Edeleth nearly calls Rosri back. He had hoped to ask Rosri's help, but it is clear that the halfling has his own troubles at the moment, and it is hardly fair ask more of him when the party is dragging him into a situation he abhors.
Rosri, with his luck and his fast feet and his trick of blending into shadows, is surely the most likely of them all to survive the coming adventure. But there is no question that his values and priorities are very different from his own. Edeleth hopes that whatever the halfling is planning to get them into, it won't be too morally untenable. And would not get them killed faster than playing Army would.

Roscoe settles back in at the inn and makes sure to eat a hearty meal. Uncertain where this war was going to take him, the halfing finally had a purpose. His time away from the tribe had been spent mostly discovering new places and attempting to understand the inhabitants' way of life. Roscoe's tribe mostly avoided large scale war. If there was too much of a problem in an area, the tribe would just move. He'd dealt with small skirmishes here or there but nothing to level that they were heading toward.
He spends most of his time tending to his weapons and armor making sure they were ready for the battles ahead.
Everyone has the rest of the evening and next morning to do what they please. Cade and Saerrira are actually scheduled to play the lead Roles for the Remembrance day Celebration Musical Performance on the Central Plaza in the Marketplace next morning. I will get back on that pm thread, but the final Performance may be attended by all other Pcs here on the Main Thread That is, if they don't end up in jail (I'm looking at you Team3 lol).
Speaking of which, TEAM 3 IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED OUT, AND FINALLY ON THEIR FIRST OFFICIAL QUEST! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW "BLACK OPS" BRANCH OF THE ORDER OF THE HANGING CHICKEN!
Meanwhile, a vilain in the shadows just got way scarier...Hold on to your seats....

Peshley spends the time she has quietly continuing her studies. Her time is split between the library and her room at the Inn. She is aware of the Remembrance Day celebrations and has intentions to attend and support her friends in their performance.
During her studies, she is going to focus on learning as much as she can about gnolls, and whatever entity they may have bee worshipping. The sight of the floor collapsing, and the shrieks of the dying gnolls as they fell into the endless void still filled her dreams.

Feeling restless, Edeleth changes out of his silks and goes for a walk.
Though the light is fading, the streets bustle with people preparing for tomorrow's Remembrance Day celebration. He wonders what they will be remembering. Generally, such festivals honor the memory of fallen warriors or victims of disasters. He hopes that he and his companions won't be on next year's remembrance list.
Meanwhile, back home in Lomalos, he supposes it is just about time for the annual Why The Hell Isn't Winter Over festival. It is a commoner's festival, of course, started by the gnomes, but a portion of the nobility tends to show up each year to bet on the slush sliders and the frozen mud-pit races, or to mock the traditional Airing of the Stinky Blankets. Each year, with good humor (and a surprising amount of enthusiasm) High Druid Talos Vithan emerges from the sacred grove to preside over the annual Cursing of the Snow, to the delight of all the children, waving his staff furiously and abusing whatever snow remains on the ground in the worst possible language. (Or at least, the worst possible language he will use in front of the children.)
Edeleth stops at the edge of the bridge, staring unseeing at the magnificent view of the mountains. He wonders who will be standing in his place at the High Druid's side, making sure the ancient elf doesn't slip and fall on the frozen ground. Whoever it is, he hopes they will make sure Master Talos's feet are properly dry afterward, and see that the old man is wrapped up warmly, with a hot flagon of mulled wine, however much he gripes about being fussed over.
After a few minutes he moves on. He wishes he had stayed at the palace longer, and tried to talk to some of the military people. He doesn't even know where Pinekeep is, or how long they will be traveling. He wonders if they will pass by Oakfields on the journey, and isn't entirely sure he wants to see, yet, whether the tree he had planted was still surviving. As he walks, he idly notices some dwarves hanging up a playbill for a theatrical performance, and raises his eyebrows at the familiar names listed in the cast. Well, at least there will be something of interest at tomorrow's festival.
And then they will leave Three Peaks behind for an uncertain future.
(Edeleth eventually returns to his room, casts Goodberry 4 times before resting ( 21 berries), and changes up his spell list.)

Zyman welcomes Edeleth approaching him about the way they should handle the group's medicinal needs.
"Well, I can take care of wounded in battle with healing supplies. It just means that I need to be close to them and protected for a while. Beyond that, I can take care of people on the journey and during short breaks. In emergencies, I can stem bleedings and make sure that people remain conscious. I don't have any magical abilities that let me heal however, so if we want to avoid a situation, where our group is without medical help, I would still suggest to keep at least some of your repertoire focused on helping out in case of emergencies, if only to provide a bit of redundancy, should I happen to fall in battle. If you know how to use healing words for example, I would ask you to keep that as our ace in the pocket. But after all, the choice is completely yours, of course."

Roscoe finds some time to himself to try and connect with his tribe. He wanders a bit outside of town to find a quiet place where he can hear the sounds of nature. What Roscoe looks to be doing is training his combat prowess, but it's actually a very unchoreographed dance that his people perform is celebration of family and tribe. The halfling pushes himself to the limits and eventually stops when he's dripping with sweat. It is in this state that he feels most connected to the family he's left behind and a bit of sadness washes over him until he remembers that this is all part of the journey.
