Thokk - Taking a seat at one of the tables begins to wonder, "What is going on? That elf said that they would group us up and give each of us specialized training...yet, there isn't a single person here...figures. Now what? This place seems to be pretty...dead considering the recent murder, regardless of how well it was covered, it wouldn't be good to stick around. I'm certainly not getting locked back up again! It was a pain to escape the first time and cost me my father, who I won't have to help me this time around. Perhaps it is time to leave this city and venture on especially since that female human from last night mentioned that the authorities were looking for individuals who sell drugs...now where to go?", He will sit and ponder this until breakfast is brought out.
Walking down the stairs you notice the Elf Zephyre from last night's meeting. He stands propped against the wall and as you approach he turns to face you, seemingly waiting for you to wake up.
"I hope you don't get offended but I entered your counciens while you slept, I've done this with everyone from the meeting in Hope's of understanding everyone even more. You've had a pretty interesting life haven't you? He continues talking without waiting for an answer as though he already knew what the outcome would be.
"If you are to help in our quest, I will need to know what exactly you are capable of. Do you know any bardly skills, or pirate skills? I just don't know where to start, what I might be able to teach you, or who to even place you with depending on what skills you do posses. You can definitely deceive and distract better than most, and you are quite charming with you words, not to mention fairly attractive. What I'm getting at is that you have the potential to be many things and be very good at them. So what would a goal be of yours to achieve throughout your life? Maybe I can help you achieve them with the correct guidance."
"Oh, was that you inside my head last night? I thought I smelled something odd." She stares at the elf through narrowed eyes. " All right, I specialize in providing distractions. I'm not a bard, you know that. But I can tell a lie with flair, put on any other personality you like, keep a crowd interested in a story or a juggling act, talk a guard into leaving his post. I'm lucky with dice, and can pick a pocket or a lock, if it's really necessary to get my hands dirty. And I have...connections. Not the kind that get you an invitation to the royal ball. The kind that get you information. The kind that make your enemies accidentally fall off a dock at midnight with a pocket full of rocks. I don't know the Ring City's underworld yet. But I do know the people who do."
A goal? She doesn't think she had ever had one, aside from getting through to the next day, messing with people's heads, and putting on the most amazing show ever.
Except that one.
The elf couldn't bring her gang back to life. He couldn't bring her crew back to life. But he could bring Trillia Lethwaite back to life.
"My goals? I want a ship," she says. "I want a well-armed, well-crewed, fast warship, suitable for hunting pirates." She has a score to settle with a certain Captain Saloosh. Anyway, it was better to be a pirate hunter than an actual pirate--you got to take all the best stolen loot and instead of a hunted criminal, you were a hero.

Nawien slept well and, apparently, long, which she did not expect at all with excitement of last night. Zephire's magic? May be. Where is he, by the was? He was talking about "personal training" and "private talk". Should she wait in her room?
Laaz (if she remembered his name correctly) did care about his customers: the room was clean, hot water was brought almost instantly. But what now? She decided to give it 10 more minutes and then go downstairs. Walking impatiently back and forth in her room she was trying to rehearsal in her head the speech for Zephire meant to impress and in the same time grant her at least some information about future adventure.

Marun climbs out of bed and takes a few minutes to stretch, limbering up for what was clearly going g to be another interesting day. This elf is either going to get me killed or get me one giant step closer to being back on the waves.
Outside, the sound of the city coming to life drifted up out of the streets and alleys. Time for me to move too. Marun collects his gear and makes his way down stairs. A few others have already found the elf sitting in the common room. Marun quickly speaks to Laaz, organising a hot breakfast, before he takes a seat at the table with the elf.
“You demand a lot of trust for someone so mysterious. I hope you live up to it.”
Insight:16
As they talk Marun continues to try and see if the elf is worthy of his trust.
Dàin also wakes up, and gathers his meagre but most precious belongings, "that was definitely better than sleeping in my cloak under a tree or rock out on the road. And to be able to comb some knots out of my beard."
Dàin heads downstairs and greets the others, takes a seat and waits for breakfast.
"Morning, nothing beats a hot breakfast before some action, helps keep the jitters down."

It's probably not a good idea to have nothing but rum for breakfast, and it's an even worse idea to turn down a free meal. Layla....or maybe Trillia again...joins the others in the common room waiting for actual food to be served, and wonders why she is so reluctant to leave her previous life behind this time.

"Hum, that was exactly what I needed. A good night of sleep to start with a bright new day!" With a loud yawn, sounding almost like a roar, Maze stretched all of her body and smiled as a shiver traveled her spine. Not needing much time to dress, for she was still wearing the habitual pieces of cloth that served her as clothing, she simply put on her cloak and opened her door. As Maze walked silently downstairs, she heard people talking about forming teams and thought "I may not have understood most of what they were saying last night, but I'm pretty confident that one of them talked about helping us understand what we had inside... I have to take this as a sign. I must follow this path." Using the fact that they were so focused on making those decisions, Maze walked behind the two females and covered one of their shoulders with her oversized hands, letting her fingers slide down just enough to be inappropriate. She looked at one and said, "Layla is it?" getting closer to Layla's face, she took a big breath and said, "I see that you're one to start the day with a punch, HA, like your style!" She then turned toward the second one and said "And you, I can't say much about you, but you look like someone worth spending time with,” ending with an exaggerated suggestive look.

Sliding her hands a bit further down, Maze looked at the males and said, "I still need to have a bath and frankly, I'd rather have a hand with that."Then, she thought, "yeah... might not be the best idea after what happened last time... better play it safe."She then, pulled her hands back to herself and, fixating her gaze on Rusty, she said, "Hey you? Care to give me a hand?"
Rusty slowly approaches the group but stays slightly back.
I am able to work with any biologicals, I would prefer working with those that are more in control of their emotions as it is more conducive to the desired outcome in the quickest possible time frame. I do understand that for some, individual constructs such as myself, are hard to accept and work with; not pairing us together is logical.
"I do not think it's a good idea, your highness" Not a sarcasm but not a sincere addressing either. Nawien freed herself from orcess grab and moved away. "The way you express your emotions is not something one can rely upon. In a difficult situation."
