As long as you keep at least 1 hand on the rope you can try whatever you like. If yoy want to hang upside down on your feet and use both hands, i would need an acrobatics check. And if you got it in your backpack, you can use it. I asume you took your adventuring gear with you.
Like i said, the foot is 4 ft away, your natural reach should be around 2 ft, so any stick or normal siced sword would do to poke it.
Nobody, you reach the backyard of the Sleepung Giant without any problems, from your familiar you know that Margret and Otrov shout be in the outhouse.
Otrov asks Margy to pull her back up. Once there she will tell her what she has seen. “I think if I go down head first I could probably grab the foot - or attach it to another rope - got any extra?” Otrov looks a bit worried and says so to Margret. “I try not to breathe down there - gods does it smell foul! I wonder who it is? And why they were thrown in there?” Otrov looks at Margret and asks, “What do you think? Should I try? I think I can make a loop and lash the foot to it. Or I could try to move it a bit with a stick or a sword.”
Nobody mentally thanks Karasym but continues to urge it to remain on surveillance on the town. In the meantime, once he finally sights at least Margret and Otrav, relief floods his eyes. He slows if only to better pace himself, but waves at the two during the last leg of all his hurrying. Once he got within comfortable speaking distance, as thoughts of yelling hindsight would only serve to confuse, he takes a few seconds to catch his breath.
"There's a foot.. maybe a whole body.. at bottom. I think... I think maybe could be another one of those beings that Nothic had told me about. The one's pretending to be a body. Or, more than likely, its one of their victims that they stashed away." Nobody explains to the two. It's only in that moment that he remembers Dain, and looks back worriedly for at least a second or two before shaking his head. "I get to him next -- But look. Once we get that body or foot out, we need to be on the lookout for anyone that may look like them in town. Because if they can disguise themselves as a body, who knows what else they can do." He expresses.

Hearing steps running again, Dain will head out and follow Nobody to wherever they are going.
"What be happening?" He asks once he catches up. Getting filled in he will shake his head and move over to help shore up any pit Noboby starts to make. (giving help action on any checks needing doing.)

Nobody stops mid sleeves rolls and looks back at Margret... then shakes his head as he turned back to get to spellcasting, smiling, if albeit grudgingly. When Dain does show up, Nobody will fill him in between castings if someone else doesn't do it. "If you have any shovels on hand, that can help as well to help with clear a bit e-easier."
There are so many ways to change someones apearence. An illusion like disguise self, an transmutation like alter self, a changeling, a dopplegaenger or an good old fashioned disguise. And you are sure there are many more ways that you just don‘t remeber right now.
After a few minutes of work, you dig a small ramp on the side of the outhouse, leading around 6ft under, where you estimate the body. You carefully move the last ft of dirt away from the pit and light starts to pour out from the hole you just made. You widen the breakthrough and you can see the leg from your side as well now. It is around 2 flt from the edge, were you broke into the pit.
"O-okay. This is the, uhm, well.. uh.. I leave the rest to you guys here." Nobody says. "I'll just be up top." At that, he tries to scramble his way out of the pit, leaving margret, Dain, or whoever else wanted to be involved in handle the last part.

"Ooooh, okay! Yes, magic! We need to make the best out of this sh***y situation!" Otrov sighs in relief as she starts looping up her hempen rope to stow back into her pack. "I'm relived I don't have to go back down there but..." she looks around, "is excavating the latrine going to draw a bit of attention? I mean, someone probably threw that body down there - unless they fell in, which almost happened to me once you know. Toilets are not made for halflings! Anyways, I'll keep a look out while the wizards play in the dirt" Otrov will keep a look out around their area to see if anyone is watching or if it's drawing any attention.
I think Dain is back in the inn still. I have not been posting since I don't exactly know where and what Dain is up to now...
I assume you are in the in, yes. So you can hear Someone ( Nobody) running down the stairs.
