I really couldn't have dreamt of a better Cover Art! It's a perfect mix of heroic and goofy, just the way I try to run this Campaign. It really captures the spirit of it 100% Thank you so much!

Peshley decided to go out shopping. One thing that she did realise was that her fine clothes were not really the best suited for the type of work she looked like she would be doing in the near future. She made her way down to the shops to pick up some sturdy travellers clothes, along with a few assorted items that caught her attention. The heroes discount was a blessing, especially as she was still surviving off the gold given to them before that set out to Turniptown.

• A brooch (Emblem) with the crest of the hanging chicken emblazoned on it.
• 3 days extra feed for Pony
• 5 days extra rations for herself

• a couple of flasks of oil (x2)

Edeleth hangs around in the Hanging Chicken's common room, puttering with his new herbalism kit and wondering what uses he might put it to.  He is certain it will come in useful...somehow. 

He feels much better after the fresh air and exercise, and has been cheered by the thought that, if the other party-goers had drunk as much ale as he had, they would not be likely to remember any of the nonsense he babbled when he was deep in his cups.

Uther donned his new armor and axe and left his room. He spent the rest of the down time between riding Taranonn through the nearby fields, playing card or other games in the tavern, or walking around town exploring the area. 

He also passed by Ruskor to buy:

- 1 Arrows (20) 1 gp

- 1 Dice set 0.1 GP

- 1 Caltrops (20) 1 gp 

- Fishing Tackle 1 gp

-  6 days rations for Uther 3 gp

- 6 days of rations for Taranonn (incase he cant graze of the land) 3 gp

total 9.1 gp with discount (rounded up) = 5GP 

Zyman, who had been brooding in his room and missed the heroes banquet, goes up to Gavin, and with a tear in his eyes, says to him: « Th-Thank you... It feels good to hear that some people think I’m not awful... I should listen to THAT voice more often... » 

He gladly takes his pick of the items that are still left in Gavin’s assortiment. Once properly equipped, he heads to the common room, where he spots Edeleth: « Good Morning friend... I’m sorry about having missed the banquet. I really didn’t feel like I’d belong... plus I wanted to understand what happened, so I might better be able to control it in the future... »

"It must indeed be Spring, the groundhog has emerged from his burrow," says Edeleth, relieved to see Zyman out and about once more. "Of course you belonged, you are part of our team. You are one who ran into danger with us the moment we heard Oakfields needed rescuing. You traveled with us and fought with us and cooked for us. You saved our lives.  Or at least mine, I am certain of that."

"I am not sure what demons haunt you, Ozymandias, but whatever your burdens are, remember, you do not have to face them alone. You have friends."

Though it certainly would not hurt if Zyman studied to avoid more catastrophic spell results. Edeleth had been half afraid that another of Zyman's spells had gone awry, and that he was locked in his room because he had given himself a giant fly's head, or was slowly transforming into a beholder, and was struggling to undo the spell all alone.

« Thanks, it’s nice to hear you say that... I’ll try to remember it for the times to come. As per the demons that haunt me- I’m not entirely sure, which is part of the reason why I’m spending so much time studying ». He chuckles drily, but seems to really have been cheered up by Edeleth’s words.

When Roscoe returns to the Hanging Chicken, his left arm looks red and bruised. As the halfing approaches, you see that he's went and found a tattoo artist to get some work done. When he jumps up to the bar, he asks for a flagon and quickly enjoys it. He lets out a sigh as he looks around to see who all is here. When he hears Ozymandias and Edeleth talking he slides over to them and says. 

"We's can kill demons. Yous gonna be okay." Roscoe does his best to comfort him.

Edeleth greets his barbarian friend. He checks out Roscoe's new tattoo.  (What does it look like?)

"Grunda told me that she plays the drums," Edeleth says. "She is certainly a woman of few words, but when she does speak, it is always something of interest."

Roscoe beams up with pride to Edeleth as he shows him part of the sleeve that has a small grove of trees. "This is yous," he says pointing at the trees. As he turns his arm you can see pieces that could be attributed to each person that was on your little journey. Roscoe turns toward Zyman and points at an odd looking book. "That yous," he says with pride. 

"I am very honored to have a place on your arm," says Edeleth, smiling.

Roscoe beams back at Edeleth. "How do you think your little tree is doing? Do you have to tend to it now or is it fine all alone?"

"I am not sure," says Edeleth. "The High Druid of my country placed certain spells on the tree cuttings I am carrying to help them get started and to protect them for a few weeks, so if nothing untoward happens, it should grow naturally from now on. But life can be dangerous, even for trees."

And of course, he had planted it in a dead spot, with dead soil all around it, which would do the tree little good.  He had seen flowers sprouting around it, surprisingly, and that seemed like a good sign that the Naranda tree was actually helping to return life to the dead zone. Or that Talos Vithan's spell was powerful enough to renew a devastated region.

"In any case, I should like to visit it again, when time permits, or if we happen to travel in that direction."

Roscoe smiles and nods. "We's can go with yous to see it. Yous are a very good tree planter, bet the tree will be giant!" The halfling lifts his arms up trying to gesture a magnificent tree but it looks more like a shrub with his height. 

"I certainly hope so," said Edeleth, trying not to laugh at Roscoe's tree impression. "And the parent tree in Lomalos is over three thousand years old, so let's hope its children have equally long lives."
