while Gimble goes into communication with Nebelun to cast Augury, Cyrus keeps watch at the forest line, but nothing comes about and Gimble is able to finish her ritual.

Cyrus, you keep an eye out but don't see any danger while Gimble does her ritual. While Gimble is doing her ritual are Gaerich or Maggie doing anything?

Maggie will climb a tree to get a view from above.

Maggie give me an acrobatics or athletics roll please.

"Well I don't see any danger for now," Cyrus says to the others, cocking his head back over his shoulder. "Any divine word, Gimble? Hey Gaerich, up for some scouting?"

"Oh powerful Nebelun, please meddle in my life, provide guidance to your humble servant."

Maggie makes it up the tree, using the thick branches to lift her up to the top. While atop of the tree Maggie can see the lines of trees stretching for several miles till it reaches the base of the wall of mountains. Maybe between ten to fifteen miles away Maggie can spot a column of smoke billowing from the north-east part of the forest.

Gimble, visions flashes before your eyes and sense of foreboding doom for your party. One vision shows tentacles bursting for the deep sea and grabbing members of The Persistent and breaking the ship. Another vision shows a giant lizard-like beast, as tall as the largest trolls, hunting and chasing you and your friends throughout the forest. 

((I know this might not be what Augury exactly does, just thought it would help with the story)).

Gaerich smiles at Cyrus Stretch our legs and take in our surroundings? I thought you’d never ask! Gaerich heads over to Cyrus and gets ready to reconnoiter.

Gimble, shocked by the visions, has trouble standing from the seated position she took during the ritual.  Once she sees where the rest of the group is she runs to Cyrus.  Between gasping breaths, she repeats what she saw.  Some of the message comes out jumbled as she talks very fast trying to convey the message. 

After she repeats what she saw, she blurts out, "We must warn the ship."

Gaerich listens to Gimble’s revaluations and breaks into a sprint towards the ship. Don’t leave from here, there’s some fell beat in the deep water that will tear the ship apart! He yells as he reaches the Persistant.

((The ship is too far off the coast where you landed for it to hear you and I might not have made it clear but it’s on it’s way to look for better place to land))

Would thaumaturgy reach them with the “3x as loud” effect?

You need be able to reach .5 miles or around 2600 feet for them to hear you. And to row out to reach then would take around 15 minutes.

Gaerich leaps into the rowboat and begins heaving the oars as he attempts to reach the ship.

"Blast," Cyrus swears as Gimble relays his message and Gaerich tears off toward the coast and gets in a rowboat. "Gaerich wait! We'll row faster together!"

"Ahhhh, forget that! You two, to the oars!!" Cyrus runs forward and dives headfirst into an oncoming wave, using his swim speed and dash to swim 60ft/round towards the ship.

Without skipping a beat, Maggie begins rowing immediately after Gimble is on.

"Don't leave me on this island!" Clavorus screams as he rushes into the surf and then jumps on board as Maggi and Gaerich start to row and Cyrus quickly snatches Gimble out of the water and swings her onto the boat. 

You all row towards the boat and as you get closer you look up at The Persistent and see Muldoon standing at the railings with a perplexed look on his face. "Where are the supplies!" he screams towards you as you row closer to the rope bridge hanging off the side of the ship.

((Cast augury again, as a standard action to see if we are making the right choice by returning to the ship.))

((If anything but weal)) Yell back at him, "I have had a revelation from Nebelun, the ships is about to be attacked from below!!!  Ready the crew and passengers for the attack!!!"

((If Weal)) Gleefully shout back, "Nebelun has meddled today and possibly saved our lives!!!  I will explain on the ship!!!"
