The note, written in Common, says, "Raaxil, I have figured out how to complete the process. When you are ready, simply pour the contents of this blue pot into the cauldron and stir. The effects should be instantaneous, but DO NOT DRINK THE RESULTING POTION."
Arnald goes down to the first level and walks around the skeletons and over to the throne. He checks the throne for traps and, if finding none, proceeds to sit on it and proclaim, "Behold Arnald the keen! The best archer in all the world!. It is only right that he should be king." He starts chuckling to himself and stands and walks back over to the staircase.
Zelra pops back up to the first floor to let the others know the second floor is safe but to "STAY AWAY FROM THE BLUE POT AND CAULDRON, EMPHASIS ON STAY AWAY," before slipping away to check out the third floor.

Arnald Investigation: 17
Ruik follows the party down the stairs and into the passage. After the sloping tunnel curves to the right, it opens into a chamber. Three odd humanoid skeletons, topped with draconic skulls, stand at attention, holding swords. At the back of the chamber is a large throne-like chair, currently empty, on a mahogany dais.
Zelra moves further into the passage, and Arnald makes his way to the chair and examines it. He finds no sign of traps on the throne itself, but he does notice a hinged panel in the bottom of the throne. After his proclamation, his chuckle is accompanied by a line of dark energy that flows from the throne throughout the room, spreading like a fire and then dissipating across the floor. The cracking of bones signals the movement of now-animated skeletons. In addition, a panel in the wall behind the party slides downward, and two more skeletons move forward with swords of their own.
Placement: Five skeletons have animated and surrounded the party, each between 10-20 feet away.
For Zelra:
You pass back through the laboratory and through the passage into yet another chamber.
This chamber's walls are painted to look like the inside of a dragon's lair: The scenes depict piles of treasure, robed acolytes bowing in supplication, bound prisoners being served up as a meal, and other draconic imagery. All of the paintings focus toward the south wall, where a pile of gold coins form a nest inside of an alcove perfect for a large dragon.
In addition to the paintings, there are four large glyphs: One each on the north, south, east and west walls. The southern glyph is within the alcove. The glyphs glow slightly in the dark of the room.
In the northwest corner of the room, a teleportation circle has been etched onto the floor. The lack of wear on the etchings implies that the circle was created very recently. A thick metal rod, inscribed with sigils, stands in the middle of the circle.
Lying on the floor in different parts of the room are four dead bodies. Although the bodies look roughly humanoid, they are stitched together from various parts, including some that appear to be draconic in nature - small wings, tails, and elongated necks.
OOC: Note that Zelra is not in the initiative order, as she is in a separate room at the moment.

"Arnold," Sylyra almost sings, "your subjects have awoken." He clasps his staff in both hands and speaks a few words in druidic. Translucent green flames spread across the carved wood, giving off a faint green glow. He steps up to the nearest skeleton and attempts to knock its block off.
Oh, well, apparently her senses were as bad as her fighting. The disappointment was so deep, it did not leave the room for fear or any other feeling. Ola simply attacked the closest skeleton using her long sword with two hands to vent at least some negative emotions:
Bringing up his fists, Uragum cracks his knuckles and then tilts his head to the sides causing the joints in his neck to also crack. He then makes a quick motion and casts his armor spell before taking a look at his companions and says, "Let's rattle some bones."

If Zelra can hear any commotion coming from the group, she'll use up to her maximum amount of movement to reach the group. If not, then:
"Well damn." Zelra's eyes are on the gold coins but she holds herself back as she throws another ball bearing towards one of the corpses and see if it reacts. If it does, she'll run back up to the group exclaiming "WEIRD UNDEAD HUMANOID DRAGON THINGS INCOMING."If it doesn't, she'll go towards the teleportation circle to examine it but being extra cautious to not disturb the corpses and keeping an eye out for traps.
Seeing how close his "subjects" were, Arnald opts to draw his sword. He yells, "Bow before thy king!" and charges at the closest skeleton while laughing.

Sylyra's staff arcs through the air before a skeleton can take a step, shattering a nearby skull into a thousand splinters. Ola and Arnald each charge past Uragum as a magical shield springs up around him, and press two of the skeletons into the corner of the room. Bones soar through the room as their swords go to work, but Arnald's overconfidence hurts him, taking a deep cut from a skeleton's sword in his leg. Behind the party, a skeleton is too fast for Otger's flame to reach it, but its sword slows in the air as it reaches toward the cleric, chilled by Ruik even as the dwarf sidesteps another skeleton's approaching stab.
