about looks ready to drag out the room before whistling back to Otrov and pointing at it. "You come see this time, yes? Make sure not trapped. Not gonna ignore Zurzg again like with door ways back, yes?" He asked.

Otrov
Hooking The Prick on her back and taking out her rapier in one hand and manticore spike in the other, Otrov glances around the room. “Sure! What could go wrong?” She cautiously goes forward and will investigate the chest, checking for traps or bombs and the like - investigate - 23 and assuming advantage from Zurgz - 19
Otrov, you notice a thin layer of condensed water on the chest when you get closer. But before you can take a closer look, dark gray smoke billows out of the chest into the incorporeal shape of a men with a long robe. When the wraith rises up from the chest, it says, “Your presence is offensive to me, your life forfeit. My treasures are mine alone, not yours to plunder!”
Zurzg tries to cross his arms over his chest, but finds it hard to do with a shield strapped to one. So, he settles for putting his hands loosely at his hips and saying, "Yea, well, Zurzg not know meaning of forfeit.... or offensive. But Zurzg understands you want to keep treasure and can respect this." He nods sagely. "So, Zurzg think..." He stops, and if there's time, looks to Otrov, seeing as she was the closest. "What you think?" He adds nonplussed by the whole situation.

(Are you useing a light?)
Yeah, I have my spectator eyestalk. I would have refreshed it before heading off into the dark, if the hour is up.
Otrov tries not to poop her pants and will aim the lit eye stalk towards the chest. She nods at Zurgz, "Sure, he's right. I can understand that - we're not plundering, just making sure that nothing waits for us. We had a bit of a run-in with a shapeshifter and drow person. Now those were plunderers, you know? We don't want any trouble with you, billowy-smoke-scary-guy. We're really sorry to disturb you, you know, one time one of my brothers stole all my cupcakes and hid them in my pillow. So, you know, I know how you might feel."
"Oh what? This old thing? Yeah, I killed it - well, I didn't kill it but the royal "I" killed it, meaning "we." Anyways, some dumb bugbears probably did that, but we killed a lot of stuff in here. Did you know bugbears aren't really bugs? I know, right?! Anyhoo - we thought it best this place return this place to working order before those greedy drow got here." She eyes the chest. "Hey! Do you live in there? I guess it's spacious for someone who's like, a cloud. What's your name? Do you have one? Do you remember it? You look like a William. I really like this light though, it's pretty cool! Do you like it? Maybe you want to trade for it? It's all magicky and stuff because there's a cool fire somewhere around here. If you got any cool stuff, maybe we could exchange cool things? What kind of stuff do you like?" Otrov pauses, realizing she is the only one speaking. The billowy-cloud guy is looking at her just like her mother used to when she tried to explain herself. She nervously waits.....and in doing so, in the silence of the room, lets out a small - but obvious - fart.
Margret stays her hand Watching to see how this plays out admiring how Otrov has turned a surprise to neutral then a horrid thought comes to her head "Crap! We've totally messed up the balance of this place now this thing is free to claim what they fought so hard to achieve" Not that she blames anyone in this little group for killing spectator creature but she would much rather of negotiate with it than this dark spirit.
She whispers to Kai "I hope you have some juice left, like you did with the skeletons" then she sends a message to Otrov "Dont reply to this but be on your guard."
She whispers to Dain "How about giving Otrov a little more light with that mace? I noticed that it glows"
