Ellis is surprised as he is getting hit and falls to the ground. He gets back up, looking at the situation and seeing all the creatures around the guy who got caught. "Guys, run!!" he yells as he casts Mantle of Inspiration on Erro, Darion, Tempest, and Daner. Then he waits to see how the others move if at all before deciding his next move.
Half Movement to get back up
1st. Bonus Action - Mantle of Inspiration on Erro, Darion, Tempest, Daner: 5 temporary HP and can immediately use their reactions to move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
2nd. Action: Firstly if Erro can/does move away from the Rippers, Ellis will use Sleep again on the group of Rippers that tried to attack Erro. But if Erro can not get away but sees that Daner and Tempest moved away, he would instead use Sleep on the group of Rippers that attacked them. Then if for some reason no one moves, then he would just cast Cure Wounds on himself.

Erro now notices the dwarf who was riding upon the bear. “Oh, oh! Good dwarven bear cavalier you have come to rescue me!”
The rippers leap at Erro, but he is able to maneuver his body just right so as to swing out of the way just in time. Erro looks down and sees his rescuers begin to get ripped by the rippers. “I have to do something. One of you kind outlanders, cut me free, I can help!”
Pending how the DM wants to do it, Erro will try a Sleight of Hand check to see if he can contort himself in such a way as to grab his sword so that he can attempt to cut himself loose. 5. If it makes sense, Erro will try to use the burst of energy from Ellis to make a second attempt at doing this: 8.
If it is successful, Erro will use his action to try and cut himself loose. If it wasn’t, he’ll take the Dodge action.
(DM question: You initially said there were 8 bird/reptile creatures around Erro. 2 were put to sleep by spells but there were still 10 that made attacks [2 on Darion/Ellis, 3 on Erro, 5 on Daner/Tempest]. I'm all for some were hiding in the brush to be cautious of a new/potential food source but just curious how many there actually are.)
Tempest's bear form is slashed and bitten until Tempest's form transforms back to his humanoid self, with a small laceration on his arm. Tempest will back away from the rippers at Ellis' command. He quickly looks around and sees the three around Erro and touches his sweaty forehead. His hand begins to glow as the bead of sweat crystalizes into a shard of ice while he casts Ice Knife that he launches forward at one of the rippers on the ground beneath Erro. Then he will (bonus) wildshape into a Spider King.
Attack: 21 Damage: 9 Hit or miss, all three rippers have to make a DC13 Dex save or take 10 cold damage.
((Okay, I seem to have a middle-aged moment there, sorry Xtra. There are in fact 12 of the Rippers. I have no idea why I put 8, since it was always in my head there were 12!! I think perhaps I was thinking there were some out of immediate sight, but then forgot about that part. Sorry all for the confusion.))
Ellis will target the group of Rippers attacking Tempest / Daner: A roll: 7
One of the Rippers shakes it's head, confused, then collapses in a heap on the ground.
Ripper saves vs Ice Knife: 21, 17, 9
Erro tries to grab his sword. He manages to fumble it out of his scabbard, but in the confusion it gets caught in the net and jerked from his hand. He'll be able to retrieve it for use next round as a free action, but he loses his action for this go trying to grab hold of it.
The bolt of ice slams into one of the Rippers, causing it to screech in pain. The ice then explodes and though that Ripper and the one next to it instinctively jump out of the way, the one holding Erro's leg catches the blast as it is taken by surprise and lets go, falling back to the ground. They pack will no longer have advantage on attacks next turn vs Erro, and Erro is able to withdraw his foot back inside the net.
Amaya: sorry I wasn't clear, Erro is dangling in a net just above the ground - think Ewoks and Return of the Jedi.
Darion takes the inspiration from Ellis, rolling out from under the Ripper just in time as a claw scythes towards him. He scrambles away on his back then uses his movement to stand up and casts sleep at 2nd level at it: 26
Kanush stares at the nearby Rippers, frustrated as he doesn't have a weapon to help. Instead he will use his action to try and find the leader again, analysing the snarling pack.
Nature: 15
Lomar snarls, and though he steps back raises his hands and bolts of energy dart out towards the Ripper that was attacking Ellis. Magic Missile: 12
Zilla gives a strange, ululating battle cry and hurls her dagger at the same Ripper. Attack: 8, 3
The Ripper that attacked Darion collapses to the ground with a look of surprise on it's face.
The one attacking Ellis gives a screeching cry as the magic missile slams into into it, though the dagger bounces off it's hide.
Kanush gives a sudden yell of victory, and points to one of the Rippers attacking Tempest / Daner. It is, now you look, slightly larger and has two red stripes curling back from it's mouth. "It is that one! She is the Leader!"

