Ethan thinks for a moment more before remembering,

"Oh, ah, I have a spear you could use as well, if that was more your thing. Ah, and a dagger as well actually, but maybe the other weapons would be a little more...substantial, than a dagger..."

'Wait - give me a moment to tie up these last two (ooc: ?) goblins.  I don't want them making mischief once we move on'

Pulling rope from his pack, Zeke proceeds to tie both goblins to each other around one of the barrels in the back, knocking them both around liberally while doing so.

'Ok, I'm back up front and on point.  Quick and quiet-like everyone.'

Tarja looks around to see if the rest Sildar's equipment is somewhere in the back, in case the goblins left it around here.

Perception: 14

Let's move on and find Gundren, we can do that without the goblins' help.

Following that, she joins Zeke in the front.

 Ethan stays near Sildar, ready to help him if needed, or protect him if things get more dangerous as the group moves forward.

"Yeah, lets go, we cant wait around, Gundren's life may depend on us."

Fae would lower her hands, looking down at the fried goblins. She’d give one a little kick in the foot to make sure they were dead. Satisfied, she’d turn on her heels and tuck her hands into her pockets. She’d side glance the two goblins Zeke tied up before following the others to go find Gundren. Fae would cover the rear in silence again. 

Fae suddenly burns the three goblins near the fire to a crisp, the one conscious one screaming in agony.  The smell is anything but pleasant, to say the least.

Sildar nods and collects himself, accepting the offer of shield and spear.  Tarja mostly just sees barrels and crates deeper into the cave, but also sees the fancy dagger on the floor and a heavy crossbow leaning against the cave wall.  There seems to be a handful of bolts on the floor nearby.  Sildar's personal belongings, including his weapons and armor, are not found.

As the group returns to where they entered this part of the cave, they have the choice of the rubble filled passage they climbed up or a more level passage to their left.  Zeke notices that the sound of rushing water is louder towards this new path.  Sildar stays in the back but is able to keep up thanks to the healing, although he does as the others for some water and rations.  He comments "I tried to protect him.  I told that old fool we should leave with such haste and without all of you, but he would have gone either way..."

"Maybe it was for the best," Elra replies. "Who knows what would have happened to him if you didn't go with him." She also seems to be a bit bothered by what Fae did. She looks around the room, looking for anything to lay her eyes on besides Fae or the rest of the party until she gets her mind made up on what Fae did.

Fae could feel her burning emotions begin to fizzle out with the awkward silences and anyone avoiding her stare. She’d try to keep a stern face, though, inside her head was a much different state. All she did know was that she was thankful for Elra’s skills, she truly saved Sildar.

Fae would approach Sildar with an empathetic nod. “Please, help yourself.” She’d present him with her waterskin and rations. “Take your fill. It’s the least I can offer.” She’d keep pace with him on their journey through the cave. 

(if Elra spots the knife she is going to scoop it up if no one else does.)

(Tarja would pick up the heavy crossbow and bolts, and dagger if she sees it, for Sildar to use.)

Not sure who’s that Klarg creature is that has Gundren, but we might need all the help we can get in taking him out. I couldn’t find your things, but maybe these will help for now? None of us should be defenseless in here.

She would recommend heading to the path which leads up instead of down, so that’s the level path to the left?

Sildar takes the crossbow as well, nodding at Tarja.  As the group leaves the bound goblins yell "wait, don't leave us, we can help!"  Sildar says in response "bastard cut off my finger, I say we leave em to rot."

"Bit violent though," Elra replies.

'Trust nothing they say - they are liars and cowards and cretins.  We must push on to find Gundrun.'

Elra nods in agreement, Vincent settling back on her shoulder as she catches up with the party. "Still, it's a shame to just leave them here like this?"

The echo of rushing water grows louder as the group proceeds down the new passage.  They soon find a familiar bridge, the shortbow of the goblin they had so expertly removed from it still resting upon it.  The original tunnel with the cascading waters continues deeper into the hill to their left, and a narrower tunnel leads forward beyond the bridge.  Faint light can be seen ahead in either direction, but the water drowns out any noise that might otherwise be heard.

Ethan looks conflicted as the group leaves the two goblins behind. 

At Elra's remark about it, Ethan looks confused, opening his mouth as if to speak, but closing it again, unsure of himself. 

As the group heads around to the bridge from earlier, Ethan quietly remarks to himself, 

"This isn't what I thought adventuring would be like. I feel queasy..." 

"Queasy is one word for it," Elra agrees, petting Vincent as they continue to move. Something seems to dawn on her as they continue foreward "Hey Sildar?" Elra turns around, "what's that dagger Tarja gave you? It looks cool."

Fae would just walk, one hand holding a glow stone, the other holding onto her arcane crystal. There's more concern voiced for the damned cannibals than Gundren. That's what makes me sick to my stomach. A soft huff leaves her nose at the thought. All she wanted to focus on right now was getting to Gundren.

Ethan turns at Elra's words, giving a nod of agreement,

"They were going to eat them...who eats people?"

"I always imagined adventuring would be a little more...ah, straightforward."

"I guess I never imagined evil could be quite so disturbing...I mean they where going to eat, people!"

"People, eating people...."

Ethan goes quiet again, shaking his head at the thought.
