Gulgus
Gulgus follows the others but stays near the doorway looking about and taking in the room. "Looks as though they may have barricaded themselves in ne'er tae leave again."
Avia and Kysdiane first turn their attention to the bones but are too occupied with just how many there are to focus on any single thing.
Avia then switches to the less off-putting ruins of the furniture. The splinters of wood tell her nothing. But, she is able to see several metallic remnants. At first the condition of the nails and screws throw her off. Taking into account the arid air of the desert and rust patterns lead her to conclude that the furniture is at least 600 years old.
Gulgus, first assuming that whomever these poor souls were trying to keep themselves in. A second glance tells the exact opposite, the bones were all generally more behind the ruined furniture they were trying to keep something out. He also sees something underneath a bony hand. A scrap of parchment with faded, but legible writing in Dwarvish.
On the parchment it reads (for anyone who understands Dwarvish):
"To Aerodynamics Team: We'd appreciate it if ya turn off the wind machine at some point so we ken sleep! I know yer excited about the new flying contraption, but its driving some of us mad!
Also, we told ya that control crystal ain't finished yet, so who knows what might hap-"
It seems that something had suddenly interrupted the author at the end.
Gulgus picks up the parchment translating it for the group as he reads it aloud, "Tae Aerodynamics Team: We'd appreciate it if ya turn off tha wind machine at some point so we ken sleep! I know yer excited about tha new flyin' contraption, but its driving some of us mad! Also, we told ya that control crystal ain't finished yet, so who knows what might hap-"
He whistles at the end wondering about the evil that befell his kin long ago and what danger may lie ahead.
"Not that I can see..." Kysdiane replies from inside. He is too preoccupied with the bones to be actually looking for another door, but he doesn't see any nonetheless. "I have a bad feeling about this guys... Bones are never a good sign."

"I agree," Renata nods at Kysdiane, "we shouldn't stay here for long. Let's leave them in peace..." Renata sorrowfully eyes the mangled remains behind the furniture who had suffered terrible fate. She pulls the tassels from her headscarf aside and crouches down, finds a tarp of some sort to cover the bodies up, while silently chanting prayers to Savras.
Before they move out of the room, Renata takes the time to pay the long-deceased their last rites, as Kysdiane keeps watch.
In the final moment of silence, Renata, Kysdiane, and Gulgus start to hear a strange sound (working off of Passive Perception). Like a rough, but consistent hiss. It doesn't seem to be coming from their current floor, but it does sound like it is somewhere nearby.
Furthermore, Renata also senses a very slight magical charge.
Gulgus looks around disconcerted by the hissing noise. He reaches out steadying the hyena and jackal while the weasel ducks into the hood of his cloak. "Somethin' be activated. Maybe further below. I kinna tell for certain but I dinna have a good feelin' about it." As they progress he will take a position towards the rear of the group keeping Produce Flame active in his palm and held out for lighting.
Renata finishes up her prayer and stands up, her eyes are lost in the distance, like she is gazing at something out of her sight. "Not natural", she adds, "something magical." She follows her group to investigate the origin of the sounds coming from.
After exiting the room, they start to follow the sound back towards the initial chamber. As the approach the elevator, the sound is getting louder andthe magical charge in the air grows.
While still weak enough not to affect anything at the moment, Lia recognizes the magic on the merits she was in the realm from which it originated at one point in her journey. Even still, something about it seems off.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Waiting and at the ready, the party keep alert as the sound gets louder and louder. Before long a strange sight presents itself. A floating mass of chaotic blacks and whites phases through the floor (Basically, it's living static). Its mere presence seems to warp reality.
During this fight, the following effects will apply to each character separately:
Kysdiane, you see a shadow running back down the hall you just came from. Soon, you realize, your own shadow is no longer with you (No mechanical change)
Gulgus notices that the NPCs are giving him unfriendly looks (disadvantage on all charisma checks)
Avia's teeth fall out of her mouth (no mechanical change, they will return if victorious.)
Renata your lower half has turned into that of a slug (speed is halved)
Lia, up until it fully revealed itself, it was fully visible. But, at the moment, only a portion of it is (Foes are invisible beyond 20 feet of you).
Initiative order:
Lia - Flame
Renata - Scales
Living static
Gulgus
Avia - Canteen, and Kysdian - Flail (Initiative tied)
Lia moves forward enough to see the creature more clearly, then casts a spell... spiritual weapon A spiritual dagger forms and strikes at the mass... Attack: 16 Damage: 11
She then casts another spell... ray of frost A ray of blue energy lancing out to strike at the mass as well. Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Kysdiane will watch over Renata as she covers the bodies and make sure that none of them try and attack her or anyone else in the group.
