If she want rings, I think some simple gold bands would work best. But I don't think they are necessary. What do you think Kate?

Kate looks at her hands and thinks for a bit. Then says, "I don't think it's worth the money to get rings."

Good, last i think we just get you a slight makeover. Nothing drastic. We just want a touchup to enhance your natural beauty and a slight styling to you hair.

Kate asks softly, "C-can't we just do it back home? Maybe Mystery can help?" Tomoe has never seen Kate act this shy before. Usually she's the stoic badass barbarian that kicks ass and doesn't take shit from anyone. Now though, she's being more like a shy librarian that hasn't seen much social interaction.

Tomoe sighs Ah, you are so cute when you are being shy. Very well, if it bothers you that much I am sure Mystery can do it. 

Lucia disagrees. She says, "Oh come on Chief. You know Kate keeps putting herself down when it comes to her beauty. She deserves to get pampered by a professional. Here, I'll even foot the bill for beauty parlor."

Lucia is right Kate, you have earned this. Let a professional do it. We will be right by your side.  You killed a deep demon. A little makeover is nothing to worry about. Plus, think of all the guys you will attract tonight. Maybe some girls too, if you are I to that. Tomoe has switched back to encouraging Kate to have a pro do her makeup and hair.

"O-oh okay. I... highly doubt that I'd be attracting anyone tonight though." Lucia hooks an arm around Kate almost as if to prevent Kate's escape and takes her out to a professional beauty parlor. 

A familiar face awaits the party at the parlor. On one of the chairs, is the tall form of the Chea, the elf that seems to travel around with the murderous champ and almost keep the girl in check. Luckily, it doesn't seem like Yuno's around. Chea is decked out in her heavy armor but her helmet rests at her feet. One of the parlor employees are working on giving Chea a massage on the head and applying some kind of cream on her face. The elf has cucumbers over her eyes so she doesn't see Tomoe and Co. walk in.

Tomoe would have been on Kate's other side. When they enter the Parlor she speaks to the attendant.  Hello, we have need of a small makeover. This pretty young lady needs a touch up to enhance her already gorgeous features. Be gentle with her, it is her first time.

The attendant says, "Right this way miss." She leads Kate to a seat. "One of our artists will be with you in a sec." The attendant leaves to get back to her stations. Lucia goes off to inquire about the price and to pay it. A few minutes later, a half-orc man walks in from an employee room, wearing the uniform of this place. He moves over to Kate and says, "Just relax. We'll have you looking like the life of the party in no time."

He gets to work applying powder, foundation, some eye-liner and lipstick. It takes some time but it gets done soon enough. The guy did a fantastic job on Kate. The makeup is barely noticeable as being present yet its effect is clear to see. All of Kate's features look how they always do but enhanced. Her skin looks smoother and seems to have a slight shine to it. Her lips pop out a bit more thanks to the lipstick yet the color is very close to the natural reddish brown of Kate's lips. Her eyelashes seem a bit longer and seductive. The shades on her eyes meshes well with Kate's pretty green eyes. Overall Kate looks like herself but better.

Kate stares at the mirror looking a bit surprised that she looks as good as she does.

Tomoe says to Kate Perfection. Now do you see what we see? You have always been this pretty. Now you just need to own it and flaunt it at your leisure. 

"Uh... huh." Kate says, unsure of herself. It is true that she sees that she looks a lot more prettier than before. "So... what now?" She asks. 

Now, we go get some drinks and waste time hoping someone starts flirting with us in hopes of possibly spending the night with them. Or we get drunk and act stupid and feel sick tomorrow.  Tomoe finally notices the Chea. Oh, Chea is here!

Chea pulls one of the cucumber slices of her eye to get a look of who's there. Seeing Tomoe, the elf says, "Oh! It's you. Hello. How have you been?"

Busy getting beat up for money and killing evil cultists. Kate even killed a Deep Demon. Now we are taking Kate out for a night out to celebrate.

Chea whistles, "A deep demon! That's honestly impressive no matter what kind of Demon you slayed. I think fought a demon once in the arena. It was not fun. Kate deserves a round of drinks for that feat." She asks, "Are you planning to fight in the arena any time soon? Yuno has been wanting to see how far you've improved since the last time. She's excited to one day face the three of you in the ring." Kate mentions, "If it's okay, I'd rather not get turned into a blood stain on the ground  by the Champ.:

I too am not ready to show Yuno directly. But we could go do a round and see just how much we have grown. 

What do you think of Kate's new look? I keep telling her how pretty she is.

"She is very pretty. I am jealous!" She wasn't really jealous but it was her way of complimenting Kate. Kate just shook her head and said, "N-No... you praise me too much. You're much prettier than me." It was not clear where exactly Chea was from or what her upbringing was like but she seemed to be very pleased with Kate's response. She says to Tomoe, "If you do fight in the arena, I will be cheering for you. Yuno too." 

That is very much appreciated. If I may ask, do you know which night club would be best for picking up a one night companion? Or which one has the best drinks? 

Chea shakes her head, "I am sorry but I do not know. When I go out, it is usually with friends and where ever they want to go. I cannot help you with this."
