"Errgh...I'm sure he did not go far...I'm not sure who he is, I met encountered him earlier coming up the mountain...but he told me the strangest thing and attacked me with his devils...he certainly has a knack for saying things that don't make sense...
Macgullickson's field:
Jogs: With the intiative, you manage to take off after before it get's to far, and attempt to wrestle it to the ground, the hare tries to evade! Make an athlectics check against it's acrobatics.
Hare Acrobatics: 19
Powder Swamp:
Yaw: You manage to creep quite a distance away from the dragon, slowly pushing the ground. However, even at a good distance from the dragon your not out of the woods swamp yet. You encounter a dry spot of land, and you'll have to put your back into lifting and dragging it across, all while staying quiet; make an athletics check.
Cave of Allycs:
Leshanna: The arrow flies true, pwack!, and cultist flops over. Rattles scrambles back on his feet, "Hey, whatever you say, you got the bow!" The cult leader has barely managed to scramble out of the water, but as he makes it to the center platform, a massive wave topples him over. As the wave crashes, five massive serpintine heads spew fourth, and then lurch forward to partake of the fresh kills left out for it. The cultist leader slowly sits up, trying to speak some ineffeable language before one of the heads tears him apart. 450 XP.
You imagine this is the part where you run away.
Road to Corvidae:
Pito: The mans injuries seem to be completely from exhaustion, he looks quite gaunt, and doesn't seem to be breathing. You are pretty sure he is dead. His shoes seem completely warn out, and his socks are soaked with blood. His arms are clutched tightly to his chest.
Rafon's Run Settlement:
Ulrich: As the Wretch reels back, john intercepts, and swings with his morningstar! Attack: 9 Damage: 8
The wretch splatters! 50XP. John says shakily "S-Stay b-behind me." You can hear his chainmail rattling.
Dula seems ready to cast a spell, but she hesitates. "Wait stop! Those are people!" Not realizing how far gone they are.
As the Wretchs clambor forth, and two more for begin to rise from the bile, you get a Sending message from the Archbishop "Ulrich, you are important to this mission, they don't understand how horrible these things are, show them what to do: kill the demons without mercy."
Pito pulls his arms apart, checking to see if he was clutching something before he died, or just curled in death. Any bloody footprints from those bloody socks?
As I creep away from the dragon, pushing the object through the swampy water, I hear a soft crunch as the wood and metal object makes contact with dry land. It looks like I won't be able to float this thing any farther, at least for now. Now that I have put some distance between myself and the threat, I take another close look at this thing while I attempt to lift and shove it up on to the dry land. Is it worth bringing along or is it debris left over from the dragon's pillaging. Maybe its worth something to someone... Apart from my movements, the swamp seems quiet again, but this time not so peaceful. I shiver, remembering how closely I had come to becoming a snack.
OOC: As I'm quite a distance away, how close am I still? Am I still within sight of the dragon? Ear shot?
Investigation: (How does this work in this situation? when not in a time crunch can I just investigate until I identify what it is? or can I only do this once and I stick with my original roll?)

Cave of Allycs:
Having kept herself between Rattles and the exit, Leshanna calmly turns to him, nodding to the scene behind him. "I suggest you let this happen quickly, or else you might be that thing's next meal." She turns her notched arrow and points it at him. "Any spells or magic and I will simply shoot you and leave you here for that thing to feast on next." She then raises an eyebrow. "You going to give me trouble or will you come peacefully?"
Intimidation: 7
(any chance she has advantage due to her earlier nat 20 persuasion, and the fact of the monster behind him? If so here is my advantage roll)
"Errgh...I'm sure he did not go far...I'm not sure who he is, I encountered him earlier coming up the mountain...but he told me the strangest thing and attacked me with his devils...he certainly has a knack for saying things that don't make sense..."
Noldeme hears and replies. "Understood. Then, we know he's the one behind the problems in the mountain. I'll look for him, and you can stay here. Stay safe, I'll be coming back soon." Unless Pua'a decides to stop her, the Aasimar leaves, longbow still in hand as she searches for the figure.
Orina and Jogs | Outer Corvidae - Macgullickson Field:
(OOC: Technically speaking you can't add Guidance to your rolls unless Orina was in range to be able to touch you first. Practically speaking let's roll with this, since Orina would have had 1st initiative and Jogs second, then we can say Orina held her action until Jogs went, boom! Now let's roll!)
Orina sees Jogs spring for the hare. Whether or not Jogs is able to grapple the hare to the ground or not, she still clasps her hands together and squints, then prays to her Lord to provide some guiding light to them in the darkness via a Sacred Flame (Dex DC 14, 1d8 radiant damage).
As the spell lights up the night, whether it hits or not Orina uses her bonus action to try to observe this strange, "painted" hare - is it summoned somehow, or a physical illusion of some sort? What really is this thing, anyway?
DM: if necessary, please choose the most appropriate roll for checking the hare: Arcana: 21 Insight: 25 Perception: 9 Survival: 5
(Oh right, if the sacred flame hits, it can do 6 radiant damage)
"Don't want to hurt you! Don't break fences, mend them!" Shouts Jogs, trying to get a grip on a foreleg and hindleg at the same time...if that's possible to do to a drawing...
