((With the loss of Clavorus, we have lost our main healer. I would be happy to switch to a cleric. I love playing clerics, I just thought I would try something different this time. I have already okayed it with the DM. I just thought if you guys don't mind or would prefer a cleric, that I would switch. Let me know. Thanks, Charlie))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((That's a shame re: Clavorus. Gimble I can see cleric being helpful but at the end of the day it's 5e so feel free to stay monk if you prefer))
"Yeah, Clav, this seem like normal rot to you?" Cyrus watches Gaerich and Clavorus inspect the food and fog and looks at Maggie. "I'm interested in finding a log if there is one, fancy splitting up?" He takes the lead and approaches the door at the end of the hallway, pressing his ear to it.

Clavorus looks about the green fog. He shakes his head as he tries to deduct what the green mist could be. "From what I can tell it's something unnatural, but I think we all came to that conclusion without my help."
As Clavorus tries to figure out what's going on Muldoon moves towards the other doors and looks at the party and says, "well let's get this search over so we can get back on The Persistent quicker and be on our way. I imagine Lord Hammand is getting antsy."
There are the four doors left, one at the end, two to the left and one to the right.
((I would like to make the conversion. Gimble's attitude won't change and her backstory only has minor changes. She is still the same "person", just has some different abilities.))
Gimble tags along with Cyrus, staying as close as she can, a bit more confident than before. "I think I will stick with you for a bit."
Cyrus opens the door and a wretched smell billows out, making everyone's eyes water. Through his teary eyes, Cyrus makes out a large room, around fifteen feet wide and runs the rest of the ship. Rows and rows of hammocks hang from the posts and ceilings, some of the ropes rotten or ripped with holes. The floor is covered in greenish-red muck. At the foot of the hammocks are several chests.
((No Gimble is there still, just switched from a Monk to a Cleric. I took off the Monk character campaign and the new Gimble will be uploaded soon. The only change is Gimble is a Cleric now)).
Looking around Cyrus, Gimble takes in the room. Seeing that there are no hostile targets, she takes her sword out and approaches the nearest trunk. First, she examines the trunk to see if it is locked or maybe trapped.
Investigation - 4
If it is neither locked or trapped, she puts the tip of the blade under the lid, shying away from the chest, she will turn the blade to open the chest slowly.
Cyrus watches nervously as Gimble inspects and then opens the first of the chests. "What's in the other rooms Muldoon?" he calls back over his shoulder.

Gimble moves towards the closest. She keeps examines the trunk carefully and finds no signs of any traps. She then takes a step back and using her sword pries the trunk open and a puff of green dust follows. Inside the trunk, Gimble sees a few old moth-eaten clothes, a rusty switchblade that's part of an old shaving kit, and some shells that have been shaped to look like coins.
Gimble tentatively reaches in and scoops up the shells. She then repeats the process with the other chests. ((How many chests are there, I'm not sure how many are there are so I just rolled for 3 more.))
Investigation - 17, 20, 12
While exploring the chests, Gimble starts to mutter to Cyrus, "There has to be something that holds this old ship together... What do you think would keep it floating above the waves? A ghost? Oh, I hope its not a ghost. Anything but a ghost..."

Gaerich looks at the barrels in disgust. “Is the fog rotting the food? Did it do the same to the sailors? Who knows of such things?”
"I'm hoping our druidic friend can help with that question," Cyrus replies.

((OOC - looks like Clavorus has dropped from the game. Will be missed))
Clavorus hustles down to the second level of the ship and joins the group. "So what do you all need from me?"
Gaerich approaches the druid “What can you tell us about this fog, Clav?”

((It’s really up to you. If you want to keep monk, I can work into a more supportive bard. I’ll only need to switch a few spells, I think.))

Cyrus again listening to the door you don't hear anything to give you worry.
"I think we're alone here," Cyrus says, cavalierly swinging open the door.
