Just catching up to Dain and Relg, Otrov will attempt a but of a hop and twirl flourish Acrobatics7 and say, "And I am Otrov Malo, misunderstood genius, at your service...well, not really at your service, but rather someone else's service right now. We're here to deliver the message that Dain here just mentioned. Your skills are valuable to those in the town and as you can see," Otrov points at the dead manticore with the spike she took from it, "It's not so safe here. The reports suggest waves of orcs coming down the hills. I would suggest gathering what you can carry and go back to the town for the time being." Otrov looks around the windmill to see if anything shiny catches her eye. Investigation13"Other than the beast down there, has anything else of note been happening around here?"
„Eeh, i don‘t know who this sherif is you are talking about, he must be new. But never the less, you saved me from this inconvenience. Give me a moment, i‘ll be down in a second.“
Otrov, when you try your impressing performance, you stumble at the end and spoil it a little bit. You can not see anything valuable around, but you see huge clawmarcs on the very sturdy ironbound frontdoor of the mill. But you see a broken shutter from one of the top windows and some broken slates from the roof on the ground.
You hear a loud clicking and a big bar being moved, before the frontdoor opens and the midwife opens you the door.
„ Come on in, i will make some tea and i have some cookies to thank you for your help.“

”ooh, I love cookies!! Wait, just no ‘special’ cookies you plant lovers eat all the time,” Otrov says with a grin.
She leads you inside, the ground floor isfull of flower beds with diverent herbs growing, on side of the room contains a rack with several lines hif herbs drying. A medium sized millstone is motuonless in the middle if the room. She leads you up a wooden staircase through an open trapdoor into a living area. She points at two armchairs and tells you to get comfortable while she picks up a turned over wooden table with some manticore spikes in it. The northward faceing window shows quite a few nasty slashes.
"So, thank you again for your help, but what is all this talk about a sherrif and going tho Phandalin?"
"Well there be some orcs causing some troubles me hearing." Dain speaks up. "There be this new sheriff, who wanted ye warned and, if possible, brought back to the safety of the town." He nods to the claw marks on the window. "Seeming like there be being lots more danger out here than those orcs to by me beard."
„I lived here for the last 100 years, my dear husband is burried here up the hill next to his grandfather. The door is nice and sturdy. I will be fine here. If you could just ask Sister Garaele to send a few suplies my way every few days. I will send her my potions back in return. Maybe it is not such a good idea to travel by myself for the moment. But i won‘t leave my home.“
While talking she takes a box from a shelf and put some cookies on the table while she puts up a kettle on the stove.
"Well I be tellin them ye might not be wanting ta come in." Dain says with a shrug. "If ye be staying, then we should be going." He nods to her, but does take a cookie. "We be having ta get down to some miner lads who need ta be warned as well." He explains. "Wanting ta be getting there before nightfall if it be possible." He is completely ready to leave the dwarf woman there if it is her wish to stay and is not about to try to talk her out of it.
Otrov frowns at the herbalist’s words. “You saw that beast right?” She looks at her companions before continuing, “Yes you have ties to this place but the great chaos listens to no tradition. Change is the way of nature, as you know.” Otrov smiles at the old woman and pops a cookie in her mouth. “Besides, we can take you back, see a few friends for a few days..Sister Garaele is dying to catch up with you! Just for a few days. Nothing is lost - this place and the memories will remain even if you don’t for a short time.”Otrov nods towards the hills. “Who knows when then next opportunity will come your way, especially if it gets up to the udders in orc stink.” Otrov crinkles her nose and shakes her head, but her eyes plead with the woman.
Relgalyn will take a couple of cookies and sit down, “We have time for tea at least, Dain, its only polite. But yes ma’am, I have no intent of dragging you from your home, just wanted to ensure you were aware of the danger and we’ll be happy to pass on your message.”
As you take Your time to observe the room, you see a warm and comfortable interior. But you also notice that the trapdoor and the window shutters are reinforced with iron, and have small arrow slits in them.
Dain shrugs and takes a seat. "No be wanting ta be rude, but daylights burnin as the saying goes..." He eats another couple cookies as he waits for the others to finish up.
„Oh, before i forget it,“ Adabra takes a small pouch from a wardrobe, opens it and puts it on the table between you. It contains one small vial with a clear red liquid. „A small token of my thanks for your help.“

Otrov, shrugging her head at the old woman's obstinacy, asks, "Well, what does that do?"
"Thank ye for ye hospitality." Dain says, giving the herbalist a bow of respect. "And thanks to ye for the... Whatever that be." He nods to the red liquid in the container. "Sure it be helpful in our journey."
"Well be best ta be being off then." Dain says and gives the dwarf woman a bow of respect again, then leads the way out. "Either of ye better at reading a map than I be?" he asks, holding up the map. "If no, then I'll be doing so, but wanted ta see if either of ye knew more about doing so..."

Relgalyn will lean against the side of the door, "At the very least, you could invite us in for a celebratory drink?"

Relgalyn will rise to his feet with a sigh, “Yes, I suppose we’d better be on our way. Be safe, ma’am.”
Once outside he’ll turn to the other two, “Did you see the locks and bars on that place? She is one prepared old lady.”
The old dwarfen lady gave you a potion of healing.
Unless you decide otherwise, Relgalyn add that one potion to your inventory.