Enemies turn
The Rippers start to look a little dismayed that 4 of their number have inexplicably collapsed. You all see a distinct wavering in their attack, but now you know what to look for you notice Red Stripes give a strange, drawn out noise, like the cawing of bird but lower and deeper and this seems to rally the Rippers for the moment.
Red Stripes hisses at Daner and attacks: Bite: attack 17, damage 8, Claw 1: attack 11, damage 6, Claw 2: attack 23, damage 10
The Ripper next to her also attacks Daner: Bite: attack 23, damage 4, Claw 1: attack 20, damage 9, Claw 2: attack 24, damage 5
Against Tempest - the remaining two Rippers seem confused by the abrupt transformations he has gone to, and seemingly hesitate a moment uncertain though then their instinct kicks in and they attack
The three surrounding Erro seem frustrated, in as much as it is possible to tell. Unable to attack with their claws two of the leap up and try and hang onto the net and bite at him. They make an athletics check vs DC 13, on a success the hold onto the net and are able to try and bite Erro. On a failure they fall back to the ground and no attack takes place
3rd Ripper; Athletics: 14, Bite: 14, damage 9
4th Ripper; Athletics: 3, Bite: 14, damage 3
The last of them around Erro, injured, snarls but there is no room for it to try and get at Erro and it just screeches at him.
The final Ripper suddenly finds itself alone and surrounded by a group of what seem tougher prey, eyeing up the situation it decides that survival takes priority and suddenly bolts away, circling back towards Red Stripes. It uses all of its turn doing this, but next round will be in melee with Tempest / Daner
The rippers jump upon the netted Erro, snapping at him with their vicious maws. Whether it was the netting obstructing their mouthes, his scale armor, or his own deft maneuvering, he couldn’t tell, but he did not feel the expected teeth sinking into his flesh. Erro gives a quick sigh of relief but then grunts in frustration at the masterwork net. He clasps his side blade and attempts to cut through a portion of the net, presumably with disadvantage:
Attack: 9 Damage: 8.
If successful and if he tumbles to the ground he’ll do an Acrobatics check to attempt to not fall prone: 17. If I can still use a bonus action, I’d like to grab my shield.
If still hanging in the net, Erro will use his bonus action to groan, and possibly use the results of above Acrobatics roll to see if he can’t buck any of the raptors off of him.
DM, if any of this doesn’t check it out I’ll redo it!

Ellis was surprised, seeing the Ripper in front of him being hit by attacks, looking to see that they were from Lomar and Zilla. "Thanks!" he says to them before hearing Kanush point out the leader of these Rippers, how it's slightly larger with two red stripes. He then sees all the Rippers attacking Daner and Tempest or going after the guy in the net still. "Daner!" he says, casting Healing Word to help him out. Then he uses Vicious Mockery on Red Stripes, knowing it might not be much if at all helpful, but every little bit helps if it works.
Bonus Action: Healing Word on Daner - 5
Action: Vicious Mockery at Red Stripes - 14 WIS Save or take 2 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack roll
((ha ha!))
Should have said, end of round Hero's go.

Okay Six doesn't seem to have been on for a bit, so I'll do Daner's go.
Seeing the Ripper with the Red Stripes he jumps down and attacks, using his action surge to attack twice.
1st attack: 18, damage 8+3 (+2 of crit)
2nd attack: 25, damage 5+3 (+7 of crit)

Dunno what happened there, but he does 11 damage to Red Stripes!

Spider Tempest reels from the two claws that slash at his flesh. He quickly turns and bites at Red Stripes.
Attack: 12 Damage: 8 DC 11 Con save or take: 9 poison damage , half on success.