Zacharias: "That's probably a lot to take in." Winter apologizes, as you finish collecting the parts and stuffing them in a sack that he has. "The gist of it is, if you want to know more, you'll need to join Rosebush, which by now, you've practically already have, but the last step is the hardest." He takes his sack and walks back towards the tower. "Areyo should be coming by soon to handle anymore, trust me, she can handle it. Walk with me, look around at this place, and answer me this question:
Are you prepared to give up everything you have for something you want?"
Powder Swamp
Yaw: By now, your probably about 60 feet away, so you would need to be particularly noisy to wake the dragon, but there is enough growth to be out of its sightline. You put your back into lifiting the object, which is extraordinarly heavy, but you quickly give out after about 5 feet, and drop it on your toe. You are just about to yelp out in pain, as your about to make a peep- rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
you hear a guttural roar in the distance- but not from the dragon, no that roar came from much further. Suddenly, a wave of swamp water washes up, and the ground stirs, and the head of the dragon fully rises from the water, and looks towards the direction of the sound!
Thankfully, you aren't in that direction, but the dragon is awake now. It can't see you, but That brief wave of water should make it easier to push, and past that you should be home free, as long the dragon remains distracted. No time for investigating now!
Cave of Allycs
Leshanna: "Are you kidding, you rescued me, why would that be an issue? Yeah, just lead the way, I don't care, I'll come peacefully, I'll go where you go for sure." Suddenly, one of the heads, which has finishied ripping through it's meal, spots you at the stairs RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! it releases a deafening roar, causing your ears to ring, and the head moves toward you
"I'LL GO ANYWHERE THAT'S NOT HERE, C'MON WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Rattles yells, desperately trying to push past you.
Road to Corvidae:
Pito: It seems like there are some spots of blood from where they have come through the holes in the shoe, most you can spot nearby seem to be heading away from Corvidae. Tightly clutched under his arms, taking a closer look, there seems to be a thick leather bound bag, which looks like it has something inside. Verdue says. "Aye, wondewhat he wanted to keep so safe... literally need to pry it from his cold dead hands, and he doesn't have anything else on him."
Greenport - Lush Mountain:
Noldeme: You stalk down the moutain, searching for the man. However, he is nowhere to be seen. If he is somewhere nearby, he hasn't amubushed you. You are startled by a voice "Hello? Anyone?" it sounds like the voice of your patron, from inside your mind.
Macgullickson's:
Jogs & Orina: As Jogs grabs the hare, quickly trying to keep it's flaling legs still you suddenly here a voice from the rabbit. "Hey! What's the big idea! Get yer claws off me ya big lizard!"
14 The rabbit begins to smolder, but the flame quickly disspates "What are you trying to do, cook and eat me? You got the order all wrong, I ain't even spiced!" Orina: You've seen something like this but...sometimes the aspects, essentially gods, take on an simalir appearance. You've never seen something like this, though, it's quite baffling!
Rafon's Run Settlement:
Ulrich: A dark, billowing hand of smoke blillow from your focus, clasping the wretch in smoke. It suffuses into it's body, covering it in soot, and, causing it to chip, and clotting the spilling wounds, however, it still limps forward. Smoke continues to billow from your focus, pooling at your feet and spiraling outwards.
Two wretches shamble forward and clash against John's shield: Attack: 19 Damage: 4 Attack: 6 Damage: 6
One of them barrles through, and takes a bite out of John's arm. John swings the morning star in his other hand! Attack: 18 Damage: 5
The wretch splatters onto the ground, the smoke around your feet, swirling forward and consuming, it's warped flash slowly dissolving into nothing but bones. A sacred flame is lunged at the other 7 and there is a flash of light flaring from inside the wretches body, before it collapses to the ground and suffers the same fate as the last. 100 XP, two wretches remain, it is your turn.
"I'm not a lizard!" shouts Jogs, who continues to restrain the creature but still doesn't want to harm it. "And you're not a hare! What are you? Why are you here?" After shifting her grip on the transforming creature she yells to Orina, "Should I let go?"
Orina and Jogs | Outer Corvidae - Macgullickson Field:
"Definitely not!" she yells back. Building off of the question Jogs already asked, Orina points a finger at the rabbit, casting Command as she shouts "Confess!"

Powder Swamp - Yaw:
rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I freeze. Not another one! Oh please, how can there be another dragon?! A wave of swamp water washes over me, nearly knocking me off my feet! panicing, I attempt to take advantage of the now marshy land ahead of me. I need to get out of here before the dragon notices that anything is missing! I take a deep breath... and... HEEAAAAVE! I push with all my might as the object slides through the mud.
Strength Check: You didn't ask for one but in case I was meant to do one
"What is it you want?"Noldeme doesn't take a second of guessing before assuming the voice inside her head is her patron. "I got this thing, probably what we were looking for, right? The longbow? I got this strange vision once I grabbed it, do you know anything about that?" Seeing that the figure is nowhere nearby, she stops, to give full focus to this conversation.
Leshanna gets Rattles out of the cave, then ties his hand, making sure he is not able to get away once he has a little less danger at his back. She will also hobble his feet so he cannot run away from her. With that all done she will march him back to town.
"What I want,"Zacharias replies, "is to follow the will of Ilmater. To be his hands and feet. To serve the people. From what I have seen, Rosebush does this as well — serves and ministers to the people, I mean. I have been raised to understand that nothing is my own. All I have belongs to Ilmater. If he wants to take away everything, it is his to do so." He pauses for a breath. "If joining Rosebush does not keep me from continuing to serve ... to minister ... but in fact will help me to do so, than I believe that is what I should do."
