Ethan continues to walk along with smile on his face.

Fae will feed some seeds to Edgar, coaxing him out from under her hood. She'd whisper something to him and he'd take off to soar the skies in tandem with Krikket, perhaps they'll be able to cover twice as much ground. The wizard would remain silence otherwise just listening and observing.

Ethan turns to Arvel,

"Yeah, I do like the atmosphere out here, but I wouldn't want to be stuck out here forever, not unless I had a well stocked workshop and and endless supply of resources."

"Even then, people tend to help the creative process. You never know what someone may say, that could spark that new thought, that leads to a new technique or discovery."

Ethan looks up at the roof of trees

"But it is nice to experience for a bit."

 Elra thinks on Avrel's words for a moment. "Is everything alright Avrel?" She turns around on her heels to look at him with a really big, friendly smile.

Arvel smiles.

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking."

"You sure?" Elra asks, tipping her head sideways like she's trying to get a better look at him. "You know you can tell me stuff right? I'm good at keeping secrets."

"Let's just say it's been awhile since I shared a warm bed with someone."

Arvel winks suggestively.

"... well if that's it you can share a bed with me," Elra doesn't seem to catch on to what Avrel's saying. "Just a fair warning though, when I shared a room with someone at the House of Knowledge I apparently like to kick in my sleep."

"Ah, the innocence of a cloistered life."

"Oh, it wasn't that bad. I got to do tons of stuff, like there was this one time when when I was teaching a bunch of kids who had come by for a lesson, and for some reason one of them had thought it was a good idea to bring their father's dagger with him. I had to take it away from him and then spend the rest of the lesson talking about why we don't take our parents weapons with us to school. It was really weird, and then when his dad came by to take him home he was confused because his dagger was on his belt and he wasn't sure where his son got a dagger and then I had to run around the village trying to figure out where this kid found a dagger and it turned out that he had stolen it from a blacksmith. It was fun because when the blacksmith got it back he... I'm rambling again," Elra looks around the group. "Sorry."

"Anyways... where was I? Oh ya," Elra turns back to Avrel. "If you need someone to talk to you can come find me. I do like to listen, even if I spend a lot of time talking."

"It's not something I relish speaking about. But if that ever changes, you'll be first on my list."

"Alright, but just so you know. I've got my eyes," she points at her eyes, then at Arvel. "On you, so don't you go around thinking that you can get away with just talking your way out of trying to tell me that you're doing okay when you're clearly not okay."

"Far be it from me to complain about a young woman having her eyes on me."

Arvel smiles and winks.

"Good, cause I'm like an owl," Elra once again misses the point. "Well, no. Not an owl, but, well. It's gonna be hard to get out of my line of sight."

Ethan looks back and forth between Elra and Arvel, not really understanding what's going on, on multiple levels.

Feeling the conversation has veered into territory that Ethan is unfamiliar with, Ethan goes back to soaking in the ambiance.

Arvel chuckles.

"Well, you 'ave to be careful wiz owels and flattery you know?"

Elra claps her hands, "Oh, I know this one! It's because they will turn their heads!" she looks proud of herself for remembering that joke. She turns to Ethan, "Oh, did you want to say something Ethan?"

Ethan looks at Elra,

"Huh? No."

Ethan turns back to the path the group is travelling and continues admiring nature, an oblivious smile on his face.
