Balthazar will use his hexblade ability to put hexblade's curse on the interesting creature that has appeared in front of them. He will then attack with his longsword.

The attacks hit, he looks nothing in pain. "Mhmm, Kakanna (Shalona godess of birth) will love these souls to work with." then grabs Balthazar by the leg.
Athletics check: 22
Then runs off. (Kront'al came face-to-face with it)
If Balthazar's friends are able to save him he will either attack the creature that was grappling him, if that creature is still near, or, if the creature runs, he will cast an eldritch bast at him.
If the friend's are unsuccessful at freeing him he will open the efreeti bottle and take his chances.
(OOC: I will post rolls for one of these items depending on the outcome)

Balthazar with use his movement to stand (did he take any damage?) and use a bonus action to cast the hex on the creature and will attack the creature again with his sword.
BONUS ACTION: Cast hex on the creature, giving it disadvantage on strength checks. This will also give more damage on a hit. (Hexblade's curse is still active)
ACTION: Attack the creature with his sword -- Attack: 12 Damage: 9 Force damage on a hit plus another 2 Necrotic damage on a hit. Also a 19 or a 20 is a critical.

Delfaen will frantically search for what put a hole in the carriage perception:16
