Maggie leaps over the railing, her Tiefling tail helping her propel the fifteen feet between the ships, and lands safely on the deck with a roll. She then springs to her feet and engages the remaining ghost pirate. She lunges forward and stabs the ghost pirate in the side and follows up quickly with a slice to the leg, dropping the ghost pirate to one knee. The pirate looks up at Maggie and its mouth opens wide and a loud screeching sound bellows out of it.
Clavorus is up next.
((Clavorus, quick recap, Gaerich and Maggie are on the deck of the pirate ship and there are three dead ghost pirates at their feet and a fourth one wounded and kneeling on a knee, screeching into Maggie's face.))
Clavorus continues to mediate and holds his action.
Captain Russell and the crew rush to the rails and seeing the tide of the battle (no pun intended) turning their way they quickly start throwing ropes attached to grappling hooks at the ghost pirate ship's railing and start to pull the two ships closer.
Gaerich walks purposefully over to the remaining ghost pirate and swings his axe at it’s head with reckless attack Attack: 23 Damage: 6 and follow up with his longsword to the neck. Attack: 15 Damage: 4
Gaerich saunters over towards the kneeling ghost pirate as it screeches up at Maggie. With a quick thwap with his axe Gaerich silences the ghost pirate for good and with his longsword sends the ghost pirate's head sailing up into the sky, over the railing, and plopping into the foamy green sea.
Cyrus saunters over to the railing, helping the crew to haul the ghost ship towards The Persistent. How does the rope feel as it tugs on the pirate ship? Like does it feel fully corporeal?

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gaerich nudges one of the ghost pirates with his foot, giving it a once over as he does. Investigation 14What the **** are these things? Seriously, what the ****?
Gaerich nudges the ghost pirate, getting a green shine on his boot. He can't tell what they are except that they have humanoid features that look terribly distorted. As Gaerich examines the pirate Cyrus boards the ghost ship and starts looking around. The top deck seems stripped of anything of value except for the beams, sails, and a broken piloting wheel. A trap door is open and leads down into the bowels of the ghost ship. The heavy green mist continues to swirl about the two ships.
Over on The Persistent Captain Russell and the crew finish off tying up the ghost ship and Muldoon goes to board the ship, but before he does he turns to Captain Russell and says, "keep Hammand and the guests below deck while I investigate." Captain Russell pulls off his hat and bows sarcastically towards Muldoon and says, "as you command, Muldoon," and then turns to Ronan and Aegis, nods at them towards the trap door leading down below deck and they hustle over.
Muldoon walks around towards one of the dead ghost pirates and kneels down. He removes a dagger from his boot and uses it to probe the dead ghost pirate. He looks up at Gaerich and then around the ship. "I don't like this one bit. Someone needs to get Huron over here. Maybe he'll know," he says aloud to no one in particular. He then looks up at Gaerich, "I saw you jump into the fray. You're a little bit crazy. I like that. So, what do you think?"
Maggie walks around the upper deck and she notices that the ripped sails, on closer inspection, aren't made of strips of cotton, but seem to be strips of skins of some type of creatures.
Cyrus and Gimble make their way to the trap door ((do you guys want to enter?)).
Gaerich looks down and smiles a wolfish grin They look like ghosts but they die like men. Is there hazard pay, Muldoon? Or do you pay by the ear? He laughs again as he cleans and sheathes his weapons.
Muldoon chuckles at Gaerich's remark, stands up, and then wipes his dagger on his pants. He looks around at the ghost pirate ship once again and shakes his head. "I feel this ship has been cursed, but by what I don't know." He looks over at Gimble and Cyrus who stand by the entrance to the lower decks. He points towards the door with his dagger and says to Gaerich, "shall we?"
After determining the sails are made of some kind of skin, Maggie moves toward Muldoon and Gaerich. “I’m coming too. I have to see more if I want to write a ballad about the living, or rather dead now, I suppose, ghosts.”

Gaerich looks up Are these ghosts or men? Who has knowledge of these things? Muldoon, what do you make of this? Who was sailing the ship?
Maggie investigates the bodies, searching for something useful. 11
Gimble will also cross over to the other and start to go below deck.
