"Why... would they have that in an institue for children..." Elra says. She looks to Arvel, "Don't worry Arvel. When we get back to Neverwinter I'll take you to the House of Knowledge and show you tons of interesting books!"
Let's say the brazier is 4ft tall and only half as wide. Ethan can easily make something to carry it securely with his advanced skills. The brazier is significantly lighter than a stone or even metal statue of the same size due to it's ornate detail and that the metal is not particularly thick.
Those in the party with an affinity for Oghma and the pursuit of knowledge know that some who are extremely devout in their dedication to the deity might record all script twice, burning one copy of their thoughts, records, or studies in such a brazier as an offering of knowledge to their God. Writing everything twice serves the duel purpose of reinforcing the thoughts and information in the writer's mind as well. This practice is not particularly wide spread, most devotees opting not to follow the practice with no fear of being considered less devoted. It is simply one way some choose to focus their devotion.

Tarja packs away her share, wondering what to even do with this much.
Buy some land maybe, plant a grove. Maybe hire some guards, keep Phandalin a bit safer. Maybe help out some of the farmers that have been having rough times.
After we've done something about those Redbrands in town. Not much prosperity to be had with those guys around.
Zeke stares at the pile of gold and treasure he's been allocated - clearly confused. Turning to Ethan, the barbarian timidly asks 'What am I supposed to do with this?'
"I'm going to send some of mine to the House of Knowledge," Elra says, "and I'm going to send Loremaster Altervast a letter asking if I should bring the brazier back to Neverwinter."
"Well you buy something with it, or you can give it to others, like Elrais, if you think they will use it in a way that you agree with."
"What do you wantZeke? You mentioned something about a temple last night when you were talking about your sword."
"Is that somewhere you could make use of your money?"
Ethanfailed to notice the nuance of what Zekewas saying about the temple. "It is a symbol of an office that no longer exists"
Ethancontinues to pack away his share of the gold and valuables, carefully feeding it into a space inside his gauntlet, so that it doesn't get all jumbled up.
"I'm going to hold on to my share, so I can use it to purchase any materials, tools or other things I may need for my crafting."
"It can get very expensive sometime. If you want just the right kind of gem or crystal, or you need more gold or silver for the inlay, or even platinum."
"Platinum is even better then gold for carrying large amounts of magical energy."
"And then there is the cost of renting space, if I wanted to make use of someone's workshop."
"I mean I like being able to work anywhere, having all my tools with me, but having even just a workbench and stool, can make things a lot easier sometime."
"Hmm, I wonder if I could make a small folding table, something that could fit into my gauntlet...."
Ethanpulls out his designs book and takes a few quick notes and a rough sketch of a simple idea, to be expanded on later.
"Anyway, um, yeah so what is it you want that you don't currently have Zeke? Maybe the money can help you get it, or get closer to having it."
Zeke looks at the pile of golden coins for a moment before stowing them carefully into his haversack. 'I'm not sure the things I seek can be purchased with coin, Master Artificer, but I suppose I will find some use for them.'
Fae and Edgar head out of the castle first to scout a bit, and find little more than thick morning fog slowly breaking up over the lake. Soon they are joined by the rest of the party, Ikket, Fraac and of course, Gundren. The dwarf is still wide eyed and afraid, but is willing to cling to or hold hands with Elra or anyone else who has been kind. He is slow and will surely cost the group some time during the long walk back to Phandalin, but at least he seems willing and able to come along under his own power.
Yeemik watches you leave and then returns to his newly appointed position as master of Cragmaw Castle. The two quieter goblins lead the party east as the sun breaks through on a cool but pleasant day. Their path takes you farther east than the approach you made over the rocky hills, and then south. You soon approach the same stretch of rocky terrain, but the goblins lead the way though a pass that proves easier than the trip the party made over the previous two days. Spider webs had been seen throughout the forest, and are particularly notable here, but at worst large spiders seem to slink out just enough to get a glimpse of the party before calming retreating to their hiding spots once again.
Despite Gundren's slow plod, the goblins lead the party to a road by mid afternoon. It is the Triboar Trail, just farther East than you have yet traveled. "Your town is back that way" remarks Fraac, pointing West. Accepting the goblin's share of the coin from Arvel, this is where the goblins will depart and head to back to the castle in hopes that it is now truly their home.
Anything anyone wants to be doing, discussing, etc. during the day's journey? Anything else we should address or is Phandalin the main goal at this point?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arveltakes a turn at walking with Gundren, or at least Maxiedoes. The charlatan charms the dwarf by speaking effusively about how great the merchant is, trying to remind him of his former glory and filling his eyes with friendly illusions of his renowned finery.
As Arvel charms Gundren a bit and shows him the illusions, the dwarf's eyes, wide with paranoia, change to those of curiosity, amazement, and excitement. It is a subtle change with regard to the physical aspect, but is significant in what it reveals about Gundren's mental state. He doesn't quite smile, but Gundren's mouth hangs open as another sign of his infatuation with the illusions.
"You didn't have to throw a spare shirt over the cover when you were hanging out in, and I mean this word very charitable, the library."

Oh, come on, it couldn't have been that bad! People eat all sorts of things when they're hungry!
"I was seven! Sorry I didn't have a tolerance for other cultures. The look in that orc's eyes as it was carving that..."
The charlatan looks away and shudders.

Ethan finishes rigging up the wooden structure around the brazier, so that it can be lifted off the ground on the shoulders of two to four people.
"So you crouch down, putting the poles on you shoulders, then you stand back up, lifting the brazier."
Ethan looks around the room, noticing the chest of treasure again.
"Right, so we just need to deal with that and we should be ready to go, I think."
