Peshley stood just inside the main gate standing beside Pony, who was saddled and set for the journey. She kept her hand on Pnoy's neck to help keep her settled in the crowd; also to help settle herself. What am I doing? I'm not a warrior. I should be learning about accounts and systems of distribution. The nerves sucked Peshley's stomach into her back and her hands felt clammy.
Around her real soldiers stood at attention, listening to their commander's rousing words. She registered snatches of comments. Peshley looked around the crowd for her companions, spotting them scattered around, As she looked Eagles swooped in bearing news of gnolls in the area. Expectantly, she looked to Hungar Shatterstone. This sounds more like the type of job we are suited to. Let the main force engage the 300 Red Brothers.
After the game Rosri hear the sound of wings in the air and as he looks up he sees the giant birds going in for landing. He call for Edeleth’s attention “I think we need to head to the gate now. Seems like the army is preparing to leave.” He takes a deep breath and try not to think of what’s to come. He has his own mission to focus on. “Maybe we should go by the Haning Chicken to see if we can find Roscoe, Grunda and Ozymandias?” He suggest.
Edeleth bids his new little friends goodbye and gets up on the wagon seat. He nods to Rosri, but says, "I have seen Grunda wandering around here somewhere, but Zyman might still be asleep. Probably spent the whole night studying again, and I have not seen Roscoe this morning yet. Let's hear what the commander has to say, and then we can go looking for our friends."
When he hears, he mutters, "Another Dragonborn menace. Lovely. And more gnolls. Kobolds as well. We must be sure to stay close to the army on the journey, we have no idea how large the enemy units may be."
(OOC: Very happy to see you back, and huge congrats on getting settled in! Heh, yeah, I just felt the need to keep Edeleth (and anyone else who wanted to join in) active...game still needs tweaking, it seems way too difficult to get a point, especially if there were three Guards instead on just one.

Roscoe climbs onto a wagon to get a better view of the theatrics involved in the crowd gathering here. He seems quite impressed with the speech but is amazed when the eagles swoop in and land. "That's so cool," he mutters. With a bit of excitement flowing through him, he moves to find the others.
While Edeleth and Rosri listen to the generals speech the wagon suddenly wobbles. Irritated that someone would climd up on their wagon (or rather because he is very hung over) Rosri turns around to see who it is, only to be met by curly red hair and an awestruck Roscoe. “Uhm hey there Roscoe, what a coincidence to bump in to you here.” Rosri say with a big grin on his face. “We were just going to look for you guys back at the inn. Have you seen Ozymandias around? Grunda should be at the stables readying Butterscotch for me.”
Roscoe looks relieved to see Rosri. "We's haven't seen them lately. Just been working on getting ready for travel. It's almost like home again. Always moving. Seeing new places. This times it's just with lots more people."He offers a smile and says, "Yous doing okay?"
None of the Commander bothered to mention the small group of adventurers. Laievis was not even sure if they remember about KotHC or know who's regiment they belong to. Certainly not the air-force but which of the land unit to join? So far "Knights" looked more like a sutlers group. Well, if the army needs them on a front line - the army is free to inform them. Laievis would appointed himself to the Battle Rams convoy, but for now stayed close to his friends, most likely gathering around Edeleth's wagon with conveniently painted KotHC symbol on it.
Roscoe grins. "Every day is a good day when we's get to travel with family. Yous will be feeling better in no time. Fresh air will fix yous right up."He looks out over the army. "It's good to have fear. Help keeps yous alive. Don't let it control yous though. Yous smart. If things get bad, protect youself. Heroes get remembered. But we's rather be alive." He laughs as he tries to steady this hafling friend's worry.
Edeleth greets Roscoe, glad to see another friend ready to go.
"Perhaps I should go roust Zyman out of his bed, or his book, while there's still time for him to snatch some breakfast on the way out," says Edeleth. "Watch over the mules, will you, Roscoe? The spotted one is Mellon and the buckskin is Sarta, but they sometimes still seem to think they are named 'stoopid beast' and 'git a move on.' I am working on that."
He walks toward the inn, nodding politely at Peshley and Laievis as he passes. It seems their team isn't fully assembled yet, either.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Roscoe exchanges pleasantries with Edeleth and gives him a reassuring nod when tasked with watching the mules. Roscoe beams with excitement. He always felt a special place in his heart for beasts and always thought himself to be rather good at working with them.
"Hi Mellon. Hi Sarta. Hope yous are having a great day. Are yous ready to to sees some natural splendors again?" He talks in a calming tone hoping to form a sort of bond with the beasts.
Rosri laugh at his friends attempt to cheer him up. He might not be as innocent as Rosri had come to believe, which reassured him because innocence couldn’t survive on the battlefield. “We are a family now aren’t we?” Suddenly Rosri realize that there are a lot more of KotHC around then just him and Edeleth.
Roscoe extends out his forearm to show Rosri the dancing Pygmalion Zagat Tattoo ink embedded in his arm. He gestures to the shape meant to represent Rosri and says, "Yes, family." He then turns his arm to show the others markings that represented those that had quickly become part of his own family. "We's protect our family."
Hearing the rallying speech, Saerirra stood, looking to her friends.
"I suppose that will have to wait. We must be off to join the army. I shall grab Taranonn from the stabled and meet you at the gates."
Saerirra departed from the tavern quickly, collecting Taranonn from the stabled and leading her to the gathering at the gates. Those in or near the cart of the Knights of the Hanging Chicken could hear the large horse approaching.
“Wow, those are some serious tattoos. Where did you get them? If we get back alive...” he trails of for a moment “...when we get back, then maybe I should get one aswell. “
Cade - Double checks to make sure that they have everything that is needed for them to make the journey and He along with Ellethy and Baron head to the gates to begin the journey. He watches as people come to the gate and prepare for this new adventure.
Roscoe beams with pride. "We's found him in Three Peaks. Name's Pygmalion Zagat. Great gnome friend that uses magics with his craft. We's can take yous to him. He'll like yous a lot. He was really friendly to us." Roscoe says that statement confidence that the two hafling companions will return here.
”If he’s able to make them dance, I wonder what else he is able to make them do? What do you think I should get when we get back?” Rosri seem exited about the idea of getting a tattoo. He has heard rumors in the underworld that some people use magic to enhance their abilities. What if he can find a way to work that kind of magic into the tattoo somehow?
Roscoe thinks for a moment and says, "Yous can get something important to yous but maybe don't make it too obvious like a lock and keys."He laughs a bit as he watches the shapes shift on his own arm.
