As the battle ends Krom recovers his handaxe from the orc's body, he says to the party "That was a great battle indeed! We are performing each time better.", he will turn toward Kazri and add, "Are you ok lass? You took a lot of hits. We may encounter some more foes inside, so let me tend your wounds." Krom will touch Kazri's hand while chanting a prayer (Cure Wounds6 ).
Krom will then briefly examine the corpses for further raw materials.
"You are right Chill, we need to clear the shrine. Let's proceed carefully." Krom will move toward the shrine (together with the group) with his shield and hammer ready.
You find the typical armament of orcs, battleaxes and javelins that are pitted, corroded and damaged. There is about 35 gold pieces worth of metal in the whole lot.
Orcs don't take care of their gear very well.
The Orog has beat up plate mail that you might be able to salvage parts from to make a whole set for Kazri. You've got 2 now. A couple more and you might be able to make a set that Kazri could wear without shame.
The ogres only have massive clubs and hide armor and nothing else of value.
As you carefully approach the shrine the gatehouse is 20 feet high, and its outer doors have been smashed to flinders. A rusty iron portcullis blocks the south exit, but is bypassed by a rubble-filled hole in the southwest corner of the gatehouse. The winch to raise the portcullis has been destroyed.
"Thank you Master Krom. I am... (slightly winded) fine. Please give me a moment and I will be ready to proceed..."

"Do you need any help carrying all that metal?" Chip would ask looking to Krom and helping to collect the scrap. Chip would then send his dancing lights forward into the rubble filled hole next to the gatehouse before moving to the edge of the wall and looking inside.
A thus far mute Rhogar finally looks up from Ogre corpse to the others, hunger lingering in his eyes for a moment prior to being blinked away enroute to following them. "Ah, I wouldn't worry too much about carrying the metal, so much as gathering the scraps together in a neat pile. For if I remembering right, and I NEVER forget a thing, the last were made into some coin, was it not?" He looks to Krom to confirm his theory. Then, he would join Chip in at least gathering together the scrap.
The plate he realized would have to go on the wagon for the time being. So, leaving Ghorar to relay things between himself and the group for a while, the Bronze makes his way back to bring it closer to the shrine and make things easier on everyone.

Chill moves ahead of the others to scout out things. After looking inside the main gates and seeing the portcullis down he heads for the gap in the wall carefully making his way through it.

Rekuberk will make his way through the hole in the wall, keeping his sword ready at all times incase any other surprises wait for them inside of the shrine.
"You are correct Rhogar, we have no use of additional metal, beside the plate, I will convert all the weapons into gold as soon as we get a few hours of rest." replies Krom.
(OOC I did not specify that the previous weapons we gathered were made into coins, so I will convert them all (in group of 100 gold pieces) before our next rest.)
Krom will then follow the group inside, keeping his weapon ready.
After lumping the plate (along with any other recent "acquisitions") into the wagon, Rhogar leaves it just outside the gate, distrusting it not being taken or thinking it merely convenient to have it any reach. Eventually catching up with the others, he would follow along breathlessly for a time. On the other hand, a much more impatient Ghorar jets ahead to eventually flutter by or simply alight on the Chill's shoulder(if allowed), trying to look fierce and determined while looking about things with him.

With Chill leading the way and the others following you explore the outside of the shrine.
The orcs and ogres camped in the grassy courtyard, which is littered with bones, broken weapons, and shattered armor from past battles. The courtyard has four quadrants. The ogres claimed the southeast quadrant, while the orcs claimed the remaining quadrants.
The courtyard’s northwest and northeast quadrants contain rotted wooden troughs and posts that were once used to feed, water, and tether horses.
The Northwest Tower is open to the sky and strewn with rubble. The Southwest Tower is roofless and has a rubble-filled break in its southeast wall. Little remains of the Southeast Tower. Lying amid the debris is a rusty iron bell.
The Northeast Tower is the only one of the shrine’s four towers that has not fallen. An iron ladder inside the tower climbs to a stone trapdoor in the ceiling. The orc that was seen at the top when you approached is now gone. Whether it died in the battle or ran off you do not know, but there is no sign of it anywhere.
Entering the main building (S7) you find that rows of crumbling pillars support the 40-foot-high vaulted ceiling of this hall. Humanoid bones litter the dusty floor, and a 10-foot-square hole in the ceiling leads to the belfry. No rope hangs from the bell, which appears to be made of untarnished copper.

"I think we should check out the tower the orc had been using to keep watch before we leave.. " Chip would say looking up to the north east as they enter the building. Once inside, Chip would point to the large copper bell. "Hey Krom, do you think you could make anything useful out of that?" He would ask, looking to the dwarf. The brass scaled dragonborn would then begin looking around the room for anything of value. He would even pull out his lute and play a few notes and hum to himself as he searched... granting bardic inspiration to anyone that wanted it.
"I could make something out of it if we can manage to reach it and I have enough time, replies Krom, Do you have any particular requests?". The dwarf proceeds then to check the main building while keeping his weapon ready and chanting a prayer in order to enhance his skills.

Rekuberk will move with the others, keeping his pace slow. "It is worth a shot Chip but for now keep an eye and ear out for the orcs. There is likely more of them hiding somewhere...."
"NOW Ghorar might be able to help with that. A bit of division of labor, now that things have calmed down." Rhogar said, already sending his thoughts to her. Although he grimaces at whatever message comes back, the blue-winged psuedodragon can be seen flying back out of the main building, and too the Northeast tower. If she can find any arrow running up along outside of the shrine or the like, this she makes her point of egress first and foremost. And if not able to, she tries her luck trying to open up the trap door at the top of the tower, barring an unexpected meeting with a cowering orc at the top, desperate to make himself look small on the ground.
During the interim, Rhogar takes a closer look at one of the humanoid bones, and tries to identify at least the race most seem to belong to; words of power being not from his lips, seeking the assistance of "Brother Vixix". But otherwise, he hangs around the back of the group, and remained closest to the entrance.
You continue to explore the room. The bones are old and you can only identify them as humanoid. There is nothing in the room that really identifies who the shrine is dedicated to.
Checking the other rooms you find that the room to the west (S8) contains six beds with moldy mattresses, the shattered remains of a wooden table and six chairs, and a soot-stained fireplace containing a rusty cauldron hanging from a spit. A narrow break in the north wall provides an alternative exit. The smell of rat is in the mattresses and you presume this is where the wererats slep when they lived here.
The room to the east (S9) is also empty. All the furnishings in this area have been destroyed, and part of the south wall has collapsed.
Entering the south room (S10) you see that six stone pillars brace the vaulted ceiling of this temple, the floor of which is buried under a thick layer of dust. Also covered in dust are four humanoid skeletons in tattered priestly vestments, lying near a stone altar situated in an alcove under four narrow windows. Carved into the front of the altar is a humanoid eye.
Krom is able to determine from the symbol that this was a shrine dedicated to Savras, god of divination and fate.
Meanwhile Ghorar is able to fly up to the tower that remains standing. Peaking over the edge of she looks in and finds that it is empty. The orc is gone.
As the battle ends Krom recovers his handaxe from the orc's body, he says to the party "That was a great battle indeed! We are performing each time better.", he will turn toward Kazri and add, "Are you ok lass? You took a lot of hits. We may encounter some more foes inside, so let me tend your wounds."
