Hammond: (to Edmond, Misty, Conrick, Gerrack, Gimble, and Finnian [if Finnian got closer to the wagon]) "Nice to meet you Gerrack, Edmond. I trust your friends haven't given names out of privacy and not out of some distrust or unfriendliness. Goblins and Bandits?! Then rumors are true and the roads are dangerous. Are you all brave and strong adventurers? I imagine you, Edmond, are. To answer your question miss, i am heading to the city, hoping to make a bit of profit. What i do is take goods from other places and sell them somewhere else. I sadly do not have healing potions or arrows for sale. Perhaps when i leave Emberhorn City."

”How rude of me, my name is Conrick Porgisl... Sir Hammond, do you have any way to protect yourself? I don’t mean to scare you but we’ve encountered some villainous foes on these roads who’d see your cart as quite the stash. Do you ever worry about your personal safety?”
"Very well." Misty says with a nod to the driver. to her companions. "I suggest we let him continue on his way, and do so ourselves. We have a bit of traveling to do and it would be nice to get a ways before we need to camp again." She does not give her name.

“Yeah, we have somewhere to be. Let’s get, while we still have daylight.”
Gimble begins a slow walk away from the cart and once again keeps his eyes peeled for threats and any hint of thieves cant symbols and signs that may mark the road.
Especially with the knowledge that he's being hunted fresh in his mind, Finnian stays a little behind the rest of his friends to try and draw less attention to himself. When both groups part ways, he offers a simple, "Safe travels," and gets ready to continue the march.

(OOC: DM's Comment, Its usually a smart move to not give out your name, for names are power. [not saying that you did the Correct move, but this is something you may wish to continue doing outside the tutorial zone.] {I realized i Italicized correct and you might not have a way of identifying that. I'll just say i emphasized correct.})
Hammond: (to the party) "Sadly my only allies are speed and luck. I do of course worry but my venture does not permit that much of an expenditure to hire protection. Maybe if things go well enough in the capital i might." As the party signals they need to leave. "Well i best be off too. Good luck and hopefully we'll see each other again some day."
Hammond has his horses start walking down the road, then Hammond and his wagon start to head in the distance.
(OOC: @ everyone, what do you do? [i can skip ahead to this evening if the party is just heading down the road as before, i'll need a marching order and a pace for the day.])

Gerrack will just take to the air again and continue to scout, probably if we're doing order, out front on the right or left side (whichever one Hati doesn't take). I won't bother with rolls if we're just going straight to the evening unless you want a few!
(OOC: the marching order as far as i can tell is the same as last time. It being, Hati and Gerrack are fly scouting ahead of the party. Gimble is leading the group semi scouting being in the front. followed next by Misty and Finnian walking side by side. then Conrick, and finally Edmond bring up the rear, watching for any dangers from behind. At a normal pace.)
The party continues down the road as they were. Taking a quick stop to enjoy lunch, then resuming the journey to the goblin cave. traveling several miles throughout the day until it started getting dark (OOC: give me an intelligence check if you have at least a plus +1 modifier to intelligence to see if you can guess the time of day it is.) when the party did the usual of pulling to the side of the road to setup camp. (OOC: feel free to rp that if you wish, me as the dm is sort of curious as to who gets fire wood, who picks the spot for camp, and other things like that. [no big deal if you do not wish to bother with those details.]) the party gets settled in, and starts their evening meal. (OOC: mark off another ration.)
(OOC: i'll need to know if anyone is taking a watch, which watch of three, and a perception check from those watching. feel free to have multiple people on a watch if you like.)

As the day draws to a close, Gerrack scouts for a good place to camp, keeping in mind the differing needs of those members of the party who lack wings. Finding what he deems an acceptable spot close to a source of water, he motions to Hati, then dives down towards the others, pulling up short as the group comes to a halt. "I-I've been looking for a place to set up camp... what do you think of that c-copse of trees over there?" he asks the others.
SURVIVAL: 21
As they set up for the night, Gerrack takes some time to prepare and cook his hare over the campfire for an evening meal. Approaching Edmond, he offers a portion of the cooked flesh to him to supplement his own dinner. "T-thank you for sharing your rations with me y-yesterday. I would like to s-share my kill with you as well."
After preparing his bedroll as appropriate, Gerrack will take some time to pull out his journal and inkwell and begin recording the past few days' events meticulously.
This will be splendid, Gerrack. Thank you for the coney. I'll gather fire wood. And take 2nd watch. Say, does anyone else have ideas for how to tackle a lair of Goblins?
”Well I was thinking about that. How many of you can see in the dark if these guys don’t have anything lit. I can imagine it’s going to get dark fast. If we have torches it would give us away but we may not have a choice there. We can take it slow or we can just go at each room til we know we’ve killed em all. I’ll take first watch again by the way,” Gimble says as he lays his pack down and whittles some wood as he sits by the fire.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Even before they stop to set up camp, Finnian looks around for promising dry wood for the night's fire. Of course, his eye for such things had always been poor, so the sailor will count himself blessed if he can find enough wood before the sun properly sets. He stays well-within shouting distance of the campsite while he searches.
Once back in camp, he'll study his spellbook while the light is with him. "I'll take third watch again, if it's all the same to everyone."
Survival: 5
Perception: 19
(Man am I glad that Finnian isn't the only one doing firewood)
"I will also a-assist with the watch again, the s-s-second this time."
PERCEPTION: 21
Thinking about Gimbel's advice, Gerrack clacks his beak together. Tentatively, he asks: "A-Are any of us skilled at m-m-mimicry? There were b-bandit clothes we m-m-might have used to d-disguise ourselves, but I-I have never been good at s-s-subterfuge. But m-maybe we could still t-try to s-surprise them. Catch and r-release an animal n-nearby that they might hunt, or at the least, i-i-imitate the sound of one. Or a lone h-hunter, led astray, while the rest of us w-wait in ambush outside the entrance?"
